Greeted by the friendliest barista, I made myself comfy on the couch and watched her work her magic. My " not too sweet" mocha had beautiful latte art. Our breakfast ended up coming out before coffee, which made no sense. I had to ask about the coffees before they were actually made. When the girl came from morning ritual She brought out my husbands, hot cappuccino but my mocha out iced and I immediately said I don't drink cold coffee and I did an order iced. Instead of being apologetic, and stating that she would change it, she just snatched the iced coffee and walked away. That was such a strange encounter. It was rude and I got no apology, nor did I get any explanation of what would happen next. I let my server know to ensure I was still going to get a coffee because I can't live without my coffee in the morning! When my Moca loved her honey, oat milk, coffee came I took a sip and was glad i didn't flip out and say "forget the coffee" (as I was already done with breakfast by the time in arrived) because the drink was delicious! If I'm ever back in the area (I was staying in Raleigh but decided to take a little detour into Durham that morning) I'll come to only Morning Ritual to see if I can change this 3 star review for service issues into a 5. The beautiful lady that works there gave me their 2 menu's, the regular menu and the spring menu. They have so many options, from Crepes, to Paninis, to breakfast to lunch to dessert. I sat at a table for a few minutes to browse them. I decided on a hot Hazelnut Brown Sugar Latte and a slice of Banana Bread. Both sooo good!! My first sip of my latte and I was so happy. It's super cute inside of Milo's Cafe. Plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. Even the ladies room is super cute. I'll definitely be back.

I came here on a week day and it was packed but the kitchen seemed steady. Their service is very stream lined with pagers for food orders. There is a lot of seating but it also seems to be a place where a good chunk of people come to work. They have a library inside as well and the books at the time were all $3 ea. Today I came and it's a Sunday. As expected they were SLAMMED. Line to the door of people waiting and line to the door of people ordering. I still got my coffee in less than 5 min. People waiting on food were getting theirs in similar time. The staff was killing it! They have a large selection of baked goods (lots of laminated dough), fast casual breakfast & lunch, and a huge coffee menu. They also have gluten free options for food and about a dozen gf/df baked goods. They said they have separate prep space and changed gloves for gluten free food but it's a shared oven. Parking seems like it would be nonexistent on a busy day. I was there at noon on a Sunday. I like how they straight up turned a house into a shop. I like how it was so peaceful inside and outside. I like their event schedule. I like the focus on books. I like the ultra fast wifi and nice pastries. What I'm no fan of is the very obvious target market of moms, leaving me feel a bit left out.
