I saw someone post about this coffee shop on TikTok and had to come visit. It wasn't what I expected walking in, it was SO MUCH CUTER! It gave Speakeasy vibes with a touch of a study. I had their seasonal flavor of Gingerbread cookie Latte (hot) and it was everything I thought it would be and more when I saw the flavor. It tasted like gingerbread cookie in a cup. I loved it. I also had a ham and cheese croissant, and she warmed it up for me so you know it was even more delicious because who doesn't love a warm, crusty croissant. It was such a great portion, perfectly flaky, and kept me satisfied for my road trip to Va and more. The service and vibe here will keep me coming back over and over. It's definitely a hidden gem with a hidden gem, because there's also a speakeasy inside of it! So cool! Go check it out! I can't wait to return!

I was on a morning stroll downtown and stopped for an oat milk chia tea. Honestly it was the perfect sweetness, I didn't have to add anything to it and it came out at a drinkable temperature. This place is super adorable, they have indoor and outdoor seating that's both pet friendly. And the library is also a nick nack shop with locally made goods. Friendly service, there's usually one barista who makes everything fresh so there may be a well worth it wait.

Love the ambiance and drinks at little native. There is a cool secret hidden room as well. Baristas are always friendly.

I was so excited to visit this little gem! There were some pros and cons. The vibe and aesthetic were dark green, cozy, and giving rainy day. It was on the smaller side, so we didn't feel comfortable staying too long as it was filling up. Unfortunately, I ordered a vanilla cold brew and added cream and sugar - and it was fairly foul. I was able to stomach a few sips and had to toss it. I'm unsure how it was so bad. It was also Saturday around 9:45 AM and they only had one ham and cheese croissant, when we wanted two. The shopping area was so cute and had some great local goodies (I actually got a fabulous little mug!) but it's on the shelves behind the chairs so I couldn't actually access most of it. I wouldn't discourage from visiting but unfortunately, I will not rush to return!

My son and I roam the Triangle looking for the best coffee spots. He actually found this one which is located just east of downtown Raleigh. It's nice, quaint and a bit eclectic. They have a speakeasy room through a hidden door in the bookshelf. Another patron mentioned that people reserve them for coffee and tea tastings. Interesting. Anyway, the coffee was very good and not bitter or over roasted. My son had some sort of flavored latte and he enjoyed it.

Little native is becoming one of my favorite downtown Raleigh coffee shops. I love the design with all of the natural plants and the serene vibes of the coffee shop, plus they have an amazing outdoor patio space which is perfect for working or just catching up with friends. They make delicious coffee drinks, the perfect balance of flavor and strength. I love trying their seasonal lattes as they are always fun to enjoy and unique like the pistachio butter latte I got today. I do wish they had a few more food options in the shop but overall it's the perfect neighborhood coffee shop.

It's a nice little space, but I was surprised that the people working there seemed drowsy. I was not there particularly early, and service was a bit laconic. I was also surprised that when I ordered a waffle off their menu, they acted a little baffled and had to check whether they had it. They did, and it was a nice waffle, but didn't come with any sauces or toppings as I'd expected. The chai I got was advertised with a house ginger syrup and that delivered on flavor and had a nice kick. Still, I was kind of underwhelmed with the experience.

This little coffee shop is beautiful and such a hidden jewel. Beautiful mugs that make it feel like every coffee is a splurge and a treat. The coffee art is on point. It gives off secret garden vibes. Loved the coffee and the barista/cashier were so welcoming and nice.

This place is amazing! Unassuming charm! Reminded me of "unfortunate Events" vibe. Yes it's little with a few seats cozied together inside and a nice patio seating setting. The menu is small but has all the things u want, and the coffee was silky and yummy.. the scone was subtle and sweet goodness! The service was a 5 out of 5

Friendly baristas and good coffee. I got a banana iced latte and it was very yummy. The barista recommended it to me and it came out so fast! There isn't a crazy amount of indoor seating (maybe ~12 seats inside) but there is a very nice outdoor patio!

Quaint and cozy coffee shop with live plants hanging from the shelves and a small courtyard. There is a room with swivel chairs with bookshelves filled with items sold by local artists and a hidden room only accessible by a secret entrance. . I got an iced latte with oatmilk and sugar-free vanilla. Soooo good:)

Consistently great espresso and service. Super place for a quick cup and even better for reading a book amongst friendly staff and patrons.

A potentially nice place ruined by the presence of some seriously unpleasant baristas. Also, they don't accept cash, which is weird.

A Truly Artisanal Bakery…read more I rarely leave reviews on yelp anymore, but this bakery is so impressive, it inspired me to type this down. I'm from the Bay Area and loved going to all kinds of bakery when I travel. I did not have much expectations when I came to Raleigh. I tried Paul and Jack and couple other bakeries, they were all good, but not impressive. The first thing I noticed was their Mill Room, and second I noticed that they have 100 score on hygiene. Not that I care about the score that much but still impressive. Then We got a bunch of pastries, the shortbread was the first one we tried and wow, it was so simple yet so flavorful, truly malted tasting shortbread, it has so much depth in taste. Then I had a had a ham and cheese croissant, it was on the salty side but I kept eating it when I'm not even hungry. The true winner though, is the plain croissant I got which traveled with me for 72 hours back home. I got it out of my bag, slightly flattened by all my stuff, I expect it to taste flat and meh. I put it in the oven for 6 minutes and it turned out to be the best croissant I've had. It was flaky, soft and soo flavorful. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. Lastly, I want to say that with so many pop ups, new bakeries coming up in different cities, often times we were chasing that unique flavors, that special toppings on croissants, but Boulted Bread stayed true to bread, and perfected the craft without focusing on "exotic" or "special" flavors. I truly respect this.

A bialy (bee-AH-lee) is a traditional Polish-Jewish bread roll, similar to a bagel but with key differences: it is baked, not boiled, has a dimpled center filled with onion bits and poppy seeds, and is generally softer and less dense. Originating in Białystok, Poland, these rolls are traditionally served plain or toasted with toppings like butter or schmear. 2. Rye shortbread. Not too sweet. Just perfection! 3. Bran biscotti. I like the idea of a high-fiber bran biscotti over a refined flour one. 4. Buchi Tepache. I got the mango-pineapple flavor. This is a local NC brand. It's a mildly fermented drink that originated in Mexico. I got the ingredients from their website (drinkbuchi.com): Organic Tibicos (Water, Organic Fair Trade Certified™* Cane Sugar, Organic Kefir Culture), Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Mango Puree, Organic Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Organic Whole Lemon Puree, Organic Mango Natural Flavor, Organic Pineapple Natural Flavor, Organic Monk Fruit Extract. 5. The baguette. Unlike a refined flour white bread baguette at La Farm Bakery, this one is made of a red wheat flour. Turkey Red flour is an heirloom, organic hard red winter wheat brought to Kansas in 1873 by Mennonite immigrants. Prized for its rich, nutty flavor and superior baking qualities, it is often used for artisan bread, sourdough, and pasta due to its unique, sometimes more digestible, gluten profile. It is commonly stone-ground and available from local Kansas millers. 6. The star of the show was the Everything Croissant. Like the Everything Bagel but soft and buttery. Topped with all the sesame seeds and seasonings with a cream cheese interior. So good! I do plan on returning!
