We were warmly greeted by staff upon entering, and they helped us choose our toppings for our bowl. My spouse and I both built our own bowl with steak and picked our different bases and toppings. They did accidentally add the chimichurri sauce to my steak, but it's okay! It was good! My spouses steak was a bit chewy and not super well cooked, but the rest of the bowl was good! I really, really liked the green sauce you can get at the end, I think it's their signature green sauce. I also liked their hummus and the tabouli salad. I will definitely return to try their chicken topping next time, and maybe a different base. Oh and to add more green sauce!

Had lunch here and it was really light and refreshing! The food was well seasoned, there were plenty of options and the price is affordable. My bowl was really good and I can see myself coming back again. Service was quick and the server was friendly and talkative. It's cute and clean inside. You can sit inside or outside!

The restaurant was clean, well lit and presentable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they did a great job explaining the menu. I always enjoy a good BYOB experience. I had a bowl with half rice and chickpea base, Char-Grill Chicken, lettuce, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese and cilantro jalapeño drizzle on top. This combination was fantastic. I love that all the drinks are bottles and there is a large selection. I look forward to coming back again soon!

Amazing service, nice employees that walked me through what was in everything because I'm unfamiliar with what I like here, and the food. Oh, the food! I got a half rice/lettuce bowl with braised lamb on top and delicious toppings. At the end, I asked for pita to dip in it and they sliced it up for me! We will definitely be back. Cava, good bye. Pita bowl, you made a friend!

Stopped by on a Sunday evening to pick up bowls to go. I chose a combo of romaine and rice for my base and chicken shawarma for my protein. After choosing your base and protein you can choose unlimited toppings-- Tatziki, hummus, beets, onions, etc. for my finishing sauce I chose their new green sauce which the employee described as a cilantro/jalapeno sauce. The bowl was good sized and so flavorful. Employees were friendly and helpful. Great place to pick up a quick, healthyish meal.

This is my second time getting Pita Bowl for lunch and it is quickly becoming my new favorite lunch spot! I always order ahead of time and it is always ready within 5-10 minutes of my requested order time. The inside is decent sized with tables and hightop seating. There is outside seating as well. Everything comes out warm because it is made fresh and that translates into the amazing flavor! We have gotten pita bowls both times, one with chicken shawarma and one with shaved lamb. Both meat options were phenomenal, flavorful, and warm at pickup. All the toppings are delicious, many to choose from, and you can get as many as you want with no extra charge! The cilantro potatoes come out crispy and hot, so those are always a great topping. Dipping the warm pita bread in the garlic sauce and tzatziki is another favorite of mine here. Highly recommend and will be back for more lunches!

Food: 4 Service: 5 Ambience: 4 Date/Time: 1/6/2023 8pm Order: Wrap w/chicken/hummus/tzatziki/tomatoes, Bowl w/shawarma chicken/hummus/basmati rice/and more, side of roasted red pepper hummus Crowd: empty This fast food Mediterranean place is located in the Food Lion shopping center on Leesville Rd just south of I-540. The place is nicely decorated with a small number of table/chairs sitting at the entrance and 3/4 of the left wall lined with a long counter with stools. For some reason they had their ceiling fans going at full speed so it was a bit chilly. Off to the right is the serving counter. Ordered the food online using their website which was pretty easy to navigate, and offered either pick up or dine in. The original choice was to dine in, but with the fans blowing cold air, the decision changed to pick up. The person making the order seemed very meticulous with the order making sure he didn't miss anything. And, yes, everything was made exactly to the order so that helps to know your order will be accurate if you go online. The food was good with the combinations mentioned above. The roasted red pepper hummus was a little heavy on the red pepper and seemed sugary as well. The pita that comes with it is paper thin so putting a glob of hummus on it makes for a challenge to keep it from dropping in your lap. Best to break off a piece and then put the hummus on it. The char grilled chicken was tasty and tender and the shawarma chicken had a bit of dryness to it, but still good. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a pretty tasty Mediterranean mix in a bowl, wrap or pita. If you prefer your Mediterranean meal items separated out, I'm not sure they offer it. And, with it mixed, it's hard to compare it to places like Taza Grill or Greek Fiesta. Maybe more comparable to Mezeh.

Yum, delicious and nutritious Mediterranean bowls and sandwiches. After noticing this place while in the plaza about a week ago, we chose to give it a try for dinner. We used their convenient online ordering system to select entrees and desserts. We both chose bowls and baklava. They offer customizable bowls that are easy to design online. Mine included falafel, rice, tzatziki, onions, corn salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, and pickled turnips. The bowl was large, flavorful, and balanced. I followed it up with a sweet, crunchy slice of baklava. The bowls are reasonably priced at $13 each. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and recommend this restaurant to others!

Food was amazing! Generous portions. Hot and succulent proteins - lamb, shawarma chicken, chimichurri steak, falafel, and MORE! Fresh veggies and toppings. GREAT fries. Churros were amazing. Just delicious! Service was great! Very friendly and competent staff. So polite! Also very fast and efficient. They worked great as a team. Did not see a single person dragging or without a smile. Just superior all around. Ambience is clean and organized. We'll lit. Indoor and outdoor (covered and shaded) seating available. Music is contemporary, high energy, but not too loud. Parking is easy. Clean restrooms! Could use a coat of paint, otherwise no complaints. Prices are a bit higher, but reasonable - especially given the portion sizes. Looking at around $15-$20 per person for main, sides, drink, and dessert. Most things are big enough to split - though you probably won't want to share! They have a kids menu too! Great spot for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend! Overall, 9.5/10.

We dined at their lovely bar back in the first months of their opening, and it was good. We had met the general manager, Red, and were impressed with the flavors of our one appetizer, Calabrian Chicken, yet we never rushed back. Now, we feel compelled to return ASAP to enjoy these exceptional flavors, fabulous teamwork system of service, and a comfortable chic atmosphere. The place was happening at 5:45 pm on our recent dining night out with friends. Grateful to have a reservation we were seated at a very comfortable banquette type of seating. It felt like dining in a friend's home. Our server, William, is excellent at his job. Very efficient, great input on food choices, and quite personable. The meal started off with a burst of flavor as we enjoyed their fairly new offering of a ceviche called Eye of the Tiger that featured a sauce you can never get enough of. Wish their bread service was a bit more inspired, but the Le Farm bread did soak up some of the various sauces sent out from a very inspired kitchen team. Food runners help make certain the tapas come out fresh and hot when needed. They are a friendly group of hospitality workers who seem to genuinely enjoy their work and treat their guests with sincere appreciation. It all starts at the top, and GM Red is a personable and sound leader. We loved the Chef's pasta, our octopus dish was stellar, the Calabrian Chicken almost stole the show, but the unctuous flavors on the plate of the Seared Halloumi was hands down my favorite. I love how this culinary team can crank out such outstanding flavors table to table and patron to patron without missing a beat. The energy in the room must feed their souls & for that we are grateful. Lastly I wish to mention the thoughtfully curated wine list where my husband discovered a treasure of a wine from the Familia Torres brand. It was exquisite and paired perfectly with Madre's flavors. Our friend who frequent their bar often rave about their Mezcal margarita! Another visit. See you soon Madre familia!

Truly, though, I'm here often and love it - my dear friend and I are both heavy-duty allergy kids and the Madre squad is exquisite at managing cross-contamination and adapting plates to be accommodating. If you have nothing else, order the cauliflower with the green goddess dressing. Maybe order that two or three times, actually. The salchipapas are probably my favorite app in Raleigh. Also, the owners are both super cute, and the Bryan Costello design is magnifique. I would hire that man to redo my entire home to feel like Madre.

The chicken shish kabob and lamb kabob were both flavorful and cooked well. Those were definitely the highlights of the meal. The disappointing part was that they were already out of the Doner plate by 2:30 p.m., even though we came for dinner service. It was frustrating because that's one of the main dishes people go there for. What really stopped me from giving this place a higher rating was the condition of the men's bathroom. It was pretty gross, with visible mold and a wet towel on the floor that looked like it was there because of a leaking toilet. A lot of people say the bathroom reflects how clean the restaurant is overall, and honestly that crossed my mind while eating there. The food and service were good, but the restaurant really needs to improve the cleanliness and do a better job keeping popular menu items available.

The highlights for us were the spicy feta and the salmon, both of which had great flavor. The lowlight was the chicken, which was way overcooked and ended up tough and pretty tasteless. Service unfortunately dragged the experience down quite a bit. It felt like we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came by with menus, then another 15 minutes before our drink orders were taken. Once we finally ordered everything, the food actually came out fairly quickly. But by the end of the meal we were basically hunting for our server. At one point we both separately went to the bathroom (including a trip to the one downstairs) and still had not seen our server to try to get the check. Overall, come for the rooftop atmosphere, but I would recommend ordering all of your drinks and food at once so you can just sit back and enjoy the patio without waiting around for service.
