    Cheese foam Hawaii tea
    Emily O.

One of the better boba spots in the triangle. I love the dongding milk tea--it's my go to! The tea tastes similar to Chi cha's dong ding back home! The boba portion is super generous! DO NOT get the cheese foam Hawaii tea! I was feeling adventurous and I tried sooo hard to like it but it didn't work for me. I had to tell the barista about the bitterness of the tea and she added more simple syrup to try to balance it out. It did not work! She was nice enough to substitute the drink out altogether with a new order! Inside is appropriate for a quick hangout spot but nothing interesting. The bathroom is spacious. No outlets so I would not study here.

"Boba Tea on Ninth Street in Durham" Came here on a Saturday afternoon -- it's basically directly across Ninth Street from Juju and Panera. It was surprisingly crowded with people either waiting for their orders, in line to order, or drinking their drinks, but there were still some seats available. One orders either using their mobile app (recommended for speed) or using one of two tablets in the store. I got the mango tea (no cheese foam), 70% sweet, half ice, and added coconut jellies. The store sent me an automated text saying my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. (Side-note: my wife wanted the purple yam bubble milk, but it was "sold out", so she got a mango bubble milk instead.) Fortunately, it didn't take quite that long-- probably closer to 10 despite the crowds. My tea came in a large plastic (possibly compostable? it had a funny texture) cup that had a covered hole, so easy to use. The quality and flavor combination was excellent. It was sweet but not overpowering. The ice was spot-on. And it was easy to drink. The price was reasonable for bubble tea (I think mine was around $7), especially given the primo location on Ninth Street. I will add that my son had one experience here wherein he came and they were out of most of the options, so I definitely recommend getting the app and ordering that way before trekking over. But overall, I'd definitely come back.

My classmates and I visited on a weekday afternoon to satisfy our boba cravings. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea, since I believe that taro wasn't available. I asked for 100% sugar and less ice. The branding is very cute (I mean, look at the cap on my boba!), however the flavor tasted a bit bland. Thankfully, the barista was gracious enough to add more syrup (?) to my drink to make it sweeter! Overall, we had a good experience here and will be back to satisfying more boba cravings.

I have a friend in Durham who swears that Moge Tee is up to California standards for milk tea, so I was intrigued and decided to try. I was surprised that the line was quite long for a weekday night, but then again, it is right next to a college campus. I ordered Cheese Foam Fresh Mango Tea and was surprised about how pricy it was. But I will say that the amount of tea they give you is quite insane and would justify the price a bit. All of their fruit teas, including this one, include whole fruit inside which I appreciate very much. Also, the salty cheese foam with the fresh tea definitely makes the best combination. Overall, would say that the fruit teas here are pretty good despite its higher prices. Would come back to try more of their other teas.

Now that I've been there a few times: Decent boba tea, but the quality of the boba really varies sometimes. Their fruit tea does seem to be more consistent. But there's not much competition in the area, and they are located conveniently on 9th street. Sometimes the wait can be as long as 30 minutes. I don't know if it's because they prioritized the walk in orders over the mobile app orders, but it definitely seemed like it. There's a worker there that is making the drinks and doesn't wear her mask.

    Very neat spot!

Cute boba tea shops are much needed in Durham and Moge Tee is a fantastic addition. They filled in a spot on 9th street where business has come and gone. I'm pretty sure that they can survive! With the hype of boba tea -- it's fantastic timing for them. I stopped in for a grapefruit tea. It was good. The best part was the atmosphere. Once covid is over, it'll become a hot spot; whether to hang out with friends or study. Lots of space for everyone!

Moge tee is one of my go to boba places in the triangle area. Each boba place has something that they do really well/focus on and with moge tee, i think it's their fruity drinks though I've not tried their milk teas. I always get some variation of a fruit slush w/ cheese foam + some kind of jelly +/- boba. I think the cheese foam with fruity drinks balance each other out well when you want something refreshing but you also want something creamy or salty to contrast it. Their fruity drinks are always refreshing and light. they are not going to be super sweet if that's more your speed.

This is my 2nd time visiting Moge Tea and it's such a cute shop! I've been wanting to try their creme brûlée milk tea because I heard it's popular, so I wanted to give it a try. It's good but personally the creme brûlée was heavy to my liking and I wasn't crazy about the texture. On a good note, their milk tea is spot on! I can taste both the milk AND the tea and I appreciate that because I don't like when the milk is overpowered by the tea itself. Overall, I would definitely come back and try out more of their menu!

Awesome boba tea place on 9th street! Finally! It is on the pricer side compared to other places like Quickly's and Yaya tea, but the quality of the tea is definitely more consistent. We have tried a variety of the flavors: Green milk tea, black milk tea, cheese foam mango tea, and hawaii bubble milk tea, just to name a few ;) We have not been disappointment the milk tea has reliably been on point. The boba does seem to vary but for the RDU triangle I would say it is still pretty good. I would plug SipCha for the most reliable boba.

Located centrally on 9th street, this is a great place to scratch your boba tea itch. Large drinks will run you $6 +/-. When covid ends their lobby would be a fun and bright place to hang out. They advertise a 10% discount just fir doing a Yelp check-in!!!

Really cute location. It not my favorite place for boba tea as I feel like the tea are just okay. I been twice so far. If I am in the area and craving boba I will probably try again but would not go out of my way. My husband and friend also felt the boba tea was just okay. Thet need to work on the flavor for their fruit teas.

Place looked really clean but was understaffed, the people who did attend me were really friendly, when I did receive my drink, it was really tasty, would recommend

Moge Tee has been on my list for months now, and I finally got a chance to try it with some friends! They had a variety of special drinks as well as classics. I would say there is something for everyone because one of my friends is not a milk tea or tapioca pearl person, but she found a drink that she enjoyed-- the Oreo milk tea w/ no boba pearls. I got the mango pomelo drink with a cheese foam. I thought the mango flavor was on the bland side, but the pomelo pieces really shined. I rarely get a cheese cap or foam in my drink, but I might start because it worked so nicely with the fruit flavors. The ordering process was quite simple with friendly staff as well as a self order station. The inside is one of the more spacious boba shops I've seen, with large tables toward the front and benches with small tables that line the back. I'm curious to try more from them!

Sometimes, these are not available, however. | Full Review My girl & I have been here multiple times to buy ingredients for Asian dishes. We often get fresh salmon and shrimps from the seafood section, and we appreciate how seafood here are generallt cheaper compared to H-Mart in Cary. However, H-Mart is still more reliable overall when it comes to other products like kimchi, Korean side dishes, marinated meats, and various other Asian products. Unlike H-Mart's Korean focus, Li Ming's is primarily Chinese, so it's more line Grand Asia Market in Raleigh. One good thing we like in Li Ming's over Grand Asia is that it's less crowded and more spacious areas. Although it can get crowded here at times, it doesn't feel as congested as Grand Asia's constant overflow of customers coming and going. However, when it comes to the different goods you can get from Grand Asia's restaurant/cafe/bakery, Li Ming's Global Mart falls short. All you can get in Li Ming's are mostly mediocre-tasting Chinese food that goes well with rice and some noodle bowls that may be too salty to some people. The bakery inside Li Ming's is nice; we used to buy egg tarts and curry bread here. It's no Tours les Jours but it's not bad. They also offer boba milk tea but we wouldn't recommend it. As for the canned/preserved/frozen foods in the grocery section, generally, we prefer Korean brands over Chinese ones, so overall, we still prefer going to H-Mart for buying Asian products. Just like in H-Mart, we've seen unfriendly customer service in Li Ming's but no major issues. The most problematic one was when we tried to dine-in and get the 3 choices of food with white rice, and the lady serving had an attitude, and did'nt put enough fish on our plate. | Overall Score: 3.3/5

We both ordered a bubble tea. I ordered a Banh mi, while she ordered what looked like dumplings and a green looking dessert. I had really high hopes for the Banh mi, but what didn't sit right with me was that there was red onion in the Banh mi. I wish I knew this beforehand, otherwise I would have opted out. I do always wonder what the Banh mi would have tasted like without.. since the onion did greatly overpower the Banh mi. Despite that, the Tea Lounge was a nice place to hang out and even play some games. There is a wall of activities to partake in, which makes it inviting for people to want to chill and stay a while. While we were there, there were several people treating it like a coffee shop, with their laptops in full work-from-cafe mode. I like that a lot, because that means the wait staff aren't trying to push you out, instead, it's a place to truly enjoy the company of others, or yourself. Stop by and try everything here, but.... beware of the red onion!

Bapu's ambiance inside looks artsy, with cute aesthetics and cool atmosphere. What stood out to me was the assortment of toppings displayed. The good thing: they look pretty colorful and fresh; the not-so-good thing: they're uncovered, so I'm not sure if they're clean. Nonetheless, it's convenient to see the different topping options you can add to your milk tea. I noticed Bapu uses the artificial purple taro powder for its milk tea instead of taro paste, so I eliminated that choice from my milk tea selection process. There was only one young employee who took orders and also made the milk teas when I went, but his customer service was good as he made fine recommendations and served my order fast. Unlike Boba Baba's eye-aching menu screens, Bapu Teahouse's menu overhead looks clear with photos, highlighting its special drinks. There are no kiosks here, so you'd have to order face-to-face. As the server recommended, I ordered the Brown Sugar Ice Milk (75% sweetness, light ice). It doesn't look as Instagram-worthy as Tiger Sugar's brown sugar milk teas, but it looks yummy enough, with brown sugar syrup clearly visible in Bapu's cute & translucent cup with ears. Bapu only serves 1 size for its drinks. When I ordered this, the server asked if I wanted boba. Most decent milk tea cafes I go to automatically already have the basic tapioca pearls or boba by default in their brown sugar milk tea drinks but Bapu charges extra for that. Brown Sugar Ice Milk is listed as $6. With the boba topping, I ended up paying a total of $7.76, which is slightly higher than average price of brown sugar boba milk teas in cafes I've been to. Compare that to Feng Cha in Morrisville, which offers Dirty Boba (brown sugar milk tea for only $6.25 with the boba already included, so Bapu's pricing here sounds like a joke. To be fair, the size of the cup is large enough, with its cute top that reminds me of Doraemon or Hello Kitty. The material of it doesn't look cheap and it feels fun to hold. The sweetness of the brown sugar flavor was just right. It might have been too sweet if it was set to 100% sweetness level, and it's still probably slightly sweet at 50% but my usual preference of 75% for any brown sugar milk tea was perfect here. The milk was deliciously-creamy with the fresh & chewy boba - perfect texture. Server did a good job blending with just the right amount of ice, good amount of brown sugar syrup & boba. It's not on the same level as Boba Baba's Brown Sugar Boba or Tiger Sugar's brown sugar drinks but it's better than many mediocre brown sugar milk teas I've tried in other cafes. Bapu Teahouse's menu is purely drinks, with a nice variety of milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies & iced coffee. Sadly, there are no snack or non-drink dessert options here that you can pair with your milk tea. It's not a big deal if you're only craving for a drink, and it looks like Bapu has a good selection of toppings to customize your order. Just prepare to pay extra for those. | Overall Score: 3.4/5 | Recommended Alternative: Sharetea in Morrisville
