Love the freshness of teas and creativity a t Chun Yang ! One of the best in the area, this place is low key and in a new area of APEX next to Harris Teeter. I've tried several different ones and all have been awesome. Will definitely go back especially for the mango sago and winter melon tea

Writing another review because I can't get enough of their teas! I ordered the black tea latte (50% sweetness, less ice) and it was INCREDIBLE! So refreshing. Service was fast and the staff member at the cashier was very helpful when I was deciding what to order. Highly recommend Chun Yang for some delicious, fresh tea!

Brand new bubble tea spot located in the Sweetwater Apex community next to Harris Teeter! The interior is simple yet chic, with gold and black accents that give it a modern vibe. The staff is friendly and happy to explain the menu. Most drinks can be customized for sweetness, temperature, and size. The drinks are authentic and made quickly. We tried the raspberry oolong tea (iced) and the brown sugar boba. Both were fantastic!

Chun Yang just opened & is a welcome addition to the shops at Sweetwater. Chun Yang is a franchise based out of Taiwan. It's a small shop with some tables...perfect for socializing or remote working. The staff was very helpful in explaining the current specialties and very conscientious in ensuring that our teas had the right sweetness & ice levels. The teas itself were excellent. As an avid tea drinker, you could definitely taste the quality in their teas. I really enjoyed my honey osmanthus oolong which could easily become a new obsession for me. The other flavors were excellent as well.

I am shocked I have not yet written a review for Boba Baba, when I go all the time!…read more I am a huge fan of their strawberry matcha, and more recently, of their butterfly fresca! Both drinks are delicious, and bonus points for also offering lactose-free/plant milk! But be warned, they do not offer the plant milk for certain drinks, since some are pre-mixed. Definitely ask before ordering! I would also highly recommend the puff pastries and mochi donuts! I had to search through my photos to find my favs: the ube puff pastry & the strawberry mochi donut. The puff pastry is a large portion, and heavier, so you can definitely share. The mochi donut is nice and light, so these are better to get more than one flavor to try.

I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars--round up to 4 stars for nice customer service. Living in NC,…read morethere really isn't an abundant amount of boba places to venture to, but it seems like this place is highly recommended by college students and local boba enthusiasts. Being so used to many boba options back in CA, it kind of makes it feel weird to struggle to find a boba place nearby. The location is pretty convenient for college kids or adults to chill with friends. Lots of tables and even a shelf with some board games you could play if you had an hour or two to pass in the area. I can't remember the name of the drink, but I remember it having butterfly pea and lemon... or yuzu. Drink is aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not sure if I tasted what the drink mentioned. Still, nice attempt at being trendy with the boba menu. Maybe they're known for their milk teas here? It was quite busy when we can on a Saturday evening before closing. :) Drinks took around 10 ish minutes to make, but staff were quick to take orders and make drinks. If I remember correctly, there were two people working that day-- least in the front!

This is the 2nd Kung Fu Tea location we've been to, and our expectation wasn't great after trying…read moretheir teas multiple times in the first location. We ordered something we've never ordered in a Kung Fu Tea before: Brown Sugar milktea. This particular Kung Fu Tea spot is in a fantastic location, next to our favorite ramen spot, Miso Ramen Bar. My girl ordered 1 we'd share while we finish our meal. Feng Cha in Morrisville was about to close so Kung Fu was the only milktea place we can get one by 9 PM. The texture of the boba is perfect, and the amount is well-balanced for a $6+ milktea. My first sip of the milktea itself didn't last a great impression, however. While I can smell the fragrant smell of freshly-brewed tea, I could barely taste the brown sugar flavor and the milktea doesn't taste as creamy as Feng Cha's or Milklab's. Even Tiger Sugar near H-Mart served better quality brown sugar milktea but it's slightly better than Breco Tea's disappointing Brown Sugar milktea. In other words: This milktea is average compared to other Brown Sugar milkteas we've tried. My girl loves its aroma and she says it's not bad. Customer service is fast: Barrista was able to serve our drink in less than 5 minutes. Ambiance is fine, place looked clean. Overall, I see Kung Fu Tea Cary as the McDonald's of the milktea industry - franchise looks as strong as Quickly's. and it'll be enjoyable to a casual milktea customer. But why settle for average when there are other milktea spots that can offer higher quality blends for about the same price?

A friend of mine and I were in the area and decided to check it out. We both ordered a bubble tea. I ordered a Banh mi, while she ordered what looked like dumplings and a green looking dessert. I had really high hopes for the Banh mi, but what didn't sit right with me was that there was red onion in the Banh mi. I wish I knew this beforehand, otherwise I would have opted out. I do always wonder what the Banh mi would have tasted like without.. since the onion did greatly overpower the Banh mi. Despite that, the Tea Lounge was a nice place to hang out and even play some games. There is a wall of activities to partake in, which makes it inviting for people to want to chill and stay a while. While we were there, there were several people treating it like a coffee shop, with their laptops in full work-from-cafe mode. I like that a lot, because that means the wait staff aren't trying to push you out, instead, it's a place to truly enjoy the company of others, or yourself. Stop by and try everything here, but.... beware of the red onion!

"Vietnamese food and bubble tea next door to Duck Donuts!"…read more Came here for lunch on a Sunday-- super cute, bright little place with bubble tea, lunch foods, and LOTS of desserts. You can order either on the tablet by the door or by talking with the hostess. There's not a ton of seating, but there's some, including a few outside tables. I just got the Savory Golden Chicken bahn mi with kimchi added. My other dining partners got the bao buns and some bubble tea. Hostess seemed really friendly and was quick to help with any issues/ questions. Food came out in maybe 8 minutes. All of it was DELICIOUS. I loved the flavor of the chicken, and the bahn mi overall was outstanding. Heaping with meat and toppings, too-- it was a good quantity of food for a good price (under $15 for my dish). My dining partners loved their dishes too. Eager to come back and try more.
