I'm not sure if I would come back here. I'm sure if I came on a non busy day and not peak time it would have been a better experience. It was very crowded there's not a lot of seating inside, they do have outside sitting. I did like how the inside looked and they had their pastries out front. I couldn't tell what to order and spent a few minutes trying to figure the menu out without getting overstimulated by the time I could even think about asking questions they had a really big line. I ended up ordering a medium cappuccino which I know see from other reviews that my disappointment was not just me. we did get a waffle croissant thing which was not bad. It tasted stale. So it was a bit tougher and chewier or I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be ? I'm sure if it was fresh it would have been better. My daughter ended up getting a fruit smoothie and a hello kitty looking Madeline that was banana flavored she really liked that. There are no prices on the things that aren't at their coffee station area. I did ask the guy up front that it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to get, he just stared at me. Didn't say anything. And then corrected me when I asked for the waffle thing. Soo.. there's that. So I guess come here if you know what you want. Or come during non less busy hours. We only came by because it was across the street from our therapy appointment. But left more disappointed.. and I spent $22 with tip. Loved it. Went later in the day so there wasn't a big selection of pastries but the iced toasted almond latte was worth going for. Loved the coffee itself and the syrup put it over the top. Hard to find almond flavored syrup- will definitely go back. The cherry mocha wasn't as flavorful. A vanilla custard filled bun was shared with my friend and was tasty. Well, I just bought a cappuccino at this coffee shop, and it was pretty awful. I had to ask them to remove a layer of foamy milk just to be able to see the actual cappuccino under it. I had to take off another half an inch or so of cream just to get to the coffee part myself and once I tasted whatever was under it, it was not great at all. The issue is that, after the tip, I just spent five dollars on a cappuccino, and being that this is a treat I expected it to at least taste like a cappuccino, not some burnt tasting coffee with an over-foamed top. Please go check out some of the other roasters/coffee shops in the area, who know how to make these drinks the proper way, and try and emulate that. Clearly, this is a popular place, it has a nice enough vibe, but the one thing you come here for should at least be consistently good to make a person want to return. read more

Fairly busy. Looks like a great place. Lots of chatter and laughter with seating inside and out. Nice decor with a commercial coffee roaster on display. It looks like they use it. The first thing I noticed is there is no gluten free cakes or cookies or treats available. Nada. That's disappointing to me since I wanted to treat myself this morning. I ordered a macadamia nut latte. They did have plant based milk selections. I was handed a beeper. That worked well but I like when my name is called out. I have been in this shopping center so many times and i can't believe i didn't know about this coffee shop sooner! The inside was so warm and welcoming and there was lots of seating inside and outside. What i loved most about this spot was all the delicious pastries they had to choose from. Everything they had sounded so good! I chose the adorable hello kitty shaped banana flavored madeleine and a raspberry white chocolate croissant, that i took to go. The also had another case that had cakes in them. But there were so many different croissant flavors that it was so hard to choose. I also ordered a small iced toasted s'mores latte, which was about $4.50 if i'm not mistaken. I typically like my drinks more sweet, but this drink had a stronger coffee taste in my opinion, but i still really enjoyed the drink. The only thing is that I really wish that their pastries would've had prices. I would've bought more had the prices been listed. I didn't want to bother the cashier of having to ask the price of certain items. read more

Came here again to grab some coffee and a bite to eat, and I had a better experience. My latte was prepared quickly and was tasty, and I enjoyed the chocolate au pain that I ate. I will say that when I visited a few days back, I had to turn around and leave because the line was insanely long. I stopped in for a quick dose of caffeine before starting my work day. The chai tea latte did not disappoint. Service was quick although there were quite a few patrons there. I like that they have a buzzer to let you know when your coffee is ready. The staff was friendly. Decor is coffee-themed mostly. Crema's decor includes multiple coffee displays, pastry options and wooden tables & chairs. The environment is cozy and quiet. It's great for meeting a friend, working remotely or just reading a book. The staff was attentive and helpful when I placed and picked up my order. I ordered the iced praline latte and it was delightful. I wish that I ordered the 24 oz instead of the 16 oz drink. I also ordered the chocolate chip cookie scone. The scone was scrumptious! Looking for a new spot today for a treat and iced coffee. This was a positive stop and enjoyable. My friend ordered a praline latte and I ordered a plain iced coffee. We tried the scone and vanilla cake. The cake is a light sponge filled with incredible vanilla cream. The cake was moist and lovely. The chocolate chip scone was all that and more. We will be back. Visited on a Monday morning and was surprised to see how packed it was. This is a small shop, cozy but not a lot of seating. If you plan to do work you'll have to get lucky finding a table. The coffee and pastry were very good. One of the workers had a large attitude. It appeared she was training someone new, so maybe she was just having a bad day :) Overall, a decent place that I'll probably visit again if I'm at H Mart next door. I love this place and would give a 5-star if things wouldn't always be sold out. I drove over 30 min to purchase a variety of pastries the first time which I got lucky around 10:30am because I was able to get a strawberry croissant (recommend), almond croissant, almond cream roll, cheesecake pound cake, sweet cream bun (recommend) and the bigger pull apart cream bun (highly recommend). The second time I went here around 11:30am, most of the pastries were sold out....I am not sure how much often/how much/or if they do restock on their pastries for the day because I was disappointed to find out they were sold out of more than half of their items and wasn't given a "I'm sorry we are currently out but will have some more within "X" of minutes/hours." I would highly recommend for anyone who loves baked pastries that aren't too sweet. I will likely continue to come back and try their other goods and hopefully a few drinks. read more

The rating of 4 is mostly because I didn't find anything g extraordinary about this place for the prices they charge. Im not a coffee drinker but some friends wanted to meet here and I had never been so I was excited to check it out, plus I saw they had some bakery items and by looking at other reviews on Yelp I determined that I would probably be pretty satisfied. Pulling up, I realized that it was on an upper level of the Plaza and you had to climb stairs to get up there (this sounds worse than it actually was) the store is cute enough, nicely decorated, and seemed clean. The staff were helpful, positive and responsive the customers. My guess is that going at 3pm was a little late to take advantage of most of the baked goods since many of the baskets were empty and I was staring at signs of "what might have been" had I gotten there earlier! since I'm not a coffee drinker, I got 2 small hot chocolates (1 for me, 1 for my son) and a small pound cake. This cost me just over &10! YIKES! I would say what many others have said, they are a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, it was a nice place to meet but it definitely won't be some place I frequent. read more

I had Crema 2 days in a row during my visit to the Research Triangle area. On my first visit, I had a coffee, almond croissant, and Hazelnut fulled filled bear. My boyfriend brought his reusable coffee cup and was given a discount which was awesome! I will need to bring mine the next time I go. The almond croissant is large enough to split, and definitely tasted fresh and delicious. The Nutella filled bear was not only adorable (basically why I had to try it!) but also tasty if you like Nutella. On my second visit, we just got drop coffees and the staff is super attentive and notice that the coffee container was low before I even asked! Great service and excellent shop. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area. I am looking forward to trying out their boba teas! read more
