This is one of my favorite coffee shops I've ever been to. The ambiance is great, coffee/matcha great, service great. My husband has always wanted to try the Nitropress and the barista showed him exactly how it worked. I ordered the coconut pandan matcha and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. They also had bagels from benchwarmers and you can't go wrong with those. Will definitely be back!
Parallax Coffee in Wendell, NC was such a great find (thank you @coffee crawl) especially since it was my first time in Wendell! I'm a sucker for a seasonal menu and the shortbread old fashioned was like heaven in a cup. #Caffeinefix The space is cozy enough to camp out and work remotely, but spacious enough for both big groups and intimate hangs without feeling crowded. The staff was amazing and shoutout to Pamela for supporting my insta moments. To sum it up, this place is comfortable and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!
This coffee shop has been on my list to try for months and since it was part of the RDU Coffee Crawl list for April, it was a sign that I just had to go! They just celebrated their second anniversary yesterday so I guess it hasn't been around for long but they have a lot of locals stop by and hang out for a bit. The space is massive, offering plenty of seating and lounging spots, super clean and just a beautiful aesthetic (maybe just need to give their plants some TLC lol) but the coffee was incredible! You can tell the baristas take pride in their craft and it shows with their drinks. I had the brown sugar flat white which was a recommendation from one of the regulars there and it was heavenly. It's a solid 40 minutes away from home but worth the trip!
As much as I LOVE this place and their coffee, their 16oz special seemed small to me and when I poured it into my 16oz yeti, it only came about halfway up disappointing.
Space: 5/5 Coffee: 3.5/5 Vibe: 4/5 One of my favorite designed shops in the Raleigh area, very well thought out. My cortado was bitter, which was disappointing; I'll have to try them again as this could've been related to them rushing on a Saturday. My wife's matcha was great though. Overall, would recommend and the best shop in this part of Raleigh that I've found.
This place has lovely relaxed atmosphere and reminds me of the vibes in coastal Northern California up by University of Humboldt. place to placy chess in the back areas for sitting. definitely out new spot
We've been to many coffee shops across the country over the years, and this one by far is the gold standard! The vibe, the creativity of the drinks (as well as quality of purist drinks like espresso), and especially the staff are absolutely amazing! They really made us feel welcomed, and we will definitely be back when we're in the area!
I love the cute atmosphere here!! It's so so cute and the baristas are very kind. It's definitely somewhere you can hang for hours and just enjoy your coffee and do some computer work or read a book.
So happy to have a wonderful new 3rd Wave (maybe 4th?) coffee lab in town!! The space is beautiful...spacious and comfortable. Modern, without being pretentious...and very well appointed whether you're planning on posting up to work or just stopping in for an afternoon pick-me-up. The cappuccino was delicious. And next time I'll have to try some of the delicious treats they offer from Union Special. And I couldn't leave without complimenting the staff...Rachel & Jay were absolutely delightful!! I'm definitely looking forward to becoming a regular here!! Thank you Parallax Coffee for gracing our little town!
Incredible gem of a coffee shop!! I was so impressed by the cool atmosphere and decor of the shop. I ordered a mocha latte and it was amazing, they really do high quality coffee here and I can't wait to come back and try their more seasonal drinks.
If you're looking for a new modern spot for high quality coffee, this is the place to go. It's not as cozy as I wish, but it's definitely achieving a shwae aesthetic that a lot of people are drawn to. I got a chai latte, and I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and spice. It was not sweet at all and perfectly spicy. Another bonus is that it's not crazy busy all the time and there are lots of couches and quiet spaces to work. I'll be back again to try some of the food!
LOVE this addition to the quaint downtown scene This is a perfect place to work from, and meet others for coffee. Since I was working in between meetings. I grabbed a muffin. I'm not a coffee drinker but so love teas- this day they were out of tea which was fine since it was hot outside. They also have a space in the back with a long table if you want to meet others. I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy this cute shop.
This coffee shop is worth the drive. They have unique coffees to try, but they also have your classics. The atmosphere is great. It's beautiful in there. We had multiple friends meet us here yesterday, and everyone one mentioned how cute Wendell is. There are also good restaurants and a thrift shop all walking distance, so you can make a whole day of the trip.

Parallax has been on my list for some time, so I'm happy I was finally able to stop by and I definitely enjoyed it! I had about a 25 minute drive from North Raleigh to Wendell, but I can see why this is considered one of the best coffee spots in town. The service was great, it's a nice place to get some work done, and the matcha was yummy! If it were a bit closer to me, it would definitely be in my WFH coffee shop rotation! It's a perfect addition to Wendell and definitely a spot worth checking out. read more
Parallax has been on my list of coffee shops for some time now, and I finally made it today. It's located in downtown Wendell, which is so cute and cozy. There's plenty of parking surrounding Parallax. When I arrived there were 3 others enjoying the very beautiful coffee shop, but by the time I left it had gotten very busy. It's super pretty inside, very spacious and comfortable. I had 2 cookies, the chocolate chip cookie was ok, and the cinnamon roll cookie was delicious. I had a hot brown sugar latte and it was perfect. The service is good. It's a must if you're in Wendell or looking for a cute place to hang out. They are open til 5pm everyday but Sunday, they close at 2pm. read more

WHAT A EXPERIENCE!! Guys I grew up in the Rocky Mount/Spring Hope area which is right next to Wendell and I can't tell you how excited I was to come here. There interior design for one is EVERYTHING. But! I got their Earl Grey Morning Bun Latte HOT! Quite exceptional if I do say so myself. This definitely will be a pitstop for me anytime I am back visiting my bestie. The staff were very welcoming which is exactly how it should be at a great coffee shop. 10/10 highly recommend! Also I really gotta get some of their merch read more

A beautiful surprise about 20 minutes east of Raleigh. The coffee was excellent, the space beautiful, and the crew friendly. It's a world-class coffee shop with unique specialty drinks and plenty of seating. The owner takes a lot of pride in his craft and was eager to chat. Highly recommend. read more

Finding a cute sit down coffee shop is hard to find but Parallax truly lives up to its well deserved 5.0 rating...I love this place so much, the vibes, the service the food are absolutely giving. My new favorite place, and I love love LOVE the matcha!! And I am so coming back here later! read more
