We used to come to Cava once a week. We stopped going months ago. They seem to be always out of several ingredients. I also do not like the fact that when they do bring out new food they just dump it over what is left in the bottom. One day the rice was just all crisp and I said I will wait for more rice to come out, the server acknowledged the issue with the rice. She brings out the new rice and just emotes it over the gross stuff cooked hours again. The staff does not care about what they are serving. I will not be surprised when this Cava closes. read more

I paid for 11 items and got only 4?! wtf dude I usually love cava, we had it in California and it was always solid. We ordered from our local cava for the second time hoping they wouldn't mess up the order again. They did! We got two bowls and mine was CLIX bowl and it seemed to be missing half the ingredients. We paid over 30$ for this and it's not what we paid for... didn't get ANY sauce! We usually love this place but these workers messed up an order pretty badly so I had to take pictures of it. We picked up our order and they were listening to music and didn't seem to be paying attention which is fine for me, but now that you messed my order up it makes sense. This food is typically good but when you mess up an easy order it makes customers not want to come back. If you don't like your job, don't take it out on your customers or the product, thanks! I love Cava's food it is delicious and healthy, which is the only reason I tolerate the rude staff at this location. They do not have the word 'customer service' in their dictionary Today's service, however, was a masterclass in passive aggression, delivered by the woman with the Hot Pink Hair. She didn't just ignore the empty containers; she actively punished us for ordering. The serving was rude, scraped from the bottom of the bins, and she capped it off by giving me a single, solitary falafel instead of the three required for the Signature Bowl. I love cava, but this the worst cava location. I ordered two bowls and paid for them with the online app. I waited and then drove all the way to the store. Then they told me they were out of bowls. It's been a while since I've been to this location. Glad to see that it's changed for the better. It was very busy for 2:30pm on a Saturday...a good sign! The staff were very efficient and friendly. Food was very fresh as they were constantly replenishing items while I was waiting. I've always loved Cava for the food but have been avoiding it because the other location in Cary was very poorly run and not clean. This location is far superior in terms of service and cleanliness. First time at this location. I got a bowl with greens, grilled chicken and lots of veggies. Everything was fresh and tasted great. I got the Greek dressing and I plan to get it again. The service was good, nice attitude and my order was correct. Drinks are self serve and they have some interesting flavors. The place was clean and they had a nice outdoor seating area. The service at Cava was excellent!! My food was amazing and the staff was friendly! I'm definitely coming back to this location again.

We were told they were out of all rice, then she walked up to four people waiting on to go orders and asked if brown rice was ok. So obviously they weren't out of rice. Almost all meat selections were out, and their response was very blunt and uncaring. Should have walked out, instead of paying 30 dollars for the scraps they had left over. Food was quite fresh and very tasty! The space is large and there's a lot of seating which is nice. The plaza is busy, so parking can be tough but it's not the worst. The service was very slow, tons of folks waiting for online orders, which seemed to be prioritized over customers that were hoping to dine in. With so many online orders, the bowl preparers probably shouldn't also be the ones having to run around and wrap up online orders...kind of hoping this was a fluke and someone just called in, which is why it was so slow. The staff however is clearly working their butts off, I think there was just more staffing needed. Overall solid. read more

The food was really good. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the lady at the register was very rude. She basically threw my bag at me after I paid. She said "here" and threw the bag on the counter. Very nasty attitude. First time at CAVA and I was definitely not disappointed! The order counter where your bowl is assembled was nice and clean, and I appreciate the clear labels. The person helping me was fast and didn't skimp on toppings. I do wish he was clearer about what things cost extra, such as extra meat. He kept asking if I would want another choice of protein, without mentioning cost. Regardless I was only there for the meatballs so that is what I got. They were super tasty, but a bit dry and overcooked. I got the greens and grains bowl with saffron rice. The greens were nice and fresh. I really enjoyed the three dips/spreads that I got with my bowl. In particular, the harissa paste was super delicious, though a bit salty. The toppings were excellent, fresh, and flavor packed. My only complaint was that the yogurt dill sauce was waaaay too watery, so it made my bowl kind of soggy at the bottom. I should have gotten it on the side. CAVA's garlic sauce though, was amazing! Super pure garlic taste and very creamy. I'd definitely come back when I'm craving something quick and healthy, but I'd probably get my sauces on the side next time. read more

We ordered online today and went in and picked it up and ate outside. My first time eating here. They have a nice outside patio. The online ordering process was super easy. I got one of their pre made bowls and my daughter built her own. She got a (small) piece of pita bread with hers. I was not given that option with my bowl. The bowls were ready for us (on the take out shelf) when we got there. I did have to wait a few minutes to request water cups. Not sure why they can't just leave some out. I was happy with my bowl with the exception that I should of requested that the dressing be on the "side". That was my error. I would suggest that you always order your dressing on the "side". It just had too much dressing for my taste. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. I would definitely come again. If you are watching your calories and want a "fresh" alternative give them a try, you will be glad you did ! read more

I had about an hr & half wait before my IV supplement appt. so I decided to waste the time exploring and ultimately grabbing lunch since I hadn't eaten breakfast. I stopped by CAVA as 1st time experience. About 3p and very light patronage. Almost no one was there from a crowd/guest perspective. I examined the menu a bit to understand the ordering process and items available. Ended up creating my own bo as opposed to one of their creations. Everything looked fresh and seemed healthy. Many toppings to choose from. My bowl was very flavorful, I didn't even use the dressing. The soda fountain had fun flavors to choose from as well. I will definitely look forward to coming back. I have been coming to this CAVA since it opened - see my previous review - I enjoy the food, so I find myself coming on average about once a month. The food is good, I can't deny that - I like their spicy lamb meatballs. However, as of late, the online order system has been terrible and the customer service has been very poor. It has come to the point where whenever I order online, I expect something to be wrong with my order - I'm actually actively looking for what will be wrong. Almost always there is something missing from my order - a side pita, certain toppings, sauces on the side, etc. It's always correct on the receipt they put on my order, they just haven't read the receipt closely enough and so my order is almost always made incorrectly. This last time, there were multiple things missing from both my wife and my bowls. I stood there next to the cash register waiting to be asked what was wrong, but no one acknowledged my presence. About 5 minutes later, the staff who prepares the online orders came out from the back to drop off another order. I said "Excuse me" but she walked right past me. On her way back to the back, I stopped her and told her about the missing items in our bowls (pita crisps for both my wife and I, pickled cabbage for my wife, and side pitas for both of us). She doesn't say anything (no acknowledgement, no apology), takes my bowls to the back, and comes back out with my bowls but she only added pita crisps to one bowl. Remember, there were multiple items missing, so the order is still wrong (after I specifically told her the missing items - note, plural). I saw this immediately as she put down my bowls and tried to tell her there were still items missing, but she rushed back to the back without hearing me (or maybe she was just ignoring me). Meanwhile, the workers at the front are busy doing their thing. So I just stand there, waiting to be served again. After the cashier rings up the next customer, I quickly interject and let her know of the missing items. Keep in mind, this is about 10 minutes after my initial realization that there were missing items. I had to force myself into the situation before anyone at the front even acknowledged me. Thankfully, the cashier got all the additional toppings right, as well as the side pitas. This is just the latest story - as I mentioned before, for almost all online orders I have placed in the past year, there has always been something wrong or missing with my order. I guess I'm used to better quality control with double checking the accuracy of online orders. But even on top of that, when I ask for my order to be corrected, it's met with disdain and annoyance (even though it wasn't my fault to begin with). This will be the last story, because I don't think I'll be coming back to this CAVA, unfortunately. The food is still good, however not worth the worsened customer service. There are other good fast casual options in this area. read more

Another one of those fast food type restaurants (chipotle feels) however the food was fresh and I'll definitely be back. You start by picking your dish type(pita or bowl) and I got the pita with spicy falafel. You get to choose 3 dips, so I chose tzatziki, regular humus and harissa. They basically spread that on the pita, then you move to choose your stuffings and I got spicy falafel, corn, cucumber/tomato, spicy broccoli, and feta cheese. You could also choose a sauce and I got the yogurt dill sauce. They had a choice of 5 lemonade which all looked amazing but I got the cucumber mint which was very refreshing. Service was quick and ambience was decent like any regular fast food place. Overall highly recommend and I'll be back! read more
