We went around 9 on a Saturday and had about a 10 minute wait! I would 100% go again if it's not busy I do not know that the coffee shop is part of the leasing office for the apartments, so a lot of tenants were there also. This was a unique structure, but it didn't impact the service or seating. The space is very cute and we didn't have any issue finding parking. Not to mention, the coffee was delicious!!

Thousand hills might be one of my new favorite coffee spots in RTP! I love how spacious it is in side and how they have lots of indoor and outdoor seating. My friends and I came on a weekday afternoon and it was pretty busy inside. I ordered the periwinkle matcha and it was absolutely delicious! I love how a lot of there drinks can be latte or matcha. I ordered a coffee to do as well to drink the next day and it was very good the next day. Also, the staff was also so friendly! I will definitely be coming back

Cardamom matcha latte with a buttered and a chocolate croissant

Excellent customer service. Elegant exterior and foliage. Bright spacious interior. Flaky croissants and decent coffee. Adequate parking. Sound level is lower making it a reasonable place to work or unwind. Overall, a good choice for coffee and pastries!

Such a cute coffee shop to study at! The baristas are so friendly and talkative! They helped me decide on a tiramisu latte and it was so yummy. It reminded me of an iced mocha with a delicious homemade whipped cream on top. I would have enjoyed a stronger espresso taste but nonetheless thought it was great. The chocolate croissant was VERY chocolatey. If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll love it. The inside is super cute and clean with tons of spaces to sit. It gets pretty busy but if you can find a spot to sit, it's a great spot to study/work.

Nice floor-to-ceiling windows that let in lots of natural light

Visited Thousand Hills on a summer Sunday evening, about 30 minutes before closing. The 218 Southport Dr address on Yelp is incorrect; it's located on Athletic Ln. It's next to a leasing office and close to condominiums/apartments -- really tucked away and I wouldn't have ever noticed it had it not been for reading Yelp reviews. The spacious indoor seating had a good number of patrons that Sunday evening. I found a seat at the counter along the floor-to-ceiling windows. While the overall atmosphere was pleasant with soft music playing in the background, I did note that this may not always be ideal for deep focus or quiet studying. Because the space is large and invites a larger number of patrons to enjoy their coffee indoors, there is more collective chatter (and just one or two loud patrons would be enough to make it difficult to concentrate, but this is not establishment-specific as it could be an issue at any larger shop.) I ordered the strawberry lavender matcha, which was very refreshing. The hint of lavender was a lovely touch. I also treated myself to a childhood favorite -- a Rice Krispie treat. The space has a modern, inviting vibe with a variety of seating options--counter-like seating by the floor-to-ceiling windows, cozy sofas, a long communal table with lamps, and spots near the baristas. It's stylish yet comfortable. I'd definitely return. It seems like the perfect place to catch up with a friend over coffee--especially in the fall, when the outdoor seating would be enjoyable (it was way too hot for outdoor seating during my visit). First-timer tip: They do not accept cash.

Salted brown butter latte!

The coffee is great, the people are very kind, and I love the cozy atmosphere! Amazing place! There are not many coffee shops that I will come back to in Raleigh but this is one I will always come to!

Vibes are immaculate. I've been here a few times now, including right when it first opened. I got a latte and Nutella walnut cookie which was fresh and memorable. Will def return when deciding where to relax and catch up with friends for a couple hours

Banana bread latte and chocolate croissant

This is quickly becoming my favorite coffee spot! The banana bread latte is simply fantastic and the chocolate croissant was delicious, too! The atmosphere keeps you there (in my case, much longer than anticipated) because of the laidback vibe and ease of working or enjoying company. My espresso was burnt the first time and the barista explained to me the reason for delay, then made a new espresso drink for me. Love the staff, love the selections for food and drinks, love the vibe inside. Amazing place!

On a work trip, I saw Thousands Hills Coffee & decided to stop in. I'm so glad I did! The coffee was SO GOOD. I'm craving it, I need to come back. The breakfast sandwich was so delicious also. I loved the relaxing atmosphere and there are so many places to sit or work from. There's also an outside terrace area. The service was quick if you're needing to get on your way! I can't wait to go back.

Hot Honey Ham and Swiss Croissant

Love a butterscotch latte and Thousand Hills honey butterscotch latte was really good! I also had the hot honey ham and swiss croissant! The barista's were super friendly and the place is really cute! It's perfect for a quick catchup with friends, enjoying a book, or working if you need a change of scenery. Will definitely be back!

Barista recommended the Salted Maple latte and it did not disappoint. I asked for just one pump of syrup and they made it perfectly. The salt was a great touch. My daughter got Matcha and said it was the best she has had since Japan. Atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. The space is light and airy. Plenty of room for small group meetings.

Thousand Hills Coffee at 218 Southport Dr in Morrisville is a fantastic find! Tucked beside the Novel apartments, it's a cozy spot with a welcoming vibe--ideal for getting work done or just unwinding. The staff is super friendly, happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Plenty of comfy seating options let you settle in, whether you prefer a quiet corner or the small bar area. I tried the house Hot Chocolate and Iced Brew, and both were delicious.

Did you know that the new Morrisville location is actually in Pennsylvania? That's what the corporate website shows under locations :(

Yes there is a location in Pennsylvania but there is also one here in Morrisville off Southport. Each location is privately owned.

Do they serve food?

Hey there, we’re starting slow on the food it so for now it’s just a ham and cheese croissant. We should have a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito rolling out in the coming weeks. Baby steps for now! But thank you for your interest and please… Read more

There are tables inside and out (when the weather is good they even open the garage door so that it morphs into one large space), comfortable and ample seating, and even some fun multilevel bench style seats inside allowing for you to work, hang out with a small group, or even just quickly grab some coffee. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. The coffee options were plentiful, with options for whatever your preferences may be whether you're more of a coffee enthusiast looking for lighter roast to taste all the notes, or enjoy more flavored and decadent drinks. One thing that was an incredibly exciting surprise the last time I went were the whole beans they had for sale from Fritz Coffee (imported from Korea im pretty sure). I had to grab a bag despite them being a bit pricey as they were freshly roasted too (price was expected for something like that). A slight down point for me though was the food, got a couple chocolate chip cookies and they were very much not worth it. Overall though would highly recommend and will likely return, though do need to be careful of timings as there can be quite the rush due to high demand.

The yogurt was a large portion and was very good. Coffee was a little strong and bitter, probably designed to have additives rather than being drank black. Pairing with the yogurt made it taste a lot better though. Service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It was a bit noisy inside, just because there were a lot of customers and everyone was talking. The store is clean and bright with a neat little riser on one side. My only complaint was that there were no refills. That's unusual for black, drip coffee.

It's super spacious, with tons of natural light, high ceilings, and both indoor and outdoor seating. The outside patio has cushy lounge seats, perfect for soaking up sunshine (though it's right by the highway, so some outdoor spots come with a bit of traffic noise during rush hours). This place is a dream for remote work. Every table is so spread out (esp outdoor) that you don't overhear other conversations, no loud music, and sunlight streaming in from every corner. Service was quick and thoughtfully accommodating. I appreciated that they bring food in a to-go container if you're sitting outside, so you're not stuck carrying plates back. And bonus points for their commitment to using sustainable packaging. The coffee was quite delicious! Jubala Coffee actually makes a type of specialty beans roasted just for F&F. Their drink menu is on the simpler side, but they usually have a couple of seasonal lattes, and everything I tried tasted great. Food-wise, it's a gem: generous portions, very reasonably priced, and flavorful. It reminded me a bit of Fount Kitchen in its "organic, healthy" vibe, but with more non-vegetarian options and even better flavor. There's plenty of parking right out front, but sadly they close at 2:30pm, so it's more of a morning or lunch spot. All in all, a wonderful place for a morning work sesh or a work lunch in style!

It's honestly one of the first welcoming beacons you see after getting through TSA and heading down to the gates. It's a refreshing change from the usual airport lineup, especially compared to the typical Starbucks. The drink options are fantastic, with a great variety that goes beyond your standard coffee, breakfast menu, and you can really taste the quality. That said, the ordering process can be a bit confusing. It's not always clear whether you should order at the tablet or directly with staff, which can slow things down a bit, especially during busy travel times. The sitting is also limited. It might be better to grab and go. It does get busy, lines are pretty common, but honestly, that's to be expected. When you're at the airport, caffeine is non-negotiable, and this spot is clearly a favorite. Overall, a great stop for quality coffee before a flight, just plan a little extra time. I will likely be back during my travels.
