Easy to find, small interior but there is seating outdoors as well. I was promptly greeted by the friendly barista. She answered my questions about what people liked to order, then I promptly didn't order any but went with the Elvis (iced) she made it half sweet for me as I'm not big on really sweet drinks. Very friendly atmosphere and great drink. They do have plenty of specialty flavors, so I'll go back to give more a try. They have pastries from bakers dozen if you feel like something to eat with your coffee. Will return! read more

Notes Coffee House was a little difficult to find at first because the signage isn't very visible from the parking lot, but it was well worth the search. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and my husband got the Cherry Bomb (cherry amaretto latte), and both were excellent. They have a creative menu with lots of tempting options, so we'll definitely be back to try more. read more

Cute little music themed coffee shop. Friendly service with lots of fun flavor options, and every coffee is topped with a chocolate covered espresso bean. I had the Funny Valentine (honey and pistachio). The coffee was good but I wish it was a little bit hotter. I will definitely be back to try the Lavendar Haze. read more

Cute little coffee spot in downtown Apex! Indoor + outdoor seating, fun menu with lattes, matcha, energy drinks, and bakery treats. I tried the "Purple Rain" latte--a mix of blackberry and lavender with coconut milk. Delicious, not too sweet, and topped with a chocolate-covered coffee bean for the perfect little kick. Coffee cake was soft and yummy. Service was great--the lady working there was so humble and kind. Docking a star since they close too early (5pm Monday-Thursday, 3pm Friday & Saturday, closed Sundays), so evening coffee lovers can't enjoy this amazing place. read more

In the prevailing era of the sit-down coffee house ruling the roost, Notes loses some points. It's not hard to find, just not easy, because the entrance doesn't face the lot. Parking was a breeze on a Saturday morning and when I walked in, it was dead inside. However, while I waited for my pour over, the line formed into four people. The ladies manning (ladying?) the counter were pleasant enough for a quick smalltalk sesh. The person doing the pour over admitted to not being adept at it, and I could tell from her technique. They use Larry's Beans, which is a good choice, but not my favorite. The glaring elephant in the room is the lack of space inside. There are a few stools (2 with back support) but if you're not saddled by Winter chill, you can sit outside. This shop is in no way ideal for working. They get a favorable review, but not by much, and I don't mean to sound negative. It's just that I'm kind of a coffee snob and you've really got to wow me to hit 4 or more stars. This is a very small cafe located at the front of a music school. My grandson takes piano here so I have been many times. It is always clean and service is good. They have many flavors of coffee and drinks that are displayed. There are very few pastries offered. There are only 2 seats inside and they are metal bar stool's , not very comfortable, but there are a few tables outside with umbrellas. Due to the noise of the school, it's better outside. Prices are in line with other cafes. read more

Nice little coffee house. The coffee was delicious, and the servers were very friendly. Wish they had more seating inside, but they do have some more tables outside. Would definitely come here again. Loved the little chocolate bean they placed on the top of my drink. Made me smile and it was also delicious. :) read more

After trying many, many coffee shops in the area, I finally found the perfect option. I recommend if you happened to try notes when they first opened, to try again. The service is great, seasonal menus are delicious, and the quality is so good and the staff is so friendly! read more

Okay so this place is inside a rock school right in the very front. We ordered the purple rain and one of the specials and it was SO good!! This place definitely needs to get on the map because it's worth going to. Will definitely be back again! read more

This is a great little cafe! They have a small selection of baked goods and breakfast items and a large drink menu. I have really enjoyed the iced lattes from here! They always have quite a few seasonal drinks in rotation. The staff is always super friendly, too! read more

Very nice lady with excellent service. The place was very clean and the coffee is excellent. The reason I took off 1 star is because I was almost hit with a piece of metal falling off of one of the outside umbrellas. It looked like someone had tried to fix it with tape and, as always happens when something is fixed with tape, it failed to hold. Luckily it hit my phone instead of my hands or head. Still worth a try though. Look for the Rock 'n Roll High School sigh. Same space. read more

Best coffee you will have around in Apex with the friendliest service. They gave me fast, clean service and I couldn't have asked for better. My husband and I were looking for a small business coffee shops as we were traveling through the area and I am so glad we stopped at Notes Coffee House. I will definitely be back! read more
