The green apple Moscato sangria
Paper I.

Always a fun time at Olive Garden! They were super busy, but our server did a great job anyway. Took a while to get extra bread sticks, but as I said, they were swamped. Try the green apple Moscato sangria if you haven't. My favorite location.

Great experience at Olive Garden! I love getting the breadsticks with the dipping sauces and the spinach artichoke dip was very good. The chips that come with it are amazing, I always take those with me to go. I ordered the chicken and shrimp carbonara which is my favorite dish there. Our waiter was attentive and everything came out fresh. Also their peach raspberry tea is really good!

Our waiter, Blaine, couldn't have been better. In fact, particularly for such a young guy, he was exceptional!! Congenial, very attentive, and checked on us frequently, but not overly. We decided to get an entree rather than just the soup, salad, and bread sticks, but did start with those. We were offered refills and I did get another bowl of soup. I had some and gladly ended up taking much of it home since my entree arrived very soon. My spouse had the angel hair pasta with marinara, which she enjoyed, but probably enjoyed the salad even more. I've had a taste for fettuccine Alfredo, which I haven't had in years. I got it with shrimp and could taste a little garlic in it, but it could have used more, plus it was swimming in the rich sauce. I probably will go back to the soup, salad, and bread sticks next visit.

Today we took 19 pre-K students here for lunch. We arrived as soon as they open for lunch. It took them a while to get our tables ready, but we definitely understood why. Once we were seated we were greeted by our waitress. She was incredibly sweet, patient and good at her job. She did not get one order wrong! The food came out hot and all the kiddos enjoyed their food! My food was bland but I expected that lol.

Me and my Fiance were going to Olive Garden this evening, since we noticed that they recently opened.... however we forgot that it was "Friday." ***rolls eyes*** I know you're asking yourself - "How does ANYONE forget its Friday?" My answer: I don't know, we're still trying to figure that out! So anyhow, by it being Friday it was SUPER packed so we just did a ToGo order. (Only downside, our specified pick up time was 2 hours from our actual order.... which actually was okay, because we just did a little shopping in Brier Creek). I ordered Chicken Alfredo with angel hair pasta and added mushrooms (YUM!) my Fiance ordered the salmon with broccoli. We both got salad and bread! Salmon and Broccoli: my Fiance said it was "okay" however he felt like it would have probably been better if he ate it at the restaurant. Chicken Alfredo with Mushrooms: listen! My food was GREAT! The portion was more than enough, because I will be able to eat off of it at least twice. I will just suggest, if you do ToGo and get the salad, ask for extra dressing (I did)! That one little cup will not do much for all the salad that they give you! You'll thank me later! So - there is NO DOUBT, that our next experience will be US... EATING IN! Stay tuned....

Daughter's choice for her birthday dinner. Our party of 7 arrived at 5:40 on a Wednesday night. We were quoted a 45 minute to an hour wait. That was fine and we decided to wait but the frustrating thing was that we were at the top of the list to be seated but everyone coming in after us kept getting seated before us. I realize we had a bigger party but many parties of 5 and 6 were getting seated. Couldn't they push two tables together for us? We were finally seated after an hour and 10 minutes. We had the good fortune of an wonderful waiter named Preston. His memory is absolutely amazing. He never wrote anything down and got every order absolutely correct. The salad at OG is always delicious and I appreciate their big pours of wine. Tasted don's chicken gnocchi soup. Really good! I ordered the salmon and broccoli. It was meh. My husband grills a mean salmon so restaurant salmon rarely compares. I think our party was mainly pleased with our food but the long wait kind of killed the mood.

The also has all the side condiments you would want to go with your pho which is hard to find around here. The service was also amazing, they sat us down quickly, took our orders almost right away, and the food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The restaurant itself was well decorated, bright, and clean. I will 100% be coming back when I am in the area.

I ordered the Chicken Pho to go, and we waited quite a while--probably because of the number of people coming in for Thursday night dinner. The restaurant is pretty small, with just a few tables and a bar that takes up about a third of the space. Despite being small and a bit crowded, the dining area was clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a photo of my pho. I was too excited to dig in! And then came the disappointment. The chicken was tough and had very little flavor. It seemed like the thin slices of chicken breast may have been cooked separately in boiling water rather than in the broth. The broth itself was also too bland for my taste and, unfortunately, was a bit cold. Overall, I've had much better pho elsewhere. For me, this one was pretty mediocre when it came to the pho. I'm not sure if I'll come back, but who knows? I'd still like to try some of their entrees before making a final judgment on the restaurant. For the pho, though, I'd give it 2 stars.

With the recent change in ownership, I'm not sure what's changed behind the scenes, but the food tonight was absolutely bursting with flavor. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, attentive, and accommodating, especially with our toddler. Dining out with a little one can sometimes be a challenge, so that extra warmth and patience really made a difference. The ambiance was beautiful as always, with its warm lighting, cozy atmosphere, and inviting decor that makes it a great spot for a date night or dinner with family. I've been here several times before and always thought it was just okay, but tonight felt different. Between the flavorful food, wonderful service, and lovely atmosphere, this visit definitely changed my impression. I'm excited to come back and see what else is in store under the new ownership!

The reason I gave it 4 stars was because the dumplings were disappointing. They were not warm and the dumpling dough was thick. We got the David's dumplings and the crispy spicy wontons. The wontons were better. I liked the crispy dough but they weren't spicy at all. The entree meals were better. I had the Malaysian curry soup which had a nice kick and was steaming hot. It had lots of different toppings in it which was nice. My husband got the fried rice. It was also really good. The Chinese sausage complimented the rice well and there were plenty shrimp in it too. If I went back I would forgo the dumplings and just go straight to having the entree.

I came right before a show at the Alamo Drafthouse around the corner, which makes it the perfect night out for dinner and show. All their food felt more authentic and homestyle than your typical run of the mill Chinese place. The food had flavor, and it wasn't overly greasy either! I ordered the lo mein, bamboo flounder fish, and a side of fried rice. Unfortunately, the lo mein was extremely greasy, the fried rice was overly salty, and the shrimp was hard, overcooked and not fresh. When I informed the waiter that I would not be eating the lo mein due to its condition, I was told that I would still have to pay for it and that it did not matter whether I liked it or not. He initially refused to remove the dish from my bill. After eventually taking it off, he told me that he never wanted to see my face again as I was leaving. What disappoints me most is that I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant and had been a repeat customer. The decline in food quality combined with the way my concerns were handled has left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The order was a nice size but I do feel the oxtails portion could have been bigger. Lots of sauce but not a lot of meat. The seasoning on it was very well done. Spicy but not too spicy. Well balanced. I enjoyed it along with my well portioned sides. The person with me got jollof rice and chicken. They said the rice was good and the grilled onion on top of the chicken was perfect. I understand as if you aren't seated when they open, you can expect a 90-minute to two-hour wait. I was hoping to get the Chicken Pot Pie this time and thought my prior visit was just off. I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.
