    Matcha tea
    Pearlii W.

My mom went in and ordered so I can't tell about the service, time and cleanliness but She got me a matcha tea, I've been a recent fan of matcha lattes and matcha in general. The drink wasn't even filled up to the top but it tasted okay, I'm glad that they did put a reasonable amount of ice (not the whole cup), the sweetness was a good balance too which I appreciate as a sugar tooth, the matcha was really faint and was not really up to my expectations but if your looking for a quick refresher this is what to get.

Full disclosure. Caribou Coffee is my favorite coffee chain. That said, the store I visited is an older one with the standard and welcoming cabin-themed interior. Caribou Coffee merchandise - full-priced and discounted - was available. Both of my drinks - crafted press and iced mocha - were made according to how I ordered them and they tasted good, as usual. The small parking lot, the narrow drive-through with potholes to avoid, and the afore-mentioned older store might be a deterrent for some. However, the coffee drinks are on point.

Caribou is a great choice for a quick snack, coffee, pastries, etc. my brother was visiting town, grabbed a coffee at Caribou, and brought us back some pastries to share. He purchased a blueberry muffin, a raspberry scone, and a coffee cake. My favorite was the blueberry muffin which had a yummy sugary topping with soft muffin the middle. The second was the coffee cake. They were a nice little treat.

Liquor bottles all around Caribou Coffee in Cary from druggies and men loitering there

Like other posters reported, rude service, dirty store with roaches and liquor bottles all over. Even found liquor bottles inside store in trash! Disturbingly filthy bathrooms. All topped off with a watered down processed coffee wannabe drink that gave me diahrea within 30 minutes- but couldn't use their restroom since it was so filthy. In addition there is no parking at this location because of the men that loiter outside smoking and staring at the teenage girls. They park their cars there all day long. Will never visit this Caribou location again. You can excuse a bad cup of coffee but cannot excuse horrible staff with extremely hostile attitude. I predict Caribou will go bankrupt within a year. They are already laying off staff and closing locations.

The service was Awful. We bought 2 coffees and one was 2 sweet and one was bitter. ....OK I said let's mix them and it will be OK. we asked for a cup to mix them and explained what was happening. The manager refused to give us a cup. ...no seriously. after explaining 2 times the manager gave us the itty-bitty water cup. I said this will ment and is not big enough. She shoulder shrugged and walked away. You can't make this stuff up!

I got the vanilla cooler and it was disgusting I told the barista and asked to get something else instead she told me no. When I went to sit back down I also noticed a roach on the floor.

Wonderful ambiance, we sat by the fireplace (even though it wasn't lighted) and enjoyed good coffee drinks. Excellent first date spot.

The cranberry lemon muffin was absolutely perfect, so much flavor, so fresh & moist. The Salted Brown Butter Latte was the best. From the first sip to the last drop, I loved it. I received confused looks from the two employees that were standing behind the counter. They didn't have a rag to clean with so they told me to use wet napkins to clean the table. The response wasn't what I expected, but I got the impression the employees don't clean this establishment. They had no idea what to do. Kind of strange. I used water and a pile of napkins to clean everything off onto the floor. Other than that, the coffee and atmosphere were good. Not sure we'll return. It is a cool place though.

When I finished my latte, I dipped my cookie in the cup to get the last of the foam...so good. The baked goods are from Ninth Street Bakery in Durham. How amazing local supporting local. Overall, the little coffee shop is cute and has a little bit of outdoor seating which I liked but is expensive for being so mid in my opinion. I ended up paying almost $7 for a blueberry latte. Overall, my latte tasted like a regular latte, even though it did have a seasonal blueberry syrup added to it. I know that blueberry is very light in flavor compared to coffee so I asked for more than the allotted amount of syrup and their response was that they had a certain amount added to of syrups added. So I said ok thinking they would take that into consideration but when I got my coffee, guess the amount they added didn't matter because it tasted the same as a latte regular. Unfortunately, at the end of my coffee (like the last 20%) had what I assume to be bits of berry in it? The texture made me toss the remaining amount. With the high prices and the location right on a busy street / no parking I probably wouldn't be back but I did enjoy being about to sit outside under an umbrella and the service was nice / fast. All the stars would go to the servers and overall cleanliness honestly.
