    Cinnamon white chocolate scone
    Lexi G.

The inside was super cute, and the breads and pastries all looked SO good! We got a cinnamon white chocolate scone and it was indeed delicious. Our positive experience stopped there... My husband ordered a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, and I ordered just the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. They both came on ciabatta, and when I asked if I could get mine on a croissant they said no (no biggie....... But I think they said no because it's just a frozen p.o.s!). The ciabatta was tasty, the egg and stuff was yuck yuck yuck. Enjoy the pictures, it'll take your appetite away. I thought to myself, what on earth is in the egg??? Either way, I'm just going to make my own scones at home, as this is a great reason to never buy one again. We won't be back for our McDonald's sandwich dupes. Thanks

We had high hopes because of the reputation and saw a lot of people eating outside. I think this is a place that was once great but has stopped trying their best. Why would I say that, the store did not have much in it, the breads looked good as did some of the treats. We bought two kinds of cookies, some granola and bread. One of the cookies was so bad my wife took it back! Thats rare, she almost never takes things back, even if she doesn't like it. She told them how bad it was and the woman inside said she had never tried them, worse, they don't even bake them! They buy them from some other company that makes mass-produced cookies. The chocolate cookies were kind of like those easy premade tubes of cookies you buy at the grocery store and heat up at home. Nothing special and not really good. The granola was ok, not great, it was over 15 dollars a bag and basically the same stuff you buy at the grocery store cereal isle for $5 a box. Again, this may have ben great once, but now, they need to rethink their business and try harder.

I had read online that this was a "must visit" four out of towners coming to the area for the first time so I knew I had to check it out. Very lovely staff. Great location with easy parking and lots of outdoor seating. The employee recommended the stuffed baguette so I couldn't resist.

This is one of our family's favorite spots for all things bread and breakfast. We always make a stop here whenever we're in the areas. In the morning, there are usually plenty of tables available, so we've never had to wait for a seat. The food always comes out fresh, hot and delicious, with plenty of sweets and savory items to satisfy every craving. We especially loved our breakfast and chocolate eclair, though we did find the coffee eclair a bit disappointing. It dry and tasted like it was not fresh.

I had such high hopes for La Farm as I've had their baked goods on several occasions and was super impressed. However, this was not the case for my food today. I was starving and heading into work, so I thought I would grab a quick and delicious bite. Everything I asked for was unfortunately not available. I went with the Croque Monsieur, as it was the only cooked food available. It came out to me in a cute little white box. As I opened the box, I was saddened to see the size of the sandwich and that it was covered with this thick cheese and mayo like substance. It was super greasy and thick. I tried my first bite and a second bite. My teeth could barely get through the bread. I had to break it off to eat it. I thought maybe I would have a better time with eating the ham. The ham was these three sad and basic slices of deli meat. After trying the ham and attempting one more bite, I said no way am I going to be able to finish this and return it. I spoke with the manager upon returning the sandwich. He explained that their food is brought in from another location, and they just have a toaster in the back to warm it up; so it is better to go to the other location. If you know the quality of your cooked food will not be the best because you do not have adequate facilities then do not offer it. Two stars for being able to access a manager and get my money back. Minus three for the lackluster service and telling me to leave and go up the street for better quality food. Also, for not indicating on your menu that it is controlled by you on an adjustable screen, what items are not available. I will not be returning.

TLDR: Excellent breads and pastries! Love their original Cary location. This location offers another store front to sell their delicious baked goods. There is no restaurant at this storefront, but they do sell pre-made sandwiches and quiches. Typically I go to their Cary Parkway location, but since I was in the area I decided to give this spot a try. It is small and packed with items. As always, I'm so happy I stopped by. I was specifically looking for a small snack, dessert, and a loaf of bread to go with dinner. La Farm of course did not disappoint. I purchased blueberry scone, chocolate croissant (my favorite), focaccia (highly recommend), sourdough, almond croissant, and a berry cream cheese tart. I was happy to see that their blueberry scone didn't have white chocolate in it as their other scones do. Although we liked all of the items, we especially recommend the focaccia. It has the perfect texture and flavor. Only problem is that we eat everything too fast! Similar to their original Cary location, they sell a variety of breads, pastries, beverages, and merchandise here. Although they do not have a kitchen, they sell pre-made sandwiches and quiches. Customer service is great at both locations I have visited. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and helped right away. Parking was easy as they have ample spots available right out front. Overall, excellent experience and we recommend this bakery to others!

Yummy pastries but just okay lattes. They add wayyyy too much milk. Good quiche but desperately needs salt and pepper. Everything here is overpriced. The quiche was almost $12.

Stopped in for breakfast since I was getting work done on my jeep down at Cj Autosport and La Farm did not disappoint ! The sausage stuffed Baquette was warm and flavor and the Baquette was nice and crunchy . The Hazelnut beignets were pillowy soft almost like what you find at cafe du monde in New Orleans but without the powdered sugar. Staff was nice and fast would definitely drop by again

Finally got a picture of my favorite breakfast item at La Farm - the ham and cheese croissant. It is a perfect (albeit, very messy) choice if you love savory breakfast foods. Crispy on the outside, while soft, savory, and cheesy on the inside. I also got an oat milk latte, my go-to whenever I'm at La Farm. Such a warm and comforting cup of coffee -- it never gets old. Can't wait to come back!

burnt croissant.,they took flaky to the next level.

quality of bread and croissants has gone downhill., 2nd day in a row., over baked pan au chocolat., so dark it's unappealing and not appetizing., too crumbly all the way inside. The lady at the counter was so rude, she was rushing my husband to check out while he's busy looking on the bread section and trying to choose which bread to buy., meanwhile the rude girl was talking loudly with a male co worker calling him a loser and exchanging unpleasantries with each other. We will try the other branches in Cary as this will be our last on this branch.

What's not to love at La Farm! It's a bakery institution in the Triangle- one of the best in town. I stopped by on a Saturday morning to grab some treats for my husband and stepdaughter. I got her one of the little bread men and she just ate all the chocolate parts, but loved it. My husband's favorite it the pain au chocolat and croissants. If you've never been, go visit ASAP!

It's located alongside the leasing office for the apartment complex. The service is great. There were two young ladies working and they were both friendly. I arrived around 4:30 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and ordered a muffin and a decaf latte since it was so late (for me to drink caffeine). The cranberry lemon muffin was absolutely perfect, so much flavor, so fresh & moist. The Salted Brown Butter Latte was the best. From the first sip to the last drop, I loved it. I sat on a small section of a very comfortable couch with pillows and all. I later sat out front on one of the benches. They also have a patio seating out back. This particular morning, I knew I wanted to stop by Trader Joe's afterward, but they weren't open yet. So I pulled up the map looking for a coffee shop where I could get a little coworking done. Thousand Hills Coffee popped up, and it had been on my "need to try" list for a while. I also shot my buddy KH a quick text to see if he wanted to join me and catch up on our latest ultra running training shenanigans. Thankfully, he was game. I rolled in around 8:30 a.m. and managed to grab a decent parking spot. Worth mentioning because the coffee shop shares parking with the apartment complex next door, so I imagine spaces can disappear quickly. KW arrived a few minutes before me and had to park a bit farther away. Walking inside, I immediately liked the vibe. It feels modern but still cozy, almost like someone's really well-designed living room. There are several distinct seating areas, plenty of soft chairs, a long community table, and even bar seating overlooking the baristas. It struck a nice balance between coffee shop and comfortable workspace. Since I'd already knocked out my morning run, I was ready for a little breakfast. KH and I both ordered the cheese, Danish. It looked huge in the display case, though it shrank a bit once it made it onto the plate. That said, it was really flavorful and definitely worth ordering. I also grabbed a regular drip coffee, which was excellent. My timing was amusing because they had just finished the last pot and were brewing a fresh one, but honestly, getting a fresh cup probably worked out for the best. We grabbed chairs next to the long community table instead at the table since the morning sun was already heating things up. We spent a while catching up, talking running, races, and all the usual endurance athlete nonsense. After KH headed out, I relocated to the long table that was in the shade and spent another hour or so catching up on emails and getting a little work done. It turned out to be a great co-working spot with plenty of room to spread out without feeling like you were taking up space. One last shoutout to the staff, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Good coffee is one thing, but great people always make the experience better. Overall, I came away impressed. Somehow, they've been open for about two years, and I'm honestly not sure how they managed to stay off my radar for so long. Safe to say they'll be making it into my regular rotation whenever I need a good cup of coffee and a comfortable place to get some work done.

Overall, the little coffee shop is cute and has a little bit of outdoor seating which I liked but is expensive for being so mid in my opinion. I ended up paying almost $7 for a blueberry latte. Overall, my latte tasted like a regular latte, even though it did have a seasonal blueberry syrup added to it. I know that blueberry is very light in flavor compared to coffee so I asked for more than the allotted amount of syrup and their response was that they had a certain amount added to of syrups added. So I said ok thinking they would take that into consideration but when I got my coffee, guess the amount they added didn't matter because it tasted the same as a latte regular. Unfortunately, at the end of my coffee (like the last 20%) had what I assume to be bits of berry in it? The texture made me toss the remaining amount. With the high prices and the location right on a busy street / no parking I probably wouldn't be back but I did enjoy being about to sit outside under an umbrella and the service was nice / fast. All the stars would go to the servers and overall cleanliness honestly.

Iris isn't trying to be trendy: it is unapologetically devoted to the craft. The interior reflects that philosophy. A restrained palette of white, charcoal, and soft gray keeps distractions to a minimum, allowing every cup to remain the focal point. It's clean, modern, and intentionally understated. If you're someone who typically reaches for cream and sugar, I'd encourage you to order at least one cup black. Iris sources and roasts exceptional coffee, and tasting it without distractions is the best way to appreciate the nuance and balance that have earned the café such a devoted following. That said, the seasonal menu is every bit as thoughtful. On this visit, I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte, a drink layered with tropical sweetness, creamy matcha, and just enough complexity to keep each sip interesting. The final few sips, where all of the flavors settled together, were unexpectedly my favorite part. My brother-in-law chose Iris's signature blueberry-forward latte, while my niece ordered the house-made chai. Before she'd even finished half the cup, she looked up and declared, "This is the best chai I've ever had." Her father, after trying it himself, agreed without hesitation. The breakfast menu compliments the beverage program well, offering thoughtfully prepared dishes that feel every bit as intentional as the drinks. Like many destination coffee shops, Iris tends to attract people who settle in for a while. Laptops are open across nearly every table, conversations are minimal, and the room has the focused energy of a shared studio rather than a bustling café.
