We tried Aladdin's Eatery on a beautiful Tuesday night before seeing a movie at the nearby Regal Theater. We were seated right away and Montana was our server, he was awesome! We love Shawarma, so she ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and I ordered beef shawarma plate. It took longer than we expected to get our food, so we asked Montana to have it packaged to go. There weren't many patrons in the restaurant at the time, and most had already had their meals when we arrived. We were able to get our food within a few minutes after asking for it to go and letting them know we had a movie to go to. We did get a chance to eat some of our food before rushing over to the theater. The beef was seasoned well and tender. The lemon garlic sauce was so good. The rice and vegetables were plentiful, plenty of chickpeas. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I did enjoy it. My daughter gave the Chicken wrap a 7 out of 10. There were some patrons dining in and several pick up orders during the hour we were there. I'd definitely go back and try some of the other menu options.

I really enjoyed my combo meal! The lamb was a little dry, but the chicken was excellent. I definitely recommend getting the garlic sauce As a side because it absolutely is the best part. The pita was thin and dry and overall not my favorite. I think the price is a little high, but I would still definitely go back if I'm craving Mediterranean food. I'm sure overall these things would've been a bit better if I ate inside!

A hidden gem! Fresh and good quality ingredients-that's all you need. Juice that's actually made to order from a real fruit/vegetable with no additives. Isn't it sad that it's so hard to find at restaurants? Aladdin's has it all. The juice was delicious and fresh. Everything was very good. My least favorite was the fried cauliflower-it seemed just a little too heavy for me. We've been a few times and will definitely visit again.

This place is a hidden gem that we stumbled upon for lunch that was close by. Small intimate and the staff gave great suggestions and descriptions. Everything had lots of flavor! The rolled Dijon chicken was very tasty, the cauliflower was so good. My husband had the steak tuna roll and that was so good that he ordered another one. Next time I'll save room for the smoothies because they have great options. Highly recommend

Flavor Savor special was so good. Loved the cauliflower appetizer too. Their homemade hot sauce was delicious. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Wendy provided great service.

The tuna pita roll is great, the flavor is really rich with sauce, onion, pickles inside The lamb plate is also good, the lamb is grilled just right and the rice is seasoned.

Stopped in here on Saturday afternoon at the busy Brier Creek Shopping area and ordered to go. We chose this eatery among the others because it featured Mediterranean food and looked affordably priced. I chose the Chicken Shawarma Rolled and a side of babaganoush with fresh pita. Baklava was ordered for a family member. The order was filled in a reasonable amount of time. We chose to eat outside in the shade at tables lined next to the restaurant and proceeded to enjoy our meal. The Chicken Shawarma rolled was much longer than anticipated. Filled with moist grilled chicken, onions and tomato, I enjoyed the ingredients enhanced by the lemon tahini sauce. The flavor of the babaganoush contained the right amount of seasoning and the texture was perfect for scooping with the pita. When I'm in the area again and in the mood for Mediterranean, I definitely would order here.

We ordered the grape leaves, baklava, namoora and tabbouli. I am Lebanese and these are staples in our home. The grape leaves were extremely dry and tough. The rice was very undercooked and the leaves themselves were so dry and tough we could barely chew through them. We ordered 12 and thought maybe it was a fluke but all 12 were completely inedible and we threw them out immediately. The baklava was okay, nothing to write home about. Very simple syrup forward and you couldn't taste much else (we ordered the walnut). The namoora was stale. Very dry. Namoora should melt in your mouth with with a slight chew. This was again, tough and stale. We threw those out as well. Lastly, our favorite salad, tabbouli. The lemon taste was nonexistent. The parsley wasn't chopped fine as Tabbouli should be. It was a watery mess. Overall, we won't be back. We spent over $75 on 4 items and left feeling hungry and bamboozled. There are other Lebanese food spots to visit in the Raleigh area, I will stick to those. Please do better when representing Lebanese cuisine. 15 workers behind the counter can seem like you're doing something right but in the end, it all comes down to the freshness and authenticity of what you are claiming to serve.

I've practically followed this place across states and cities. I discovered Aladdin's years ago when I lived in Northern Virginia. After that first visit, I was hooked and started going several times a year. When the Shirlington location closed, they reopened in Burke, and that became my new go‑to spot every time I visited the area. And then, heartbreak , they closed that location too. One day I randomly searched to see if they had opened anywhere else, and you won't believe it... they popped up right here in North Carolina, the same state I now live in! And while it's not in Charlotte, my brother lives in Raleigh, which means every trip to see him doubles as an excuse to visit Aladdin's. My usual order is the shawarma rolled, and trust me when I say it's the best! The savory, flavorful meat paired with those pickled veggies, plus all the heavenly spices and sauces, well t's just perfect! I've had shawarma at countless places over the years, and nothing even comes close to theirs. I typically grab an appetizer as well, dolmas or falafel. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish I've tried has been spectacular. Introduced my brother and wife to this place, and they've already been back! To give you an idea of how deep my love for this place goes, the last time I visited I ordered 4 extra shawarma rolls to go, froze them, and rationed them out at home. They don't hold up perfectly after being frozen but I did still enjoy every single one. Aladdin's will always be one of those rare restaurants that I go out of my way to visit and I'll continue to stop by as often as I possibly can. If you love Mediterranean flavors (Lebanese) this spot is a must!!!

I usually order the two chicken skewer kabobs with rice, a super salad, and the jalapeño cilantro hummus. The hummus is *so* good that I often grab a small container to take with me when I travel. His service was greatly appreciated as all of us wanted to make it somewhere to watch The Canes game! He was efficient with opening the wine and getting our dinner orders in right away. Thank you Diondre for a great start to our evening. All of us raved over our food. Two of our friends had the Tomahawk Pork Chop featuring spinach, barrel-aged feta, herb aioli, and yummy Greek lemon potatoes. Both people agreed the kitchen team cooked them perfectly. One person absolutely loved his fire-roasted lamb chops that also had the delicious Greek lemon potatoes. Another one of our friends loved her Chicken penne Mykonos which we have ordered to-go many times. It looks even better in the restaurant as it has spinach, feta, mushrooms, tomatoes, white wine lemon cream sauce, and parmesan. This dish is a must try when you visit Taverna Agora in downtown Raleigh. Lastly, someone at the table exclaimed that their grilled salmon was one of the best salmon dishes he had ever enjoyed as its unique presentation features pickled beetroot, sautéed spinach, and a lemon caper sauce. I had the Poseidon Branzino which was fabulous. The dish had roasted branzino, medley of sautéed cherry tomatoes and onions, fresh herb rice, and skordalia (I had to look up what that is - a fascinating Greek garlic puree). The blending of all those flavors made for a scrumptious dinner, and thanks to the kitchen team for preparing it perfectly so that I could even eat the skin of the fish. We shared two bottles of Assyrtiko wine which is one of our favorite Greek wines after visiting Greece a few years ago. The wine list at Taverna is simple but thorough and fun to experiment with. Walking in you'll feel like you've been transported to a village like, Greek atmosphere. To sit down you'll check in with the host and then be seated either inside or on the rooftop. We opted for the rooftop as it was a nice evening. To start I ordered the Baklava Old Fashioned (Bulleit bourbon, homemade baklava syrup, Angostura bitters, and Amarena cherries) which was amazing. Next we ordered the trio of all three spreads (Tzatziki, sun-dried tomato hummus, and spicy feta spread) and the calamari. Both dishes were excellent and I definitely prefer the spicy feta and tzatziki sauce. For my main course I ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop (Chargrilled tomahawk chop, spinach, barrel-aged feta, herb aioli, Greek lemon potatoes) which was a bit disappointing. I probably should have sent the pork chop back as it was cooked well done and was very dry but was I was too hungry and didn't want to make my parents wait. For dessert I ordered Baklava Cheesecake (New York-style cheesecake with nuts and baklava filling) which was very nice and my mom ordered the Limoncello cake (lemon cake with lemon cream frosting) which was definitely the star of the show. If I'm back downtown I may try Taverna Agora again but will definitely avoid ordering the pork chop.
