We went here on a perfect mid 70's day...you know, one of those days you'll remember with nostalgia. The cafe was memorable and reminded me of a contemporary lake house cabin in the mountains. When you walk in, there's a bar area to order from. Quite impressively, this is also the space where they cook the food and make the drinks and I literally cannot fathom how they do it in such a limited space. However, they do a brilliant job! The food was very fresh and very tasty. I got something from the "features" on the menu (rotational items). My choice was the duck duck grits. DELICIOUS. And what a steal at $13! I also took a bite of my friend's Philly cheesesteak and that was great as well. Smoothies are also wonderful. I forgot to mention, it was quite busy when we got to the place. We ended up waiting around 20 minutes but it was worth it; Not only because the food was delicious, but also because the employees were great...and the food came out surprisingly fast! I highly recommend coming here on a nice day, soaking up the sun, and enjoying a wonderful brunch with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Yes. Lots of choices. The views are the best. Cool place to come grab a sandwich or a salad. You can sit back and watch people swim or fish. We went fishing. The pond is right there beside it.

I enjoyed a nice Father's Day lunch at the Farmhouse Cafe with my wife and mother-in-law. This place always has a good energy vide with good music, decent food, and fair prices. The staff is always courteous, the food is way above average, and you can feel why there is always a crowd here. I enjoyed the Smokehouse sandwich and Iced Mocha and my wife eats the chicken salad by the tub, lol! It's a real nice place with good energy. I highly recommend.

Stopped here for sunday brunch and was not disappointed! We got there around noon, before the lunch rush came in. All the inside tables were taken but they had plenty of outside seating. We originally sat outside but there were so many flies swarming our food immediately, so we went back inside for a table. We ordered the breakfast tacos and kitchen sink bagel sandwich. Both were delicious and super filling. I would definitely order the bagel sandwich again!

    The dipster. Eeee-yuck! Disgusting

Eeee-yuck!! I ordered the dipster and it was pretty disgusting. The presentation itself was nauseating. The meat had a jelly like consistency. The cheese was thick and just laid on the sandwich. A glob of barely caramelized onions sat on top. I didn't want to waste my money but I couldn't finish it. Absolutely disgusting.

This place has so much potential. The space is super cute. The food was just ok. Between the four of us we had the following: - BLTE and C: This was by far the best thing we had. Would def recommend. - Mango mint coconut French toast: Do not recommend. - Breakfast Burrito: Good, would get again. - Roast Beef Dipster: ok, would not get again. - Rise and Shine Smoothie: Icy and flavorless. Waste of $6. - 12oz can of overpriced warm beer because their taps were broken. Waste of $7. We waited in line 20-30 min to order, so I would not recommend 12pm on a Saturday. Once ordered, the food was ready in 10 min which was nice.

We sat outside since we had such a big group, but we really liked it. It is inside a neighborhood and you order at the counter and pick it up when they call your name. We got the French toast and the smokehouse sandwich. The French toast was delicious with the berry compote on top and the whipped cream. Our coffee's were a little sweet but after we mixed them the sweetness toned down.

Surprisingly good food. Cooked to order with what appears to be quality ingredients. We stopped herr by chance one Sunday for brunch. I'd known of the spot for a few years but never visited until recently. The food was filling. Prices were moderate. Service was prompt; after placing our order i made my way to the counter for pickup in about 20 minutes. There's ample indoor and outdoor seating. Looking forward to the next visit.

They have a seat yourself service on Sunday, except there were no tables available since they all still had plates/trash on them. Took about 20 minutes until we could order, girl running the cashier was nice and helpful though. Food only took about 15 minutes for my family but about 25 for mine. Family had the Pressed Bagel with ham, egg, and cheese as well as the 3 cheese grilled cheese and I had the bacon, eggs, and side of home fries. Everything was ok, nothing out of this world but then I found a males hair in my food. I wasn't even a quarter into my food so that was extremely wasteful. To top it off, my daughter stood by the counter waiting for someone to help her grab a container for her muffin to-go and the man running that side completely ignored her several times. It wasn't until a young lady walked over that my daughter was able to get her attention for help. For the price we paid it was not even close to worth our time let alone our money. Besides the tables not being busted it was pretty clean, bathrooms were clean, and a cute set up.

It's a rather small coffee-house / cafe that serves everything from Premium Coffee Concoctions to Biscuits & Gravy to Paninis & Quiche to Wings & Burgers to Steaks & Lasagna to Affogato with a Biscotti (Gelato with Espresso). I think it has the most diverse and extensive menu in our area, and everything I have tasted so far has been delicious. Inside seating a somewhat limited, so it can get crowded during peak hours. There are a couple of outside tables and the roof-top garden is open when the weather turns nice. Except for Sunday dinner, they are open for every meal every day of the week. The Chicken Salad Croissant was slightly sweet and piled high on a large flakey fresh-baked croissant. The Goat Cheese & Fig Panini came with Mozzarella Cheese, Bacon, fresh Spinach and a Balsamic Glaze pressed in Sourdough Bread. It was exceptional. Our grandson devoured a fluffy Waffle and pronounced it the best he had ever had. We also recommend the Spinach Artichoke Quiche - a generous serving of my favorite egg custard tart loaded with Spinach & Artichoke and gooey Mozzarella & Provolone Cheese. The Bacon, Egg & Gouda Sandwich is another winner. The Apple-wood smoked Bacon, Eggs and Cheese are packed into a toasted English Muffin. For something sweet, try the Oreo Cheesecake - simply delicious. One last thing - the Coffee is also very good.

I let him know the food was great, home cooked and good portions. The one thing that ruined the evening was the RUDE waitress, he walked up to the table and before he could sit down she bought my drink out, she asked what will you have to drink, he's looking confused and responds still standing, well what do you have? She rambles all the options so fast I'm not sure he understood all but made a choice. Then he sat down. She came back and slid it on the table like a fly by.. Soon she bought a hush puppy basket they were cold, I dare not complain she was so nasty and distant. Next she came back, order book open and I was like it's his 1st time, she didn't say anything, she just looked out the window and waited, so we just knew we needed to order, so I named my meat before I could finish SIDES??then he simply asks did they have bone in chicken ( I didn't know he was going to ask or I would have told him beforehand) she says no we have , fried chicken breast tenders, sisco chicken etc, she named every chicken dish on the menu without taking a breath.. I can give her props for knowing that..we both were looking at her confused and she never looked at us it was always "looking out the window " He said just give me "Flounder " one piece or two??? He replies one, SIDES??? Like we needed to be on point. She took the menus and left. She asked the questions she needed but was mean, not engaging and just rude. The WAY she asked.. When our food came this waitress walked by and literally slid our food on the table in a way that was like HERE! And kept walking I don't even think she stopped when she put them on the table she may have slowed down. We had to reach towards the end of the table to slide our plates in front of us. We both looking at each other in agreement she just nasty! The next time she came back she walked by and sat down a half glass of refill for his drink, she hadn't asked she just did it, suppose he wanted a glass of water? When we put our forks down she came over to get his plate and bought me a to go box as I still had half my food on my plate and she left the ticket. She didn't say is there anything I can get you or anything the entire time. He put his pymt with the ticket and put it on the edge of the table, I hadn't been in a while so I forgot we would pay on the way out. She was cleaning the floor near us and slid our ticket/pymt farther on our table, as if it was in her way, again he's confused so he said this is ready and she let him know to pay up front. I have never experienced such a nasty waitress at this restaurant and because of this I probably will never go back. I don't like not feeling comfortable and welcomed in a place where my money and time is going into. I started to complain before I left but in reality I don't think it would have mattered, and we left a tip not as much as we would have if she was more pleasant. I don't know whether she was having a bad day, a long day or to take it personal but I can't deal with attitude like that and won't take a chance on it again. This man drove a hour to experience this was just unbelievable!!!!

There's a Southern sensibility woven through it all--not loud or kitschy, but present in the details: warm wood tones, with a hint of nostalgia in the walls. But what makes the place quietly peculiar--in the best way--is how it seems to bloom into a boutique around its edges. Just beyond the dining space, as if the room itself got curious and wandered off, are shelves, tables and nooks filled with small treasures: things you didn't come in for but suddenly can't stop noticing. Somewhere along the way--quietly, almost politely--Sip and Shop decided to become something more. They didn't abandon its charm; they refined it. That shift begins in the kitchen, where a chef--trained, precise, and just a little bit obsessed in the best possible way--has taken the familiar and taught it how to stand a little taller. I ordered: - The Salmon Salad (one of the specials) - The Philly Cheesesteak (one of the specials) - comes with a side (fries) - 5 wings with blue cheese Due to my allergies, I changed out the strawberry dressing for blue cheese and ranch. The salmon salad was pretty good overall. I believe the strawberry dressing would have given it the balance it needed of a hint of sweetness from the fruit. But it was still good. Where things fell short was the cheesesteak. I did it with the wings as take out. The flavors of the cheesesteak were off. I shared it with others and we all said it was a seasoning on the meat or something that didn't go well. It didn't have the taste you are familiar with when it comes to a classic cheesesteak. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't something we would order again - you know things just ain't forever one. This was one for us. It might be something great for someone else. The wings and fries were good. The fries had a good seasoning to them and the wings weren't hard - so all good in our book. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
