I pulled up to Waves Shave Ice in Holly Springs, ready to cool down and live my best life. Instead, I got a front-row seat to a sweaty comedy. Stood in line for over 60 minutes under the blazing sun -- no shade, no misting fans, not even a warning flare. Then, just as I get close to the window... "Sorry, our ice machine just broke." Ma'am. Sir. ONE ice machine? In the peak of summer? With this kind of traffic? Y'all need at least two, maybe even three. This place is too popular to be operating like a home kitchen with one blender on life support. They need to treat this like a concert venue, not a lemonade stand.
