I tried Turkish coffee here for the first time and it was a great experience! The workers were all super sweet and the place itself was really quaint and cute. I wasn't sure what to order, but the girl working helped me decide and I ended up loving I got which was the silky mardin.

This place is a little slice of Turkey right here in Apex, NC. The staff at this cozy cafe is so friendly. They have several options for Turkish Coffee, and they do a really good job of walking you through the options on intensity and flavor. The menu has many options of coffee drinks like lattes. I got the apple tea, and it was absolutely delicious. It was lightly sweetened and had an undeniable apple taste. It was a very large serving,, which helped to account for the slightly pricier cost. I wasn't expecting the sweet treat that came out on the tray when I ordered. That was such a lovely surprise. I'd give this place five stars alone for the presentation of the drinks! Heads up, the building itself is unassuming. It's in a plaza filled with mostly office-type buildings. However, there is lots of parking!

Quaint, inviting cafe for authentic Turkish coffee, tea, and pastries. I especially enjoyed the plating in general and more specifically the Turkish tea and baklava. The employees are friendly and welcoming. We ordered at the counter and sat at an indoor table. Limited seating is available indoors. We were impressed by the elegant interior, plates, and presentation. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and recommend this cafe to others!

Amazing! Felt like a mini vacation to Turkey. the garllic puff pastry was fresh, hot, and delicious. I was greeted upon entry by the owner! Wow! Can't find that at starbucks! Support a female owned local business yall! :) The ambience is warm and inviting and the coffee is bold and spectacular for anyone who loves coffee.

My wife had read about this place and wanted to try it so we drove over on a Sunday morning. It's a little out of the way in a little strip mall but your GPS should be able to locate it. There were other parties seated indoors and outdoors when we arrived. We ordered at the counter and our cake and coffee were brought to our table. They have plenty of options of food and drink but we decided on two types of Turkish coffee plus some almond cake. The coffee arrived with some water and Turkish delight. I read that you are supposed to alternate between the coffee and the water and take an occasional sweet bite. If you've never had Turkish coffee before, let the grounds settle a little bit before drinking. Also, as you finish the liquid, don't consume the grounds in your cup. We enjoyed this experience and will keep it in mind for future excursions.

Lovely people, lovely atmosphere and great coffee and food. I got a beef pastry and it was hearty and delicious. The coffee I tried had pistachios and some other flavors that were so yummy, and I enjoyed hearing the owners talk about their journey- I'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Visited this charming little spot with a friend last weekend. They serve tea, coffee, cakes, baklava, and also offer handmade gifts. We tried the chamomile and apple teas -- both were lovely, and the biscuit served alongside was a nice touch. The baklava (or nut-based dessert) was tasty, though a bit on the sweeter side.

Great experience and very friendly people. Will definitely be back for the coffee and education on Turkish customs. The shop is cozy with a good amount of room given the limited space. Highly recommend the lattes and authentic coffees.

I went here this morning and got the Turkish coffee a pistachio latte, and a stuffed feta and cheddar bread and they were amazing! The staff was so helpful and nice. Will definitely be back again!

My husband loves Turkish coffee so we had to give this place a try. It is located in a little strip mall, out of the way and it may small but it's really got some sweet ambiance. Love that owner is so beautiful and has the biggest and sweetest smile. Coffee was so delicious and loved the presentation! especially the little Turkish delights :) cannot wait to come back.

Wow what a treat to have this authentic local small business in the Triangle! The menu is incredibly diverse both with coffee and tea options along with desserts of all kinds. We tried the Silky Mardin coffee, which has notes of almond chocolate pistachio and cardamom. Nice small size for sipping. It came with some small tasty pieces of Turkish delight. We also ordered a cold milky hazelnut baklava (sutlu nuriye) which was FANTASTIC and so different than what you typically find in America.

    A special find

Great coffee and tasty desserts. It's a bit off the beaten path but worth it. Owner and staff are lovely!

We didn't even need to look at the menu because we both wanted the Iskander Platter. Lucky we came in when we did because we got the last of it. Since having it the first time, I've watched a few recipe videos on how it's made. It's quite a process and takes a while so it's understandable they can't just make more quickly if they run out. This time it had a little different flavor than the last time. It had a saltier flavor and not quite as buttery as I remembered which was disappointing since that was the best part for me. It was still delicious but I was happy for the yogurt that helped cut the saltiness a little. Possibly the sauce became more concentrated since it was the end of the batch they had. I could only finish half because it's such a large portion but my husband finished his. The service was super friendly as always. The owners here are so lovely and always attentive. I will definitely be back again.

Hot melted butter is drizzled over the top to make it the dish rich and savory. A scoop of yogurt helps to balance it out and a wedge of charred tomato and bell pepper garnish the dish. All served in a long clay dish. This dish is not always available but it is on the menu. If it's available I highly recommend it. It's a bit indulgent and I couldn't eat it every day, but it is unique and delicious and the best Iskender I've ever had.

I finally figured out near the end of my meal that it had pickles in it :) I hate pickles! And it didn't mention that it had pickles on the menu. Oh well! After hearing so many great things, my family and I finally decided to try it this weekend, and all I can say is... WOW! What an incredible experience from start to finish. First, let me say that Zee, the owner and chef, is one of the most welcoming restaurateurs you'll ever meet. He not only prepares amazing food but also takes the time to personally greet his guests, making you feel like family the moment you walk in. We started with the Hummus and Fresh Flatbread, and it was absolutely outstanding, fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. Next came the Börek (Ground Beef and Feta Cheese). Think of it as the best, most flavorful "egg roll" you've ever had, but with authentic Turkish flair. Simply delicious! I had the Bugu Kebabi, served in a clay plate with red onions and tomatoes. Sealed with baked bread. I'm usually not a lamb person, but when Zee explained that the lamb is marinated for hours in an onion-based broth, I decided to step outside my comfort zone. I'm so glad I did! The lamb was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The presentation was also unique and memorable, with the delicate thin bread cut open right at the table. It was more than enough for my daughter and me to share. My wife ordered the Beyti Kebab, is a Turkish dish consisting of ground beef, grilled on a skewer and served wrapped in lavash and topped with yogurt sauce and butter sauce. Every single bite was bursting with amazing flavors. Another outstanding dish! All the desserts are to die for, many are imported from Turkey. Before you leave, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Turkish Coffee, Turkish Wines, or a Turkish Beers to complete the experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers healthy, authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced food, Zeeyum Kitchen should absolutely be on your list. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and there's plenty of convenient parking. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!!!
