Located in a nice spot, lots of parking. When you walk in you see a gorgeous array of desserts. Friendly service albeit slow. Lots of seating, open and bright. Prices were quite high in my opinion and the mousse tarts whole gorgeous, were difficult to eat the tart part. Very hard to cut into. As for the coffee, I was underwhelmed. It was only lukewarm. And, while latte art isn't super important, it was not impressive. The flavor was ok, but with it not being hot it wasn't excellent. I'd give the coffee another try and maybe a different dessert. When I go back I will give an update, but for now, I have to give 3 stars.

I've been here a few times and absolutely love this place. I'm glad I don't live closer, I'd be here daily if I did. The desserts are beautiful and delicious, the coffee is now my favorite in the triangle. Ask for the banana nut bread mocha...you can thank me later. They make their syrups and the options are amazing. They also have an array of teas as well also have savory baked goods as well. It's a great space to meet up with a friend over coffee /tea and dessert, have breakfast or telework. I've even sat alone and just enjoyed the beautiful space.

Passed by last night (Saturday) and it was packed, but line went by quickly. The place is super cozy and cute. They have a huge variety of sweets, coffees and teas. The service was great and the quality of the items is amazing. Had an iced coffee with the brown sugar and it was yummy. We will definitely be back!

There are soooo many amazing options at Asali! I had a peach pastry while my mom chose an almond blueberry confection. They were both delicious! There are plenty of tables in the staff were friendly and attentive. I also have to mention that the bathroom was really nice! We'll absolutely be back to try more of the beautiful pastries and cakes!

Asali Desserts has been voted the best places for desserts for a reason. Their desserts are little hand crafted works of art. Some dishes are so cute that you don't even want to eat them.!

Its been a while since I wanted to try this cafe out. I keep on hearing great reviews about it. This week, I got the chance to go. I had lunch before this so I was so full so didnt try much on the menu. They offer a great amount of pastries selections to pick from the menu;fruit tarts, marshmallow meringue, lemon bars, macaroons, vanilla bean with fruits danish, flan, dubai strawberry chocolate cup, gluten free creme brulee, lemoncello, kiwi tres leches, rice pudding and cakes like strawberry lemonade, lemon, carrot, orange creamsicle, chocolate rasberry, bavarian chocolate chips, strawberry creamcheese, almond and dulce de leche ( variety of cheesecakes:dubai, piatachio, knafeh, lotus biscoff).. The modern look middleastern cafe is super clean, good size, and its tranquil atmosphere will leave you refreshening. I ordered the combination baklava( pistachio and walnuts), the cheese Knafeh and a cup of capuccino. The capuccino is made just right, the way its suppose to be made. The latte art was a beautiful bonus to the drink. We dont have much cafes in NC that does premium arts(flower and swan)on latte like this cafe. The balava is how I like mines to be made( not too sweet, crispy and not too wet full of syrup). The Knafeh with cheese is just soo delicous have not tried this before but will order again. The knafeh is made up of shredded pastry dough and stuffed with cheese( with melted butter or ghee)baked. You pour a tiny glass of sweet syrup water on top while hot. Sometimes its garnished with crushed pistachio or other kinds of nuts. The staff are very welcoming, informing and service is one of the best for a cafe. New addition to this cafe would be the brunch menu!!!!!They now serve breakfast crossiant sandwiches(stuffed with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese) and toasts ( avocado and salmon or avocado with fruit), tomato feta pastry, Za'atar pie, cheese pie, spinach pie and beef bacon pastry etc. This cafe is in the Mcgregor shopping center which includes tables outside around the shopping area you can enjoy your foods.

Okay so I guess I started a bunch of reviews and didn't finish. This is the best pastry shop and I feel like it is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and the food is good. They have couches that are perfect for sitting and chatting.

Such a cute space. I saw different groups of people using it as a place to hold meetings. The have different kinds of seating available whether it's couches or tables. Very cozy. The drinks are delicious and the dessert was tasty. Once you order, you are giving a number and it is brought to your table. Highly recommend

Showcase with loads of sweet treats!

I arrived early to an appointment, so went down the road to grab a cuppa and something sweet. Asali hit the spot. Open and airy, with a huge glass case full of amazing treats and cakes to the left as you enter, you are immediately three times hungrier for sweets! I ordered Pistachio Baklava and a cappuccino, as one does at 1:30 on a random Tuesday. I quickly got on their wifi to check messages and such, and the food and drink were ready and on my table inside two minutes. I love a place that defaults to reusable plates and silver, and thinks to serve a spoon with your cappuccino. (I had requested a bit of cinnamon, and they dusted it perfectly.) I started to sit at one of the high bars around the perimeter, where the shades were drawn over the windows, but this left my legs exposed to the sun, so I moved further inside and sat at a four-top faux-granite-topped table in a lucite armchair. Since it was quiet, I didn't feel bad. No one was waiting for a seat. There were five ladies of various generations and a young man having a high tea in one corner, which looked amazing. I love having tea in a place where it is done well. There were little cakes and sandwiches on tiered trays and several pots of tea. Made me wish I had folks who like this practice. I ate my delicious baklava slowly, savoring the honey, nuts and cinnamon and the crisp flakiness of the phyllo. The coffee was smooth, slightly strong, and bitter enough that the milk almost couldn't temper it. Almost. If you're wanting a pleasant afternoon experience, I strongly recommend braving the horrible traffic and parking gauntlet of dodging huge SUVs in small parking places that is Edinburgh in Cary and try out Asali. You may want to get a second cuppa, if you have the time. You'll have to fight your way out of the lot, too.

Heard about this place and wanted to try it. I went in the afternoon, not too crowded, nice ambiance. Plenty of seating. The selection of desserts was amazing, macaroons, huge cake slices, muffins and other delicious treats. I can't wait to try them all. I ordered a blueberry lemon scone and a coffee cake (warmed). I also had an iced hazelnut latte. The scone was not the best. Lacked the scone consistency. The coffee cake was good but very sweet. The latte lacked flavor. They ran out of hazelnut so I got a bit of vanilla added. Overall it was a place I'd visit again to try some of the other treats. The staff were young and couldn't answer some of my questions. (Seemed like new trainees). But they were friendly. Looking forward to going back and trying one of the cakes.

I just happened to be in the area and found this place, and boy am I pleased! Such a cute spot. The large windows make it light and bright, and the decor is cute. Perfect for teleworking. They had an amazing selection of pastries and desserts. My favorite was the macar-oops: discounted macaroons because they turned out a little funky. I didn't grab one this time but will definitely be back to grab em masse. I ended up getting the cafe latte and blueberry lemon scone. The scone wasn't too sweet and perfectly balanced with the cafe latte. Both of the staff members were so kind and sweet. I can't wait until I have the opportunity to make another visit.

When I'm in town I always stop in for coffee and the amazing desserts. The staff is friendly and when it isn't too busy the seating area is sufficient. The ambiance is contemporary and fitting for a coffee/pastry shop.

Pistachio cheesecake, coconut square and chocolate banana mousse! All YUM!!

Love this place! It's my daughter's favorite and we stop here every time I fly in to Raleigh. It is soooo good! We try different desserts every time we go....always slitting them. Sometimes a nibble actually makes it home to share with her husband and kids. It's hard to do though because everything looks and tastes delicious!! The place is always light and airy and clean. The wait staff are always friendly and accommodating.

It's hard to choose just one!

I went savory: a chicken salad croissant (flaky, generously filled, with a side of bow-tie pasta salad and a creamy poppyseed slaw) and a pressed caprese-style panini with tomato, mozzarella, and basil grilled to a deep golden crisp. Both solid, satisfying lunches. On the drinks, the cold brew made with Joe Van Gogh beans was great--smooth and well-balanced. The iced café au lait was acceptable, nothing memorable but it did the job. The bakery case alone is worth a stop: cannoli, cranberry almond muffins, strawberry streusel coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and a rack of croissants. Friendly counter service and a comfortable spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or lingering with a coffee. Worth a return visit. Prices are very reasonable.

It was very crowded there's not a lot of seating inside, they do have outside sitting. I did like how the inside looked and they had their pastries out front. I couldn't tell what to order and spent a few minutes trying to figure the menu out without getting overstimulated by the time I could even think about asking questions they had a really big line. I ended up ordering a medium cappuccino which I know see from other reviews that my disappointment was not just me. we did get a waffle croissant thing which was not bad. It tasted stale. So it was a bit tougher and chewier or I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be ? I'm sure if it was fresh it would have been better. My daughter ended up getting a fruit smoothie and a hello kitty looking Madeline that was banana flavored she really liked that. There are no prices on the things that aren't at their coffee station area. I did ask the guy up front that it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to get, he just stared at me. Didn't say anything. And then corrected me when I asked for the waffle thing. Soo.. there's that. So I guess come here if you know what you want. Or come during non less busy hours. We only came by because it was across the street from our therapy appointment. But left more disappointed.. and I spent $22 with tip. Not even sure what I paid for or the prices it all happened so fast. So go here don't go here. We will probably try another place.
