Fable is becoming one of my favorite coffee shop and book store. I love the cozy vibes and it's small but offers a lot. Inside the shop there is some sitting both downstairs and upstairs. Outside has a good amount of sitting and plenty of shade. I've been enjoying trying their monthly specialty drinks. I also like how there are non dairy milk options. There is also a few book clubs, which is cool. Parking feels limited at first but I've learned that you can park in the back back on the grass or the the left side going into the back. read more

Perfectly fine coffee shop that's totally a house. Charming set-up on a strip of road where homeowners are obsessed with the American flag. It's 1776 over there. Parking seems like it would be nonexistent on a busy day. I was there at noon on a Sunday. I like how they straight up turned a house into a shop. I like how it was so peaceful inside and outside. I like their event schedule. I like the focus on books. I like the ultra fast wifi and nice pastries. What I'm no fan of is the very obvious target market of moms, leaving me feel a bit left out. It's super in-your-face. But hey, I guess stay-at-home mothers need stuff to do too. Can't see myself returning, so I wish them all the luck in the world. Best, A. read more

This is a truly lovely place. Beautifully designed and renovated with thoughtful decor and calming colors... lovely books and little corners to sit, sip and read everywhere you turn. Clean, crisp spaces that encourage relaxation and reading or cozy connections. Delicious drinks and snacks, plenty of space to spread out indoors or outside. My only critique would be to please add more used books! :) Well done! read more

Super cute bookstore and cafe downtown Holly Springs. So many great rooms to enjoy your coffee. I had a latte and cinnamon bun, and my husband had a salted caramel latte and breakfast sandwich. Enjoyed everything. The coffee was served beautifully in a real cup - bonus points! The lattes could have been a tad warmer but we both still really enjoyed them. The cinnamon bun was warm and toasted with the perfect amount of frosting for me. The breakfast sandwich was good - a little light on the bacon. read more

We were finally able to go to this cute, eclectic bookstore and cafe today! The location is perfect and within walking distance for residents of downtown Holly Springs. Downstairs you'll find lattes and pastries, with a small dining room for relaxing and enjoying your treats. There is also some nice outdoor seating. They have a small children's section, a section with popular reads, and some fun gifts. Climb the steep stairs (it's truly a climb!) and you'll be in a wonderful quiet area for reading, which includes even more books. Need to work? There's also a large library table that's perfect for getting stuff done. What an amazing, unique place! Shop local! read more

Fable is a lovely local bookstore! The space is adorable, so well thought out, and the staff was incredibly kind. We enjoyed treats and drinks from the cafe while we walked around. Each area of the store was cozy and had cute details and decor with labeled sections for ease of finding your perfect book. They had fun book accessories as well, and lots of spaces to sit and read or work or meet, both indoors and outside. We also appreciated their community events and how welcoming it is! Love this place! I'm so glad they are here and becoming a part of our community. I have signed up for a book club and have bought several books already. Coffee is great. I have enjoyed the blind dates with a book. Plus they have a bunch of accessories such as pens and highlighters. They also have bookish stickers and other merchandise. This bookstore cafe is exactly what Holly Springs needed!!!! This spot is in a charming house right off Main Street. The parking lot is tight but there is additional parking on Center Street. Cute and cozy and a book lovers haven!!!! The pasties are sourced by La Farm so you know they are DELICIOUS! Hands down my favorite spot to get coffee in Holly Springs. read more

Amazing place, stopped by to have some coffee. We ordered 2 cortados which were perfect! We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, will add that there is seating inside, outside tables with umbrellas and in the front there are rocking chairs! it's a very cute place and I appreciate some of their sourcing, but we ended up paying $20 for two lattes. there were a ton of loose grounds in the bottom. we asked for honey in them because anything else makes me feel sick, but they ended up just using a honey flavored syrup. I wish I would've known there was no real honey or I wouldn't had added it and wasted so much read more
