Latte (12oz) and chicken salad sandwich w a side of chips
    Ashley B.

Loved this cafe! In a great spot by the new Cary Downtown Park and in a walkable area. Parking is not the best, but when we went it looked as though a parking deck is in the works. The vanilla latte was delicious and their sandwiches are good too! Hubby and I got the chicken salad sandwich to share, and it was a great pick me up for our day. There is two floors for seating, but not many seats. I recommend ordering for take out!

Pleasant cafe with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. A good spot for light conversation and studying. Since it's located in downtown Cary, parking is available in nearby lots or along the street. They serve coffee, tea, and some food (toast, bagel, sandwiches, muffins, etc). I enjoyed the tea, the flavor and how they serve it. So many places serve tea in disposable containers even if you are dining in. Here you receive the mug, teapot, and a platter designed to hold them. Elegant and ideal for enjoying loose leaf teas. Plus information is provided on how long to let the leaves steep. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here and recommend this cafe to others!

Iced latte ($4.50) with rose syrup ($1.00) and oat milk ($0.70). $7.95 after tax and tip.

We stopped by BREW Coffee Bar for a quick pick-me-up while walking around downtown Cary. I tried an iced latte ($4.50) with seasonal rose syrup ($1.00) and oat milk ($0.70). After tax and tip, the drink worked out to $7.95 total. Regular size. It was OK. BREW is unique in that it's located inside The Cary Theater. The cafe opened in March 2016, adjacent to the theater's lobby. There are various indoor and outdoor spaces and seating to choose from, including some quieter upper-level areas next to some of the theater's offices/private rooms and balcony. The wide spiral staircase is a cool feature. Overall, the place has somewhat of a neat, hip feel to it. Outside on the patio, you can sit next to the theater's art deco storefront. Along with coffee, BREW serves a small variety of interesting loose-leaf teas, seasonal drinks, kombucha, and food -- sandwiches, toast, bagels, English muffins, yogurt and granola, and more. Service was fine. The cashier was a bit dismissive, not very warm/friendly. Very limited parking is available for BREW and The Cary Theater behind the building. You're better off parking for free on a nearby street like E Cedar St, one block to the north.

Not a ton of seating but a great vibe when you can sit or for a takeaway coffee to go walk around Downtown Cary Park. Friendly staff, masterfully made coffee, and locally sourced food, in the middle of one of the best spots in the Triangle, downtown Cary.

Enjoyed a beautifully made vanilla latte, but waited 10+ minutes for it to be made. I was shocked at how long it took to make. It wasn't that busy. I walked up, immediately ordered, then waited and waited. The latte could have been a tiny bit warmer, but overall it was enjoyable.

Incredibly knowledgeable barista. Extraordinary espresso shot and the best pour over I've ever tasted.

Plenty of eating inside making for a great experience to sit and enjoy a coffee. Disappointed that the seasonal flavors weren't available, but i would go back and would recommend

First time coming here. The place was very open and friendly. Small families, enjoying coffee and snacks. Students studying. It was a great environment. They have huge cookies that we got for our kids, they were delicious! I ordered the Matcha latte and the barista, let my kids sit at the bar and watch every step to make the latte. It was an awesome experience for our family! This was a middle of the day stop for us, so it is always time for coffee or tea! Definitely check this place out.

matcha was alright. shop was cute. place was a little tight, not enough space to sit around.

Atmosphere: Brew Coffee Bar has large windows that let in plenty of natural light during the day. There is seating both on the first floor and in an upstairs space, though it may be hard to find a spot when the cafe is busy. Their wifi wasn't working at all when we visited, so we wouldn't recommend coming here for a study or working session. Service: Our barista was friendly, and our drinks came out quickly. Food: We ordered their drip coffee and an iced vanilla latte. We weren't expecting much for their drip coffee, but it still disappointed us as it was way too acidic and lukewarm. The iced vanilla latte unfortunately wasn't very flavorful, mostly tasting like milk. Overall: Brew Coffee Bar has a lot of potential, but between their weak wifi and lackluster drinks, we likely would not come back.

I came to BREW after wandering around downtown Cary. This is a small coffee shop that's attached to the local theater. It's a cute little shop, and it also has free wifi for anyone looking to get some work done. The menu has standard coffee shop options. I ordered an earl grey latte, and I thought it was pretty tasty. Prices were pretty typical for a small coffee shop. The downsides are that the service is a little bit slow, and there are limited seating options inside.

Overall it was a good experience, they have some different items like we ordered today two pour over coffees with Uganda coffee that was rich and dark with hints of berries in it. The people working there were okay, not overly friendly though so I think for the $12 spent on two cups of coffee we could have found a place with more friendlier service.

The cranberry lemon muffin was absolutely perfect, so much flavor, so fresh & moist. The Salted Brown Butter Latte was the best. From the first sip to the last drop, I loved it. I received confused looks from the two employees that were standing behind the counter. They didn't have a rag to clean with so they told me to use wet napkins to clean the table. The response wasn't what I expected, but I got the impression the employees don't clean this establishment. They had no idea what to do. Kind of strange. I used water and a pile of napkins to clean everything off onto the floor. Other than that, the coffee and atmosphere were good. Not sure we'll return. It is a cool place though.

Small selection in comparison to Preston Corners location, but still good quality. Delicious bakery items as you would expect from La Farm and very friendly helpful staff encountered here. The Deets: I had the chance to go by this location of La Farm Bakery near downtown Cary on Chatham St a couple of times during the past holiday season. I had walked over first to see about getting some gift baskets shipped to friends for the holidays but found out upon entering that they only handle shipping at the Preston Corners/Cary Parkway location. I was surprised as this location had such a large footprint with being the size of a grocery store but most of that size is used for the actual baking/storage itself it appears. The bakery service/cafe at this location is pretty small but nice and clean, with the only sitting area only outside with no actual inside seating to enjoy any purchases. There is not a dedicated inside sit-down cafe experience here. The actual selections on the shelves available seem in less volume than say their Preston Corners location (on my second visit here I wound up going to Preston Corners again for the items I wanted for a holiday party I was to attend). The same, still delicious, baked items in their display case as well as coffee/beverages are available here and still as enjoyable which earns most of their four stars here. Luckily the second visit I made here was on a warmer day so the outside seating could be utilized if you wanted to eat there. Another reason for their four stars here is the great positive attitude and friendly demeanor of the staff here. Even though they could not help me with my shipping of gift baskets on the first visit when I inquired, I was offered coffee while I waited for my ride share to take me to the Preston Corners location and that was greatly appreciated. The small cafe at the downtown Cary of La Farm Bakery is a nice stop for bakery items and goodies but for more of the full "La Farm experience" for gifts etc. then you may want to start out at the Preston Corners/Cary Parkway location. I may have had more of a 3.5 star full experience here, they get to those 4 stars with the deliciousness of the La Farm baked goods and the friendly helpful staff I encountered.

Unfortunately, this is probably because the chairs were the equivalent of sitting on a guitar pick. The rest of the decor similarly resembled a mid-century modern insane asylum. All this is child's play compared to the drinks. I was hoping they would redeem the experience. I was rooting for you, iris coffee lab. The matcha left me wanting more. I couldn't taste even a whisper of matcha flavoring, and the price was laughable for a glass of green milk. When my flat white arrived, I felt that twinkle return to my eye. Sadly, about 3 sips later, as I neared the end of my beverage I was shocked to discover a texture component I was not expecting. After a lot of contemplation, I have decided I am not a fan of coffee grounds swirling around my mouth. The customers are hip and trendy, the employees exceedingly friendly and speedy, the drinks bespoke and innovative, but I think we need to cut out the frills and go back to the basics. Why play 3D chess when you've yet to master tic tac toe? I think the experience was net neutral, but for how steep the pricing is, I feel it's my duty to let the world know what they're getting into.
