Ask for some spicy salsa. These are all absolutely delicious! For the less adventurous, they have some standard Mexican fare (burritos, enchiladas etc...) as well. Service was very attentive and quick. This is a small space so the seating is pretty tight. Had honestly expected quick-serve but this is full service.

When we arrived, we asked for a table of two and instead of asking where we'd like to sit they immediately offered us a table outside and then the next table they tried to offer us was right in front next to the hostess desk so we had to ask for another table if not, we opted to go to the bar and they finally gave us a table. When we sat down, our server came up to us right away. They delivered chips and salsa, which were delicious. I do appreciate that they gave us our own salsa dish for the two people in our party for dinner. The cocktails are massive. They come in 20 ounce and 40 ounce sizes. I had the pineapple jalapeño margarita which was good although I did not taste a lot of tequila. We started with the three dip appetizer, which was guacamole, queso, and bean dip, all of which were so good. For dinner, I had the grilled steak tacos. My husband had the shrimp and chorizo tacos. Everything tasted delicious. They both came with a side of rice and beans, which were also very good. The flavors were there. I would recommend going here. Dinner was pretty affordable and it's a lot of food. I would definitely just space out the timing of your food cause once we put the order in for our entrées came out within five minutes that would be my only thing that I did not like about it was how quickly the food came out. We ordered dessert to go and both my husband and I were shocked at how big this Chocoflan was. It looks delicious. We can't wait to try it. I am sure we will be back.

We were shouting our order to our server who could not hear us. A family dinner out with no conversation as we could not hear each other (we were a party of 4). I poured half into my husband's water cup and filled it up with water to dilute it and it will didn't help Overall a terrible dining experience.

Great-tasting authentic Mexican food!…read more I had two tacos and some pinto beans. (under $10) The tortillas tasted homemade and had that slightly grill, char taste to them. The chicken was ground up into small, crispy bites. The topping was like a pico de gallo without tomatoes and the hot sauce that came with them was absolutely perfect, spicy but not too hot. I love spicy but I think for most people the spice level would be just right. At some point soon I'll try the tamales...they have a fairly large menu with meat and seafood dishes. It was very noisy inside because a soccer game was on and it's Father's Day today but there's lots of outside seating and even though it was hot, it was still a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended! These tacos were better than some I've had at beach-side restaurants in San Diego.
