The ambiance is really nice! Best boba I've had in a while and I was able to order and be out within 5 minutes So many sweet treats! I had to grab a few goodies! I will definitely be back
Nice decor and beautiful interior. It's bright and warm, I love all the seasonal decorations. The chairs are the comfiest I've ever used at a boba / dessert place. Staff were sweet and worked fast as well. I got the mango lover which had a good variety of small mango desserts. Taro milk tea was good, I got it less sweet. Overall great amount for the price as well!
This place has delicious ice creams, smoothies, and cakes! The mousse cake is incredible. I love the watermelon smoothie because it's so refreshing.
I came here with my friends on last Wednesday around 8:30. First I like the say the layout the minimal decor was really nice. Very clean and Serene. 1. We got the Strawberry Snow Ice. It came with lots of strawberries, a scoop of strawberry ice cream, whipped cream and strawberry sauce. The ice was really nice and creamy. For my own personal taste I think I could gone with less of the strawberry or without. I found the strawberry a little to tart. (4.5/5) 2. We also got a Chocolate Rolled crepe cake. It was really good, creamy and soft. The chocolate flavor was very smooth and not to heavy. (5/5) The service was really quick. I accidentally left my keys here and by the time I realize they were already closed. The next day I called and my friend came to pick it up and the person on the phone was really nice. I don't know if I would come here again since I came from out of town.
Came back here again after years!! Tried shaved mango ice this time and boy I cannot believe they also have durian pancake and durian layer cake!!!! Those were sooo amazing!! Mango sagoo, my family still complaining about the lack of sagoo. It was still very good though!! We came in 1 hour before closing so it's completely empty and quiet. It was nice enough ambience that I could do my meeting outside. 10/10 will come back!
This place was clean and neat.Different varieties of milk tea to choose from.We enjoyed the mango snow ice but it's a huge quantity and can be shared at-least with two or three people. The matcha milk tea didn't taste so good. The coconut milk tea was good,We asked coconut milk tea with mango topping boba and the person in charge gave a brown sugar one,When asked he was like we can't do anything about it. The mango lover is good and refreshing. Enjoyed and customer service can be more friendly.
Their mango jasmine green tea is delightful! 50% sweetness was perfect. It has a lot of pulp and stuff in it, which I didn't mind because it meant it was made with fresh fruit!
TLDR: Refreshing, flavorful beverages and delectable crepe cakes! We stopped here for a quick drink while waiting for a table at First Watch. We found this shop by searching the map for a nearby cafe. Thankfully sweet room was open on a Sunday earlier than the nearby cafes. The cafe was spacious with multiple display cases, seating, ordering counter, and clean restrooms. The display cases in the middle were sparse. The case along the left wall was full of crepe cakes and other items. It seemed only one employee was working. We ordered a crepe cake and 3 beverages (rose milk tea with boba, strawberry made with dairy-free milk, and mango jasmine tea with lychee jelly). I liked how she made the beverages so that they were ready at the same time. We enjoyed all of our drinks, more so than many other boba tea places we have visited. Although I did not like the durian flavor, the texture of the crepe cake was perfect. Overall, we had a great visit here and recommend this cafe to others!
I enjoyed the Thai Milk Tea & boba. There was a wide selection of pastries and sweets! Nice seating inside and very friendly staff.
A great place to pick up a sweet treat. The mango snow ice is so yummy! It tastes exactly like a mango. It was a little disappointing to see that the presentation of the snow ice has changed & not for the better. I tried the mochi donuts but they were a little stale - I probably wouldn't get them next time. The service was good - everyone was nice & helpful.
Hubby and I decided to stop by after dinner today for a sweet treat. We are not boba snobs, but we do love a good tea when needed. Sweet Room does have quite a few green tea options, but only one size cup (shown in photo). They only have smaller sized cups for the smoothies, which was a bit of a bummer. They also do not have any lactose free milk options (yet!), so I could not order a latte. Maybe I'll come back when they get different cup sizes and more milk options! However, the crepes look delicious! 6.5/10 - pls provide cup size varieties & other milk options!
Such a cute place for boba and dessert. It's very minimalistic yet cozy inside. Staff was friendly and helpful explaining items on the menu. The mango shaved icecream is the perfect refreshing dessert that fed 4 people. Will definitely be back !
Good but not great. I honestly felt like my strawberry milk boba tea had too much of the strawberry jam. It tasted more like a strawberry jam sandwich and was tough to drink. I only took a few sips and had to toss it due to the overwhelming taste. I would like to try something else on the menu in the near future.

From all the boba tea spots that I've been to, they probably have the best Coffee boba. I didn't customize it and it had a taste spot on. They have pastries and cakes. I might have to taste their cakes next time like the crepe cakes. The lady who was there is not pushy and knew exactly when she needs to head to the cash to take orders. I feel like it's a good place to study or a place to meet for a project. The music is not too high and they have ample space for a meet up. Also, if you want boba or treats delivered to you, you can order through a take away app. read more
From all the pictures I saw on Yelp, I had high expectations for this place. Well, let me start with the positive. The place itself was really pretty. Great, lofty space...and nicely decorated throughout. Now comes all the disappointments. First of all, I was the one customer when I stopped in around 2:30 pm...and while the place itself was nice, it felt kind of stale. Total silence...no music. I also noticed that they changed things...for the worse. They no longer had on the menu this trio sampler that I had my heart set on. Also, I didn't find their drink menu that appetizing. Also, everything was now served in paper cartons...not actual plates and cups. This is a running pet peeve of mine. Since Covid, many cafes and bakeries have downscaled on cups, plates and utensils...to serve everything in cheap to-go wares. I expect that type of vibe at fast foods, like McDonald's and Taco Bell...not nice cafes and bakeries. I ordered this soupy dessert (forgot the name), along with this Crepe Cake, and this Mango Fruity drink. Truly, each and every item was forgettable. Just not that good. Then the service... dead-pan. The lady at the counter had this rude-cold demeanor, and did not flick even a slight smile even once. So yeah...NOT great all around. Aside from the place being so attractive, the foods, the presentation and the service was far below what you'd expect from a nice cafe-bakery. A huge disappointment. read more
A bit of hidden gem that has a lots of potential. We learned about this through some friends. While the location is a bit unassuming - the LIDL grocery store next door is has shutdown - this location seems to have difficulty keeping a grocery open (it has gone through numerous iterations). We were interested mainly in shaved ice ice-cream concept that is not so common. We had tried strawberry flavored and this time we got large mango flavored snow ice. It was awesome. The serving size (we got large) was humungous - you could feed your whole family with it. The people are nice. I would give this five stars if they modernized a bit - wrote menus that were easier to read to american customers. They have many of the cakes too but I didn't see those on the menu and website. I will definitely be back for tumeric latte sometime again. read more

Large seating capacity and bright lighting, the staffs were patient and answered all my questions on how the food and drink were prepared. I got the white peach with cheese foam and matcha crepe roll. I thought the peach milk cap would be too sweet, but it was tasty with a hint of tea flavor, I liked it a lot and that cup didn't last long in my hand. I haven't taste the crepe roll yet, but it is looking good! read more
Atmosphere: Sweet Room is a cute and clean dessert cafe that was surprisingly spacious inside. We went later at night, so there weren't many people in the store. Service: Ordering was smooth, and our desserts came out in a quick manner. Food: We ordered the Mango Strawberry Sago and Mango Mille Crepe Cake. The Mango Strawberry Sago was alright but not extremely memorable -- we thought that the mango and strawberry slush overpowered the dessert and made it harder to appreciate the sago. To add, the Mango Mille Crepe Cake was bland, and we found that the crepe to cream ratio was off, as there was too much cream in comparison to the number of crepes. This reduced the delicate quality of a crepe cake, leaving us with a dense, mushy cake instead. Overall: Our experience at Sweet Room was overall rather forgettable. We struggled to finish the Mango Strawberry Sago, and we were a little let down by the Mango Mille Crepe Cake, which left us feeling like we didn't get a refreshing, sweet tooth fix after our dinner. read more

As you can see from the photograph, the peach milk drink I ordered came in a cool reusable cup. Like a fine wine it pairs nicely with my 95th anniversary White Castle Coca Cola glass. So I'll be keeping it and after I die both items will fetch a hefty price at my estate sale. Maybe as much as a quarter. So... Sweet Room has that going for it. But as long time customers of Meet Fresh we were hoping for something equal to or better in taste that is in Cary so we don't have to drive all the way to Chapel Hill. Unfortunately this wasn't it. The peach milk was... well... milk with some processed very small bits of peach with peach syrup. It is something you might get at an overpriced amusement park like Disneyworld for $10 so I guess I did get a bargain at just $5.70 not including tax and tip. But I did miss out on any Mickey Mouse shaped lid. I didn't finish it so that why I'm hoping to at least bank that quarter in the future! My spouse ordered a mango something or other. She didn't finish it either. I tried a few bites. Honestly, tasted like peaches more than mango and was drowning in heavy syrup. No rice, shaved ice or other base was included. Very basic. Let me repeat... VERY BASIC especially for the hefty price. The staff were nice and the place was nicely decorated and very clean. We loved the little bamboo serving trays. We travel to Asia alot and are very familiar with these types of deserts. But in the end I doubt we'll go back. If they can get their quality and variety of ingredients per dish up to Meet Fresh standards we might take a chance. Until then it is hard pass. read more
Where else can you find snow ice? Love! The mango snow ice! The drinks are also refreshing and how you can cater your sweet/ice levels (like most places now). I always tend to get the more citrusy, grapefruit or yuzu flavors. And they have a really good refreshing grapefruit fruit tea drink. I've been back a few times now and if I'm very in that neck of Cary, I always make it a point to stop by. They have these shredded pork sandwiches on weekends that are really good, too! Check out Sweet Room - plenty of parking! read more

Stumbled upon this place while just taking a stroll around the strip mall. It's located right next to Aquatots and Lidl. So far I only stopped in to order a mango smoothie for 6 bucks so I can only review based on that at the moment. It was very thick for my liking and hard to drink out of the straw. You had to use a lot of force to suck out the content. Seemed like it was a lot of super thick super sweet mango puree and not enough water/liquid. I wish they would have added milk in it. Had to wait a while to let the ice melt in order to liquify it more. Taste wise, basically like eating mango mainly because it was mostly puree. I was only able to tolerate and drink about half of it before having to trash the rest. They've got a lot of other desserts and treats like sagos, crepes, rice balls, etc. I've yet to try but will definitely give another chance to try those at later dates since I'll be in the area every weekend. Overall for the time being, my recommendation for the smoothies are a no-go. Review for the other desserts pending. read more

"Oh that's some good boba" per my 10 year old. After a long Friday we were looking for a place to relax. We came across the sweet room and it was just what we needed. She got the strawberry boba and I got a Vietnamese coffee. The barista was pleasant and the minimal decor really made it seem cozy. The desserts looked amazing (although we didn't get one). Definitely going back. read more
The business has been around the area for about a year. One of the better dessert shops that is not only boba-oriented in the RDU. The setting is quite chic/minimalistic design; plenty of places to sit. Quick service! Tasty chinese inspired desserts- crepe cakes, mango sago, boba, coffee, etc! read more

Came back to try their desserts. Mango milk crepe cake was a very generous portion and plated beautifully. Mango sago pomelo and mango sago strawberry was very refreshing and reminded me of an açaí bowl. Sago is basically tapioca. The teas were outstanding. The jasmine green tea with cheese foam was a delightful combination of savory and creamy with cool, sweet & floral. Well worth the price! read more
It's such a cute and cozy cafe to visit. The colors make the cafe very vibrant and the decor/aesthetic is satisfying. The menu offers a variety of teas and desserts to choose from! The mango and strawberry shaved ice was delicious and satisfies a sweet tooth craving. It definitely serves 3-4 people versus 2 people. The green milk crepe cake was really good, soft and not too sweet for those who do not have a high sweet tooth. The cashier was very friendly, patient and kind. I'll definitely come back! read more

Fantastic spot for sweet treats on the border of Apex and Cary. Very unique, but incredible flavor. We ordered the Mango and Coconut Ice Cream for our daughter. It was creamy and the flavors were amazing. I had the Oreo Cream Crepe Pie. It was soft and creamy, sweet but not over the top at all. Highly recommend! read more

We came here for dessert and this place did not disappoint! The inside was super clean and bright. And the service was quick and friendly. The crepe cakes they have are delicious and are not overly sweet which is perfect for me. Their Mango lover was really good because there was a lot of variety in that dessert and it all tasted great. The Mango Sago and Pomelo with added Rice balls was also delicious! They use real fruit and I'm glad you can change the toppings (such as adding rice balls) because I couldn't decide between the chewy rice balls and sago so I'm glad I got both! I haven't seen many other dessert places like this one around and this reminds me of all the great Asian dessert places in Cali! I'll be back read more

really unique & aesthetic place for dessert! a good variety of crepe cakes, snow ice, sago desserts, & milk teas! we ordered take out after having dinner nearby. we ordered a mango milk crepe cake & mango strawberry sago, which was just enough for our appetite! the balance and texture difference was so perfect, i definitely recommend having both if you were going to eat one or the other! the atmosphere inside was super welcoming, you could see the display of cakes available & there were menus at the counter for you. i did wait a bit to be noticed to pick up my order but there were probably many pick up orders they were working on before someone else in the back came out to give service. we ended up eating outside as they had some outdoor seating as well since the weather was so nice during sunset. definitely coming back to try other combos as they have such a huge variety! read more
