Cocoa Cream/Orignal Wow ($5.25+)
Sawako Y.

4.5 / 5.0 - Stopped by yesterday for some bubble tea. It was a warm, summer day and their air conditioner was broken, so it was hot inside even with the fan. The store was clean, though, and the staff was very friendly. Fortunately, they had a couple of tables outside in the shade, so we took our drinks outside. I ordered the Cocoa Cream/Orignal Wow ($5.25+), which comes with delicious, chewy brown sugar boba. It's the perfect drink if you're looking for something sweet and delicious.

Taro Slush with Boba Pearls

What an awesome spot for a quality boba tea shop! When you have a "Kung Fu Tea" in your area, it's a sign that the area is getting hot! This particular area is filled with shopping and restaurants but rarely do you see a dedicated boba tea shop. I used to have to drive to Cary or Raleigh to grab my boba fix but luckily this location is not far from where I live and work; which can be quite dangerous when it comes to my sugar intake--but you only live once! Stopped by after dinner for dessert. The customer service was wonderful and super friendly. My taro slush was on point! They sure didn't cheap out on the pearls! Totally quality meets quantity! I'm excited to try other items in the menu. I'll be back! Please stop by to support this establishment!

Matcha Milk and Thai Milk Tea

I was never a boba fan until I found this place. I started out w coconut milk tea. It was good. I tried the Thai milk tea and that was delicious. It's my daughters fav but she loves extra boba! Then I had a Matcha milk cap! I am absolutely obsessed w matcha now and that is all I want to drink. I tasted the boba there and it's taste pretty good but still don't want it in my drink so I do not order boba. My daughter loves boba and my son loves the one w Oreos! Now they sell croffles! I didn't taste them but definitely will next time.

I wasn't particularly wowed by this place because of how dry the barista was and because the menu seemed pretty standard, but I think it's a solid option for bubble tea. I stuck to a pretty classic option and got large oolong milk tea with bubbles. It tasted great, that said it's honestly a hard-to-mess-up drink so I expected nothing less. 30% sugar level was just enough sweetness for me, I don't think I would get it up to even 50%. Boba had great texture, soft, squishy, chewy big bubbles with a distinct brown sugar and honey flavor, it was on point.

Coffee Milk Tea with Boba

I have been to many other locations of this chain and this location was amazing. It was incredibly clean and the staff was very friendly. They have a much more readable menu compared to some other locations and our service was quick and accurate. Will definitely be stopping in again soon.

Medium Caribbean breeze with mango jelly, popping bubbles and boba. No caffeine. Great option for kids or anyone who doesn't want caffeine.

They have the best coffee. Love how fresh the boba is. Only downside to this place is that they aren't open sooner than 11:30am. Service is meh.

If I'm in Brier Creek, please believe that I am getting me a large cup of fruit tea boba. With a small shop and popular location, they usually stay busy. Although it's been busier some times more than others, the staff is always diligently working to ensure all orders are made with care and as quickly as possible. Everything I have tried on the menu has been a hit and I usually try to get something new each time.

Mango milk tea with bubbles. Honey lemonade with aloe jelly.

As an expat in Asia the past 10 years, bubble teas is one of those that I crave daily. I was super excited to find Kung Fu Tea near my new place. There were ample of parking outside in the afternoon. I ordered a mango milk tea with bubbles without sugar. The drink itself was extremely sweet! The texture of the bubbles are tender with just the right chewiness; however, it tasted like high fructose corn syrup, not brown sugar. The mango milk tea itself has no tea taste. Again it's just loaded with more artificial sweetener. Maybe next time I'll give the basic black milk tea a try...

You wouldn't expect a bubble tea place near BJ's to be this good, but TeaQ is!! We came here one…read moreday after shopping at BJ's and were happily surprised at the service and the drink selection. As a tea shop, it's very small inside but is well decorated. Every drink I ordered at TeaQ is superb, and we regularly stop by for fun drinks. One day, we showed up right as the shop was closing and we parked outside trying to find another tea shop to go. Someone from inside came to knock on our windows to tell us that we can still order and she'd make them for us. That was such a kind gesture that I still remember to this day! If you are in this area, check out TeaQ. You might be surprised at how much you like it!

That said, there was a pretty strong smell coming from the nail salon next door that carried into the shop and made it hard to fully enjoy our drinks. I ordered the mango green tea with boba at 50% sweetness, and it was still way too sweet for my taste. One of my friends ordered her drink at 25% sweetness and felt the same way, so even with reduced sugar, the drinks were pretty overpowering. Service was quick and friendly, which was a plus. Overall, the drinks didn't really do it for me, and If I'm in the mood for boba, I'd probably check out another spot in the Triangle next time.

Living in NC,…read morethere really isn't an abundant amount of boba places to venture to, but it seems like this place is highly recommended by college students and local boba enthusiasts. Being so used to many boba options back in CA, it kind of makes it feel weird to struggle to find a boba place nearby. The location is pretty convenient for college kids or adults to chill with friends. Lots of tables and even a shelf with some board games you could play if you had an hour or two to pass in the area. I can't remember the name of the drink, but I remember it having butterfly pea and lemon... or yuzu. Drink is aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not sure if I tasted what the drink mentioned. Still, nice attempt at being trendy with the boba menu. Maybe they're known for their milk teas here? It was quite busy when we can on a Saturday evening before closing. :) Drinks took around 10 ish minutes to make, but staff were quick to take orders and make drinks. If I remember correctly, there were two people working that day-- least in the front!

I am shocked I have not yet written a review for Boba Baba, when I go all the time!…read more I am a huge fan of their strawberry matcha, and more recently, of their butterfly fresca! Both drinks are delicious, and bonus points for also offering lactose-free/plant milk! But be warned, they do not offer the plant milk for certain drinks, since some are pre-mixed. Definitely ask before ordering! I would also highly recommend the puff pastries and mochi donuts! I had to search through my photos to find my favs: the ube puff pastry & the strawberry mochi donut. The puff pastry is a large portion, and heavier, so you can definitely share. The mochi donut is nice and light, so these are better to get more than one flavor to try.

The server was really nice and knowledgeable I couldn't decide which popsicle I wanted and she help me choose. She said that the pineapple was popular but she liked the lime mint and that's what I went with because it sounded extremely refreshing. The popsicle was soooo delicious. It was refreshing and just enough of mint and just enough of lime. The popsicle was so good that we went back and got a second one this time the strawberry + cream and that one was just as good. It was, so I was given a tour of the shop and was explained on how the "system" worked. I decided to order the Mango flavor bubble tea, as bubble tea was my intention for the visit. Though I was very tempted by all the yummy yogurt options, so I think a return visit will be very soon!!! They had some wonderful fresh flavors of yogurt and even some odd ones that still looked tasty, like Taro. Huge and I mean HUGE selection of toppings! Anything from candies to chocolates to nuts to granola. A bar full of fresh fruits that all looked perfectly ripe and fresh. And then another section where you could add syrups and powders to your yogurt. My bubble tea was made to order, I would have loved to have seen them make it in front of me just to see the process. They make it in a back room instead. They had several flavors to choose from such as Mango, strawberry, coffee, green tea, taro and several others that I can't remember. They also make bubble tea smoothies, but they suggested I try the original for my first time. As for the bubble tea, yumm!! It's sweet and creamy and cold! Not too sweet, you can tell its just sweet from the fruit. I would have liked it to be a touch colder but maybe the smoothie style would satisfy that for me. The tapioca balls at the bottom make for an eye catching drink. They don't have much of a flavor but are fun to chew slightly and swallow. I also wanted to add how NICE the staff was!! So welcoming and lots of smiles!! I loved that! The store was spotless! Everything clean and fresh looking. Not a drop of sticky anywhere!!!! Lots of seating including outdoor seating which will be nice on cool nights. Good work citizen yogurt, I shall be back soon!!
