Made a second visit here for the matcha iced latte. The staff seemed welcoming and pleasant even offered my pup a treat. I enjoyed the match ice latte. Very good and the right amount of earthy and sweet flavor. The tone changed when an acquaintance showed up with his big dog. The staff instructed us we must keep dogs outside. This is our go to Caribou. We live an hour away but whenever we are in the area we stop. Being from MN we miss our Caribou as the competition is disgusting. The drive thru is small and there is minimal parking. It's kinda an odd layout but we get over ourselves quickly when that delicious coffee hits our lips!! My go to is Barry White Mocha and a caramel cooler. They used to do the coolers in decaf but apparently they don't anymore- which is sad as if it's later in the day I most definitely don't need the caffeinated coffee lol read more

Full disclosure. Caribou Coffee is my favorite coffee chain. That said, the store I visited is an older one with the standard and welcoming cabin-themed interior. Caribou Coffee merchandise - full-priced and discounted - was available. Both of my drinks - crafted press and iced mocha - were made according to how I ordered them and they tasted good, as usual. The small parking lot, the narrow drive-through with potholes to avoid, and the afore-mentioned older store might be a deterrent for some. However, the coffee drinks are on point. read more

My mom went in and ordered so I can't tell about the service, time and cleanliness but She got me a matcha tea, I've been a recent fan of matcha lattes and matcha in general. The drink wasn't even filled up to the top but it tasted okay, I'm glad that they did put a reasonable amount of ice (not the whole cup), the sweetness was a good balance too which I appreciate as a sugar tooth, the matcha was really faint and was not really up to my expectations but if your looking for a quick refresher this is what to get. read more

Like other posters reported, rude service, dirty store with roaches and liquor bottles all over. Even found liquor bottles inside store in trash! Disturbingly filthy bathrooms. All topped off with a watered down processed coffee wannabe drink that gave me diahrea within 30 minutes- but couldn't use their restroom since it was so filthy. In addition there is no parking at this location because of the men that loiter outside smoking and staring at the teenage girls. They park their cars there all day long. Will never visit this Caribou location again. You can excuse a bad cup of coffee but cannot excuse horrible staff with extremely hostile attitude. I predict Caribou will go bankrupt within a year. I'm in-different about this place. We ordered the caramel high rise and it said it was espresso, but I didn't taste much of the espresso, it was more like an iced coffee.. with lots of milk. We also got the shaken pumpkin espresso, and this actually tasted like it had espresso in it, but my drink had all of these milk particles on the bottom of my drink.. like it wasn't shaken up well, or it was the fat cap. Caribou normally has better coffee than Starbucks, but if they can't, with their eccentricities, implement customer-friendly store polices, what's the point in trying to be different? We bought a $6 turtle mocha and a (warm) bottle of water and couldn't even get a cup of ice to cool the water. My advice? If you want Caribou coffee, go to the store in Brier Creek. If you want something convenient and enjoyable in Cary, go to Esteamed or BREW downtown. The service was Awful. We bought 2 coffees and one was 2 sweet and one was bitter. ....OK I said let's mix them and it will be OK. we asked for a cup to mix them and explained what was happening. As a Caribou Coffee fan, I'm happy to see more shops in the Triangle! I've passed by this location in the past but never had a chance to stop by. It's tiny! There's not much parking but it has a drive-thru window! It was easy to order. Amazing customer service! Top of the line and friendly. My iced pumpkin white mocha was on point! It was delicious! I don't know about this place... spent a significant time here today and a few things bothered me. Maybe it was an off day? 1) They ran out of bubbles, just about everyone in our party was disappointed. 2) Bathrooms were beyond gross. Felt like you were visiting the stall of a club or worse, a gas station bathroom. No soap, paper towel dispenser out of order, and walls that look like they've been through a war. What's it take to clean it up and make it look less like a toilet exploded? 3) They don't recycle. When asked if they do, the lady responded, "well, we do recycle but only behind the counter. And I can only take it if you haven't drank out of your cup". What??? So yeah, even though they sell hundreds of plastic cups, there are no recycling bins for them. 4) There are only 10 parking spots in front. I had to wait a good minute for someone to leave. And this was a Sunday. I cannot imagine mornings here. Maybe everyone uses the drive-thru? The drink itself was good but still, a lot left to be desired being that it's supposedly their signature drink of the summer. read more

Echo below about cleanliness of restrooms. Has been a constant at this location. As has building maintenance. They've also suffered an apparent break-in, shattering the front door glass, and also lots of vandalism (be careful sitting in any of the patio chairs). Plus staffing issues. Very inconsistent - sometimes friendly, prompt service, other times its like midnight at burger king and you just want to turn around and walk out (for example right now one of the workers is loudly complaining about a customer - in front of other customers). It's definitely not the neighborhood hangout it used to be. And doesn't appear to be as busy as it used to be back in the day. Coffee is good, on par with Starbucks, but there are local places that beat both. Myself and many of the former regulars tend to visit those local places now instead. In the end Caribou is just a chain coffee shop ran by some folks way off somewhere and it reflects that. read more

Great study cafe. Plenty of seating options, strong wifi, plenty of power outlets, good coffee, and a comfortable rustic-yet-modern ambiance. I've comfortably spent 3-4 hours here on numerous occasions. The only downsides are difficult access from Maynard Ave and scant parking. read more

The atmosphere for me was very relaxed offering couches to sit on and tables to work at all while being able to smell the freshly brewed coffee.
