I always see loads of cars in their parking lot so I had to try this place out. My wife as nd I stopped by on a Friday morning at as bout 8:30 and this place was hopping busy. They specialize in made to order coffee drinks and have a nice food menu as well. When you get here you better know what you want by the time you get to the counter or there might be a revolt. The waiting line to order is long but moves along. I decided to try their breakfast sandwich on a bagel. It had eggs, bacon, sausage, cheddar cheese, and MAPLE SRIRACHA, It tasted great

This is such a cute café, and I loved getting to know a little background about it while I visited. I love the fact that they host an annual 5K to support research for ALS. I got the jammy egg toast which had the perfect amount of spice, and honestly left me fuller than I expected. The espresso mini donuts were heavenly. I'm not a big fan of donuts, but the texture on these were perfect in my opinion. To drink, I got the Jeanne Capp with espresso, honey, and oat milk. It was perfect, almost too good! The barista's were friendly as well! I would definitely visit again the next time I'm in the Raleigh area

Came here for lunch on a grab and go, and tried the seasonal cinnamon sugar latte (hot and tasty), cinnamon sugar mini donuts (FRESH and yummy) and the Chicken and Pesto Sandwich with Kettle Chips. I was very satisfied with this coffee shop. It was pretty busy on a midweek afternoon, but also efficient. Such a cutesy layout with some nice merch when you enter. Friendly neighborhood staff will guide you on what to select if you're unsure so stop in when you can.

Great little spot! Tina of seating, indoors and out. I loved the protein bowl- generous portion and a lot going on- I only wish they'd replaced the raw red onions with pickled onions because who needs that much raw onion? My friend loved her veggie sandwich, which included the aforementioned pickled onions. The blueberry hibiscus tea was nice but a little boring (a too much ice). The staff was friendly, and it's an order at the counter kind of place. I'd definitely stop back by!

Ordered the protein bowl at lunch. Food came out quickly even though they were busy. Employees were friendly. Phenomenal bowl -- great presentation and everything perfectly cooked. The egg was jammy on the inside, good chicken, perfect avocado. Lots of flavor. On other visits have had sandwiches and donuts. Love that there is a gluten free sweet option. Great place.

If you asked me before today if I believe in love at first sight, I would have said no. That is until I found Sola Cafe. A charming coffee shop that specializes in creative coffees and smoothies as well as wonderful breakfast and lunch sammies...and friends, they're know for mini donuts served by the half dozen or dozen. Delish! Their staff clearly reflect their commitment to community and friendship...warm, inviting, friendly, and charming...just like the cafe. There's dog-friendly outdoor seating nearly 360 around the cafe as well as a warm and intimate indoor dining area. Everything by about Sola is thoughtful, intentional, and charming. And did I mention they sponsor a 5k every year to raise money for ALS research in honor of their founder who passed from ALS just a few years ago. Yep...there's everything to love about Sola. They won me over the very first time. Just go! Fall in love! I did!!

The color of my iced latte really threw me off at first because it was so light but the coffee still tasted great. I got the maple cinnamon iced latte, per the barista's recommendation since it's the most popular drink, and it had a good balance of flavor and espresso. I was shocked by the small amount of ice that it came with since I didn't request it, which is not a complaint at all because that means more to drink! I also tried some of the lavender latte, a seasonal special, and it had great floral notes that complemented the espresso. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and if the weather is good, I highly recommend the outdoor patio.

It had been a long time since I visited this place, so my husband and I decided to go on NYE. We came right before 11 am, which is when they start switching to lunch. However, we were already in line, so we were able to order breakfast. The line was out the door. There isn't a lot of room to line up inside. I feel like they need a bigger location because it is packed in there, and the tables are quite close together. I got the iced eggnog latte, a side of sausage, and the Nutella and banana toast. Everything was really good. My husband and I also split some mini cinnamon sugar donuts holes. They're quite small but tasty. The staff kept coming around to pick up plates we were done with, and I would prefer to just take them all when we're done to the dishes area. It feels like they just want you out of there to free up another table. Nevertheless, I like the food and drinks and would love to try their lunch/milkshakes sometime.

Sola Coffee Cafe is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots in Raleigh. I love starting my day with their Staff Eggwich and avo smash--both are fresh and delicious. And the Jeanne Capp? Absolutely perfect every time. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and peaceful, making it the ideal spot to enjoy your coffee and soak up some sunshine. The service here is fantastic--friendly and attentive, which makes every visit a great experience. If you're in Raleigh and need a cozy place with amazing coffee and tasty bites, Sola Coffee Cafe is where you want to be!

Usually I've had good experiences with sola, but I was quite disappointed today. I had my boyfriend pick up some breakfast this morning and I requested the Gonza sandwich but with cheddar instead of pepper jack cheese because that's just my preference. He told me the woman at the counter said they can't sub cheese but it wouldn't be a problem because pepper jack isn't spicy. Well I got the sandwich and after two bites, I was sweating and my mouth was burning profusely from the salsa on the sandwich. No where on the menu does it allude to this being a spicy dish. I don't mind spice, but this was intense. I genuinely couldn't eat it and had to throw the whole thing away. I just think it's interesting that the lady said to not worry about the spice in the cheese but didn't mention the salsa. The sandwich was also very very small and I wasn't expecting that. There are other things sola is good for so I don't want to say it isn't worth going to, but I was quite upset about this experience.

This protein bowl is available during lunch hours and it's sooo good!

I love this place! If I could come here every day I would. The protein shake is delicious! The breakfast bowl is awesome! The coffee is tasty!! I love the people that work there they are always so nice and help me with all the things I order because I bring my baby boy in to get my work done. It's a perfect place to detach from socials .

There's so many things on the menu that I still want to try. When we first got to the restaurant we were interested in sitting outside but the host told us the spot that would fit us wasn't available or in the section. However, she went out of her way to talk to her manager and they accommodated us. Off to a great start service wise! That great service continued throughout our meal. Our waiter was super attentive and everything was brought out really quickly. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, both inside and out. It's a very classy spot; very upscale mid-century. I had the stuffed French toast crepe with berries added (egg battered crepe dusted with a cinnamon spice blend, filled with cheesecake custard, topped with maple syrup and house-made whipped cream). Phenomenal. I'm still thinking about that crepe a few weeks later now...I also ordered the Strawberry Citrus Smash (tangerine ginger iced tea, strawberry syrup, lime juice, served iced). Also delicious and not overly sweet. Everything here is great. I highly recommend checking it out. My oneeeee issue is that they don't take reservations. I'm sorry but I don't want to wait around for over an hour to get a table for brunch on the weekend. It's really unfortunate because I've been here with friends before and we've had to leave to go to another restaurant because of such a long wait time. The only reason I was able to try this place after that was because I went during a weekday when family was in town visiting. Many of my friends have jobs that aren't very flexible and busy family lives, so the weekends are the best times to go; but at the same time they don't have a lot of time to spare to waiting. PRESS if you see this - I highly recommend that you reconsider your reservation policy, at least for the weekends!

She brought me iced water and gave me time to look at the menu. I wanted to try so many things and I was too optimistic about ordering 3 things and finishing them myself. Good thing I only ordered 2 things! An order of fried catfish with home fries and one egg. And a biscuit with sausage gravy. The fried catfish was salted and well fried. It tasted delicious for my first bite! The home fries were basically cut potatoes, but they weren't very fried or flavored. I wished I ordered the side of apple sauce instead. The biscuit and sausage was good, but a bit too much for one person after eating a separate order already. Definitely bring more people so you can try more things. Also, I wished I had asked for sausage gravy on the side so I can try the biscuit on its own first as well. Furthermore, I would have more time to eat the catfish so I wasn't worried about the biscuit getting soggy. Christy came to check up on me every now and then. The place was buzzing with people and decorations so I didn't feel so alone. When it was time to pay, Christy brought me the check for me to pay at the cash register. Both Christy and the cashier were so friendly! The restaurant does have a women's and a mens restroom if needed.
