Very sweet & helpful baristas/manager! Helped me decide what to order and manager also brought me his favorite to try which I ended up liking so much more. Smooth espresso & somewhat affordable considering the size. Tons of indoor seating and outlets to work and a beautiful mural. Would love to try some of their seasonal favorites!

Great coffee spot in Apex. Awesome vibe and lots of activity. They have couches in and out with lots of other seating. The outdoor area is covered and there was a minimal breeze. They offer wonderful selections of cold and hot teas and different types of coffees, including café con Leche, and cold Cuban coffee. They offer goodies you can snack on and get breakfast too. Overall, the place is nice. The barista that took my order was so helpful and recommended one of their signature iced teas and I absolutely loved it. It was a London fog mixed with some lavender and honey. I definitely will return to this location as I enjoyed my visit and was very comfortable.

3.5 stars The food was burnt but also tasted stale. The affogato flight was great. We also ordered a vanilla chai tea and it was incredibly watered down. It tasted like water with a hint of spice. I know it just opened so I'm willing to try to go back again and see if it's any better. The people were incredibly nice and helpful. Very spacious inside and lots of seating.

Came here on a Sunday morning and the place was busy! Nice options for breakfast sandwiches and coffee and teas. There's also a variety of ice cream flavors. Staff is very accommodating as I did not hear my name being called out when my order was ready and they made a fresh cup of coffee with coconut milk for me. Large outdoor seating available as well. Very clean space and parking is very close and convenient.

Just made my second visit to Foxtail, so it felt like the perfect time to drop a review. This place is 100% welcoming--super friendly staff and a beautifully designed space. There's plenty of seating, both indoors and out, and it's dog-friendly, which is always a win. The Wi-Fi? Fast and reliable.Parking? Plentiful and easy. I'm a pretty simple coffee drinker, so I stuck with a black coffee. It was solid--nothing to write home about--but at $3.25, it's a bit on the pricey side. That said, they do offer one free refill per visit, which helps balance things out. Will I be back? Absolutely. It's a great spot to chill, work, or meet up with friends (and pups).

I love the vibe and coffee at Foxtail! I came in on a rainy day and it was packed. All the seats on the outdoor patio were taken and full of bustling conversations as well as inside. They offer coffee drinks, loose leaf tea, pastries and gelato. I opted for a cappuccino and it was served in the cutest plant motif paper cup. The service was great and I enjoyed my cappuccino very much. I can see why this location is so popular!

This coffee shop is in a convenient location, is spacious and comfortable, and has a great menu of coffee and treats. On a hot day, we enjoyed the gelato. I look forward to trying more of the coffee offerings. There is plenty of space to meet up with friends and relax inside or on the patio. The service is friendly and helpful.

It's nice to have options in Apex, and we now have two coffee shops within 1/2 mile of each other downtown. This new spot is directly across from town hall. There will be more development in this area. The vibe is chill. Not overpowering lights (no it's not dark in there), friendly staff and PLENTY of seating both inside & out. Pretty cool setup with each table getting a small mechanical fan, yeah we need more of that in addition to the overhead ones. Pretty good variety of hot & cold drinks. My cortado was spot on. There are also sweet treats and snacks for those wanting a little something. And yeah, this is a dog friendly establishment t

Foxtail Coffee Co has their first location in North Carolina in Apex. It's a cute spot and I really like the outdoor space. It can get crowded so be prepared to wait. The longer line was a little bit confusing since there was no structure as to where it should go. I did like browsing the merchandise while standing in line. My husband grabbed a bag of coffee beans for home. For our drinks and food It was the egg, ham and cheese croissant with an iced chai latte for me and turkey sausage bagel sandwich with a latte for my husband. The food was not good, my sandwich was messy and the bagel was rock hard but I liked my chai. I'll have to return soon once it is more established and to try their gelato.

Wow did Apex need this coffee shop! The patio esp is wonderful and spacious to gather with a group of friends. I visited at least once a week. I highly recommend the affogato

Not a bad coffee shop but not my favorite either-- the ambiance was really cute inside and I loved the outdoor patio as well. It's definitely a great place to work which a lot of people were there doing. The service was good and the staff was nice. I tried a few of the ice cream flavors, the raspberry cheesecake was my favorite but I ended up getting an affogato flight. I loved the original flight flavor the most, I also tried the lemon affogato which was super tart and I would suggest a different flavor. The coffee was not bad but quite forgettable, we tried the pistachio matcha and a coconut mocha. They were good but I wouldn't come back. All in all-- this was a cute place and you should check it out & see what your thoughts are!

This was my first time trying a Foxtail Coffee and I really enjoyed it! I ordered a 24oz iced butterscotch oat latte with cheesy egg bites. Everything was delicious! The workers were very friendly. The shop is very spacious but still has a cozy vibe. They also have a large covered patio with plenty of seating options. The shop is also very dog friendly - dogs are allowed inside and the patio, and they make special dog treats as well! There is free wifi so it is a great spot to work as well. They had a gelato case but didn't have any out since it was the morning, but the flavors sounded great! I would recommend checking it out and I will be back!

Latte was nice. The server was friendly. Good seating. Terrible food - I might do better at a Quick Mart.

This little coffee joint from Florida is wonderful addition to downtown Apex. It's new so they're likely still working out some kinks.

The building itself really looks cool and I've always enjoyed eating here. The food always has a weird array of foods and options but it's always been good.

After opening the Yelp app, looking at reviews and pictures, we decided to give Scratch Kitchen & Taproom and go. NARRATIVE: Due to construction in the parking lot behind Scratch Kitchen (Temple Street), we ended up entering the restaurant from the N. Salem Street. And before going in, I noticed the signage above the building says; Tobacco & Mule Exchange. I'm not sure of the buildings history but the buildings interior has a story. Entering from the Salem Street side, you'll pass several shops and a unique bar / barber shop and Scratch Kitchen is located at the end of the hallway on the left. When we arrived at the podium, just outside the restaurant, we were promptly greeted and seated and within the minute, our server and his "shadow" server greeted us and introduced themselves. And after going over the menu and special meals for the day, our drink orders were taken. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Sushi Round as our appetizer; "Spicy ahi tuna with avocado, cucumber and wake over a seared sushi rice patty with edamame and fried green tomato. Topped with wasabi-miso crema and mirin-soy glaze." It was presented and tasted just as good as it sounds. For the main dish, I had to get the Shrimp & Grits; "Cheddar stone ground grits with seared shrimp and pork belly, peppers, onions and a creamy gochugaru sauce. Topped with green onions." And as you can see by not only my photos but others on Yelp, it was an amazing choice and amazing meal. I don't recall what my daughter had as her main but she said it was really good. SCENE: Scratch Kitchen & Taproom is located in the downtown area of Apex. Parking, especially when city workers are doing construction in the rear lot (Temple Street) can be a challenge. I also noted a man, who had too much to drink did order and get a ride from either an Uber or Lyft which is great if you don't want to drive or worry about parking. RECOMMENDATION(S): Scratch Kitchen is quant with that small town feel. Service from the staff was top notch and genuine and could be felt during our interacts with them. The food and its presentation were exemplary so yes, I'll highly recommend a visit. I know I'll be back.

My pick-up time was set for 5 minutes after I sent the order, which was pretty solid. Unfortunately, when I walked in to get my order, the cashier apologetically told me that they hadn't seen the ticket because it doesn't automatically print from website orders. If you do use the website, you should also call them to let them know that you ordered something, which kind of defeats the purpose of using the website I guess. To their credit, the cashier did offer me a free drink while I waited, so I appreciated that. I was a little worried that the location would be confusing since it's inside the Ford dealership, but it was actually really easy to find. Just walk in and look for the sign :) I grabbed a red hot and white hot (which are hot dogs, for the uninitiated!) and macaroni salad for my side. Despite the snafu described above, the food was prepared reasonably quickly, and I took it home to eat. Overall, I thought the hot dogs were pretty decent, but the macaroni salad lacked flavor. It tasted pretty fresh but needed salt or something else to elevate the taste. Overall, I would probably come back here, but maybe for an in-person meal, and I'd try something else. The turkey pesto panini sounded pretty good!

The hotel property is charming and thoughtfully designed, with a mix of tables, sofas, and comfortable chairs that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We arrived 3/4 past noon and chose to sit in the study/library area rather than the main dining room. I would strongly recommend this option. The study is quiet and comfortable, while the main restaurant area was noticeably louder. The proximity allows you to enjoy the ambiance without the noise. The menu offerings felt fairly typical for this style of restaurant. We tried the skillet cornbread. It was served room temperature and on the dry side. However, the whipped butter that accompanied it was excellent. Unfortunately, the cornbread was not warm enough to melt it, which would have improved the experience. The Italian wedding soup was very good and served properly hot. We also ordered the local lettuces salad with chicken. The salad itself was fresh, but the chicken was visibly dry and tasted the same. Interestingly, placing the chicken into the soup made it more enjoyable. The double cheeseburger was average. The bun struggled to hold together under the two patties and cheese. The flavor was acceptable but not memorable. Our server was exceptional. Attentive, professional, and gracious throughout the meal. The service elevated the the mediocre experience. Overall, Peck & Plume offers a beautiful setting and excellent service. For a quieter meal, request the study/library seating. While the food was satisfactory, it did not quite match the charm of the surroundings. Would we go again? Maybe. If we did, we would order different items. But, we would request Brian as the server.
