There's so many combinations of sides, meats, and pitas/shawarmas. There is also a mini shop where you can buy international foods, snacks, and drinks. The plates here are always super filling and satisfying. I usually get a sides plate and a kabab dish which comes with 2 more sides plus rice and a garlic dip. Some of my favorite dishes/sides so far have been the beef/chicken kebab, vegetable lasagna, fava bean salad, black bean salad, chicken salad, mjadarah, and batatta harra (potatoes in whipped garlic). It's deli style ordering, where you stand in line look at the options visually (sides, some pre cooked entrees desserts and beverages) order pay at the end of the line where they give you a number and then seat yourself there is indoor seating as well as some outdoor patio seating as well. I live within walking distance of Sasool and visit an embarrassing number of times each week. All the food is always fresh and delicious. The employees are very attentive and efficient. On Fridays and Saturdays they have a salmon entree that I get for my Mom every week. The salmon comes with curried rice but I get the Lebanese rice instead. The Lebanese green beans are in a stewed tomato sauce and nice and tangy. They have spanikopita on Fridays and sometimes Saturdays. I usually get 3 or 4 pieces to go and heat it up in aluminum foil in the air fryer throughout the week. You can also get spanikopita as an entree with two sides on Fridays. Some other favorites are Autumn Root Salad with beets, carrots and walnuts and Fatoush when it's really fresh and crisp. Their pitas are delicious and they're very generous with them. You can see them baking the pitas in back of where the cashiers are. Also, look for the TV playing videos showing how the pitas are made. It's to the left of where the line forms. Pro Tip: Get there before 6:30 PM if you don't want to wait in a long line. The line goes fast but it can get really warm from the ovens when you're standing close to the cash registers waiting to check out. read more

Catered our event through Sasool, who also owns the venue (FigMint Farms) a complete letdown on every front. Do not trust them with your event. We chose Sasool to cater our daughter's graduation celebration at FigMint Farms a venue that Sasool also owns and manages assuming that having the food, the catering staff, and the venue all under one operation would guarantee a smooth, quality experience. It was anything but. If anything, controlling every part of the event gave them no excuses, and they still failed at all of it. The food arrived late and threw the entire timeline of our event into chaos. When it finally showed up, there weren't even enough plates for our guests despite the fact that fewer people attended than the headcount we paid for. What were guests supposed to do, eat off napkins? For what we paid, that level of carelessness is inexcusable. It got worse from there. We ran out of food in the middle of the event, and not because there wasn't enough. The catering staff had quietly left multiple trays sitting in a warmer out of sight and never told us, never mentioned it to anyone coordinating the event, and never said a word as our guests went hungry. We only discovered the untouched trays after everything was over. Many of our guests left without eating at all. We paid for full catering, and people walked out hungry because the staff couldn't be bothered to bring out food they had already prepared and then hidden away. The warning signs were there from the start. When we tried to plan the event, we scheduled a 9 AM meeting with their planning manager at the restaurant on Mother's Day weekend a date and time she personally confirmed three separate times that same week. We showed up; she didn't. Staff casually told us she had left to travel for the holiday. No call, no heads-up, nothing. And the aftermath has been just as telling. We've reached out repeatedly since the event, including emailing directly to explain that we had a terrible experience. The response? Not even a courtesy c to check on what happened and why our expertise was bad. They were glad to take our money and then disappeared the moment there was a problem to answer for. Between the restaurant and the venue, this is one operation that controls the entire experience and still managed to ruin a milestone celebration. The food was not worth the price, and the service was a disaster from planning to cleanup. Unless you're prepared to manage and double-check every detail yourself, do not rely on Sasool or FigMint Farms for your event. We won't be back. read more

Sassool has catered two events I have attended in the Triangle and the food was incredible. I took my family an hour and a half from Greensboro to the Cary, NC location and oh my goodness it was worth it! Even driving through scary thunderstorms. Sassool is Lebanese Mediterranean. I've only had green Mediterranean prior to now and Lebanese is next level! The cilantro hummus is everything!!!! And it came with four fresh pitas! The grape leaves were so good and the chicken kabob was so good. I got the walnut baklava which was good. The prices are so reasonable! Large pieces drenched in honey, just wonderful, so much so I would go once a week and buy $20 of it just for weekly snacks.
