The baristas were amazing & so patient with my friend and I while we tried to figure out what to order - my first experience with a K-Dog as well and it was so delicious, not sure how it compares to the real deal but I loved it. Coffee was on the sweeter side but the barista warned me as such so I was able to modify it beforehand and it was perfect! Love that this spot closes later too so we were able to come after work and enjoy it without feeling rushed. Saw this place on TikTok and had to come try it out while in town for work. If you like pistachio (and not just the Dubai chocolate bars) then the Dubai chocolate latte is a must try. It was very pistachio forward which I liked and crunching the chocolate into the cup was cool. I also tried the biscoff cookie latte which was good but felt sweeter than the Dubai latte. The cafe itself is very cute, could maybe sit 20-25 people comfortably. They have a (free) sticker bowl by the condiments bar which I thought was a cute touch. Service was good - I can totally see this being a long wait on the weekend. I only had a couple people in front of me and waited nearly ten minutes for my coffees. Stopped by for a quick bite and really enjoyed it! I tried the mochi donuts in black sesame and injeolmi flavors, both soft and chewy with a great texture. I also got the K hot dog that was half beef and half mozzarella. Staff were very thoughtful and pointed out how to hold it so the toppings wouldn't fall off. I went here for the viral Dubai crackle cup latte. So was it Hype or Hallelujah? Definitely hype. Let's get into it. I was Friday around noon and yes there was a line. I waited about 35 minutes from car to counter. The service was good. The baristas seemed overwhelmed but were working as hard as they could to get the orders filled. It's a small shop with about 6 tables, a couch and some board games and coloring to pass the time. Now for the famous drink. First, lower your expectations. . It is definitely more pistachio nut forward than chocolate. Not too sweet. Tastes like a pistachio latte with the chocolate shell that we used to get on ice cream cones. If you're expecting the chocolate to melt - don't. it won't melt into the drink. You have to eat it if you want chocolate taste. it also had a few too many pistachios as they kept getting stuck in the straw making it difficult to drink. I would have loved to try some of the other menu items but they were sold out of every donut. (it was around 12:30 p). Note to shop owner: You have a viral drink happening - STOCK up! Most people were disappointed that they didn't have any donuts. They did have the crusted hotdogs and cheese sticks, but I don't eat either. If you're looking for a quiet, quaint, and cozy cafe to read a good book, chat with a friend, or do some laptop work, this is a great place for that! I went with a friend and got their OG hotdog and it was really what I wanted. Yes, from the outside it looked like a corn dog, but the flour is not the same. The texture is different and all in all, it was very flavorful and filling for what I was looking for. They also had a variety of mochi donuts - also all delicious looking. I got the Black Sesame latte to try and it was really yummy. It was a little too sweet for me, but that was my fault, I didn't ask for the sweetness to be lessened so I'll ask next time. I have been wanting to try this place since I first saw a Raleigh foodie on IG post about them. My family and I had lunch in Cary so since we were in the area, I thought it was a perfect place to get dessert. The cafe is so cute when you walk in with a little couch to sit and a bookcase full of books and trinkets. They have a display of the things they offer right at the front counter so it's easy to see what they have. Unfortunately they had sold out of all the donuts by the time we got there so we weren't able to try those this time. We did get the fruit bingsoo, mitsugaru and almond croffle and chocolate croffle for my kids, and iced taro latte and white chocolate mocha for my parents. I also got the sweet potato yakgua for a to go treat because they're my favorite Korean snack. The bingsoo is my favorite Korean dessert so hands down gets a 10/10. It is shaved iced with condensed milk and was filled with strawberries, mango, blueberries on top and little pieces of mochi. The shaved ice was sweet and creamy and the fruit added its own sweetness and tart flavor so it balanced out. Mochi gets a little hard when it's cold so it was a bit hard and chewier but it was actually really good with the bingsoo and gave it texture. I love that they put fruit at the bottom and top so you have enough to finish the dessert. The croffles were delicious as well. They were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The chocolate one was of course the kids favorite, very sweet and the whipped cream added a lightness to it. My favorite was the mitsugaru and almond one. I love almonds and anything with a light nutty flavor, and that's exactly what it gave me, nutty and sweet. The taro latte also gave a sweet and nutty flavor as well, and that's what I was expecting after reading about taro because I've never actually had it so it was a surprise for me and now I realize I love taro lol. It paired perfectly with the croffle. Although it was expensive (my dad spent about $50-$60) , I think it's a nice place to get a sweet treat once in awhile. I'll definitely come back here just to have the taro latte and bingsoo. Hopefully I'll be able to try the mochi donuts next time! read more
