Postino is located in the Village District and has a free parking lot shared with other businesses. If that lot fills, there are other lots in the shopping center. Postino has been open for almost two years now. Postino has both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor space is open-concept, with high ceilings and large windows. The lounge area has lower chairs and soft fabrics. The dining room has tables and booths. There is also a bar with a library wall separating it from the dining area. The walls are wood tones with pops of red and yellow. The high ceilings make the restaurant loud, so if music is playing, it is harder to hear conversations. I was on the same side as the jazz music. While Postino is a wine bar, it also offers many mocktails for those of us who do not want alcohol. I tend to order the Mockingbird because I enjoy it, but I need to try another one next time. The menu has twelve bruschetta boards. I have tried most of them on my visits; my last visit included the chef's special with asparagus and peas. I didn't care for this one in taste or form, as it needed a creamy base so the toppings didn't fall off. I also thought it would be more like the artichoke spread. The flavor wasn't good, and I do like asparagus. The smoked salmon was another new one I tried. I really liked this one, but then I realized mine was missing the onions. So this was good luck on my part, as I don't like onions. I didn't order it special, though, so the kitchen left it off. The Prosciutto with Figs & Mascarpone was another I enjoyed as the flavors came together well. Ricotta, Dates & Pistachio had been a favorite in the past, but I didn't care for it this visit. I think something was missing on this one, too. Service was friendly, functional and efficient, but not overly attentive. It is a busy place. If you are looking for a high -energy spot with great mocktails and lovely decor, check out Postino. I do hope the food is more consistent on my next visit.

I recently went to a Yelp brunch event hosted by Postino which was beautiful done. It featured live music, corkscrew wine opener engraving, and excellent service! Postino offers a variety of wine and cocktail selections. If you go in please try the bruschetta boards which allows you to pick 4 shareable options. Their OMG grilled cheese with tomato soup is the perfect bite of comfort. Also on your looking for something classic their Classic Remix is absolutely delicious with sausage. This is definitely my new brunch spot...thanks again!

This is a great spot for brunch. I loved the ambiance. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. We got sweet potato wedges and a salmon board. I got a mocktail...which was delicious and my husband got an old fashioned..which he enjoyed immensely! The food was really good. The prices were very affordable. We will definitely return..with friends lol!

Came here for a little happy hour to catch up with my friend. We had such a great experience and loved our bruschetta board. Our favorite was the spicy jam with goat cheese (which was shocking for both of us). Serves were super attentive and kind. The atmosphere here is great because it feels sophisticated but also casual enough to just go any time you want to. Bo, our waitress was kind enough to give us these delicious donuts as well which I would definitely get again!

I absolutely love the atmosphere here and the wine selection. I have enjoyed the food items that I'd tried and really enjoy having a glass or two of wine while enjoying one of their charcuterie boards. I gave four stars because the service is not the best unless you are lucky enough to have the amazing bartender act as your server. They are the best, and I am always hopeful they will come be our server.

If you like Panini's, salads, charcuterie boards, or wine then this place is The place to go! The Panini sandwiches were delicious! Also they have a really good deal that apparently is all day everyday. They have pitchers of beer and select glasses of wine for only $6! Can't beat that!

So, I decided to check out Postino on a brisk Saturday evening. I arrived around 6:30 and it was busy. I was fortunate to get a table at the bar. The service from the time I arrived to the moment I paid my bill was amazing. Postino's is definitely a vibe. From the great music to the coziness, to the excellent wine list and the amazing food!! I started with a glass of the Costa Red Blend and the Skewers. They were out of chicken, so I had two of the beef skewers and they were absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The garlic yogurt sauce was also perfection. I then ordered a board with 4 toasts, smoked salmon, fresh mozzarella w/ tomato & basil, burrata w/ bacon, arugula and tomato and poached pear!! They were all so good, but being by myself it was hard to eat it all, I was getting tired of all the toast, so with the last couple, I'd just take the toppings off and eat them. Everything was so beautifully prepared and made perfectly. The presentation was top notch. Postino is a great place for anytime, date night, a group, or solo!

Sparkling rose starts this post t ino adventure out right!

Sparkling rosé starts this post--and our adventure--off right! City seating and a curated menu by creative chefs were ordered tout de suite and off we go! A focaccia roll lined with rare tuna and a fresh side salad may not leave room for the promised warm doughnut finish. Pooled service kept glasses full and customers happy. I'm not sure how the other locations are decorated, but I love the quirky library look. Sit closer than usual; the high ceiling bounces every sound and creates a constant bustling vibe. It certainly caters to groups with shared plates and boards. Is that a waterfall? Nope--it's the sound of decanted wine deftly poured into glasses! With over 50 labels, you'll have plenty to choose from. A hidden gem for book clubs and friends from out of town, as the chic theme doesn't lend itself to a family restaurant. Energy was a pleasure to redirect on this week of thanks in November.

Woow, this was a great find. Beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant with a great patio for events (they were having one when we were there). Beautiful decor and an inside bar. The place was busy but they were able to seat us right away without a reservation. We ordered the choose 4 to build your own Bruschetta. The OMG grilled cheese which comes with tomato soup and the chicken and mozzarella panini. Everything was delicious. Worth checking out!!

Loved this place! Warm and inviting. Spectacular service! Great food and reasonable pricing. Loved the Bruschetta board. Our only critique was that we wished we had more goat cheese! Excellent wine list. Highly recommend for a lunch or dinner outing with group of friends or family.

My friend and I popped in for dinner and splitting a bruschetta flight and chef's charcuterie board was plenty for the both of us. The vibes of Postino are immaculate. The prices great. The food and mocktails fantastic. For out flight we ordered (pictured bottom to top): Mushroom mascarpone Sweet n spicy pepper jam with goat cheese Prosciutto, fig, and mascarpone Ricotta, dates, pistachio Not pictured is outdoor patio seating and yes! They're dog friendly! Highly recommend if you're in the area. There is plenty of parking as it is on the corner of a shopping center.

    Italian Beef Dip Panini

First time visit, and we will definitely be back! We had paninis and they were amazing. I had the chicken mozzarella on focaccia with salad as my side, and enjoyed every last bite. The bread was amazing and the sauce had a tiny kick. My husband had the Italian beef dip on ciabatta, and he really enjoyed it. The Happy Happy drink menu offers some of the best deals I've seen - $6 small pitcher of beer and $6 glasses of wine. I had the Sauvignon Blanc and my husband had the beer pitcher.

    P.R.E.A.M. Bowl
    Jessica C.

This was my first time trying Postino; I've been wanting to try it forever! I brought some friends on a Sunday evening. The decor and vibe is cozy, warm, and welcoming. Everything on the menu looked fantastic, but I narrowed my choice down to the P.R.E.A.M. Bowl. It had steak, broccolini, avocado, warm grains, and romesco. I had to look up ingredients of romesco and it's a Spanish sauce with roasted red peppers, almonds, garlic, tomatoes, and vinegar. The sauce kicked this dish up several notches-it really added so much flavor. I'd love to come back and try more menu items.

Although the space is tiny, the desserts and cocktails more than make up for the line out front, and the noisy nature of downtown locations! There were 4 of us and we enjoyed the strawberry pretzel pie, derby pie, ice cream, coffee, and old fashioned. First of all, AMAZING cocktails- and an epic list of whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches. They've also got some custom beverages that you cannot find else. Super thumbs up for originality of cocktails, creative menu presentation, and speed of service! The derby pie was good- but I like mine with a denser filling. My friend enjoyed her strawberry pretzel pie, and the fact that not many places offer this on their menu. But, she said it was not as good as homemade. The gents in our party RAVED about how great Bittersweet's old fashioned drinks were! They said that these were definitely in the top three beverages they had ever had! This hole in the wall had a bridal party, some goth appearing folks, and suits too. In short, no matter what you like to drink, what you enjoy eating for dessert, you will find it here!

This place was absolutely amazing. All I can say is, we made a lot of happy noises while eating,…read moreand there were plenty of "oh my God" moments at the table. From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.

Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived. Overall though? Still a solid meal, strong whiskey program, cool atmosphere, and definitely worth checking out if you're in Raleigh looking for a bourbon-forward dinner spot. The Pecan pie with warm salted caramel ice cream was nothing short of a spiritual experience, and Hayley's recommendation to pair it with Rum Flip was perfect. Yes, I Ubered. Overall, this one is going to be a frequent hangout.
