This place is a little slice of Turkey right here in Apex, NC. The staff at this cozy cafe is so friendly. They have several options for Turkish Coffee, and they do a really good job of walking you through the options on intensity and flavor. The menu has many options of coffee drinks like lattes. I got the apple tea, and it was absolutely delicious. It was lightly sweetened and had an undeniable apple taste. It was a very large serving,, which helped to account for the slightly pricier cost. I wasn't expecting the sweet treat that came out on the tray when I ordered. That was such a lovely surprise. I'd give this place five stars alone for the presentation of the drinks! I found this restaurant on a humble. My physical therapy office is right next door. I would walk by wondering what type of food and drink they had. I finally went in and oh my goodness. The sweetest of sweets! The baklava and the semolina cake was so good! I have to go back and try the different teas that they offer. Also the inside is so cozy and quaint. My wife had read about this place and wanted to try it so we drove over on a Sunday morning. It's a little out of the way in a little strip mall but your GPS should be able to locate it. There were other parties seated indoors and outdoors when we arrived. We ordered at the counter and our cake and coffee were brought to our table. They have plenty of options of food and drink but we decided on two types of Turkish coffee plus some almond cake. The coffee arrived with some water and Turkish delight. I read that you are supposed to alternate between the coffee and the water and take an occasional sweet bite. If you've never had Turkish coffee before, let the grounds settle a little bit before drinking. Also, as you finish the liquid, don't consume the grounds in your cup. We enjoyed this experience and will keep it in mind for future excursions. read more

Wow what a treat to have this authentic local small business in the Triangle! The menu is incredibly diverse both with coffee and tea options along with desserts of all kinds. We tried the Silky Mardin coffee, which has notes of almond chocolate pistachio and cardamom. Nice small size for sipping. It came with some small tasty pieces of Turkish delight. We also ordered a cold milky hazelnut baklava (sutlu nuriye) which was FANTASTIC and so different than what you typically find in America. read more

Stumbled across this little coffee shop by accident because it is tucked away in the back of a little office complex where it is not very visible from the road. It's a very cute little shop with a bakery and trinkets to buy as well as a variety of coffee and drink options. We met the store manager who was nice and took the time to explain the menu and the brewing processes to us. They offer smelling jars so you can smell the different blends of coffee they offer. We opted to try the Aegean and Mardin flavors. We were curious about the sand brewing, so we opted to try it (this process does that longer, so allow at least 10 minutes extra if you are in a hurry). Brewing the coffee in the sand makes a richer tasting brew, which it definitely did. You don't typically put milk or cream in these coffees so we opted to just add a little sugar. I love coffee but I feel I would have loved it more with cream lol. It was very strong, but still a very good cup of coffee. The shop has a variety of pastries, cakes, and bagels from their bakery. We opted for the chocolate Baklava with Pistachio which is not made in house, but is made at their parent company located in Virginia. But the pastry was still very fresh even though it wasn't made in house and the taste was amazing. I loved it so much I requested a half tray to be my birthday "cake" this year. I would defiantly recommend this place as an alternative to any chain coffee place. read more

One of the most amazing coffee and customer service experiences I've ever had. Our first visit was last week. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the very friendly staff. When we explained this was our first time, they jumped right into education mode. We learned of the various types of coffee, what makes it different than traditional, American coffee and were given the grand tour of all the pastries. After we ordered, we found our way to a very comfortable table where we awaited our order. When it was delivered, we were again educated on the proper way of drinking Turkish coffee. Everything was so enjoyable, delicious and welcoming. We returned just a couple of days ago to sample more of their pastries and coffee. Again, the same warm, service oriented approach greeted us as we came through the door. This time it was very busy, but the friendliness and feeling of welcome was the same as when we were the only people in store. When there was some minor confusion on our order, it was promptly addressed after many apologies were given. I can't say enough about our experience at this establishment. The feeling of welcome and desire to share culture is exactly what we hoped for. We will be returning to Turkish coffee lady as often as possible for as long as possible. read more

A Turkish Coffee cafe sliced right out of Turkey and transplanted in NC. Wonderful staff, excellent service, excellent coffee. They took their time explaining things of what we might get or want. No rushing, no annoyance, a genuine kindness and patience that we were there to see them and learn about their offerings. Best coffee I've ever had. Tiniest as well but best :). The spices packed in such a small espresso was amazing. Pistachio, cardamom, chocolate... it was a strong coffee with tons of flavor. They also had freshly made cakes by the slice there that my kids were able to enjoy as well. Highly recommend and I'm a regular customer now! read more
