My husband and I went for an anniversary dinner and the experience was truly divine. Such unique flavors and dishes. We will absolutely be back. Our waitress was phenomenal. My favorite were the red prawns in tomato essence- I have never had anything like that before. Everything was so fresh. The interior was gorgeous. Clean. Calming.

Our city doesn't have many choices when it comes to Italian food, nor do we have Michelin recognized restaurants, so my husband and I were excited to visit Brodeto. We made a reservation the week before our visit, but even then, we had to reserve bar seats because this is such a hot spot. Spoiler- it was worth it. I had a specialty cocktail that the bartender made for me. I love telling bartenders what ingredients I like and just letting their imaginations go wild. My husband had a whiskey sour which he said was delicious. Both of us stuck with only one drink, but the drinks are delicious and strong, so we only needed one. The limoncello spritz was the most popular drink we saw that night, but we didn't try it. I also appreciated that they have several spirit-free options. For food, we tried a little bit of everything. Both of the crudos we tried (salmon and tuna) were delicious, although the portions were small. The Little Gem Salad is Caesar and surprised us. My husband and I ordered it just to give our bodies a vegetable at dinner, but it was delicious with just the right amount of dressing and crunch. The whipped feta was rich and I loved the figs on top. Our pasta dishes, the Sopresine and Linguine al Nero, were wonderful. The linguine was my favorite of the two. I highly suggest ordered multiple pasta dishes and sharing them so you can try several- on that particular night, the menu had seven pastas. For dessert, my favorite was the vanilla gelato. You should definitely save room for it. I'm still thinking of the gelato and wish they sold pints! Both of us agreed Brodeto was one of the best meals we've had in the US. Even at the bar, service was excellent, and it was fun talking to the bartenders. We would certainly return when in Raleigh, and the menu changes seasonally, so it's a great place for return visits.

Brodeto has been on my radar for quite awhile based off the reviews and the ambiance. I finally went this past weekend and my friend and I are still raving about the food! Every. Single. Thing. we ordered was delicious and we ordered alot as a table. Overall the service was great as our waiter and the other servers were all very pleasant and patient when we had questions. I didn't get a picture of everything we ate but some of what we ordered: Sardine toast, Little gem hearts, Black Cod Ražnjići, Fregula, Linguine Al Nero, Ledene Kocke (delicious chocolate cake!), Hazelnut Gelato and the Strawberry/olive oil cake for my friends birthday.

My son and I visited this restaurant on his birthday as part of his birthday celebration. My son had been there previously and wanted to go back for his birthday because he enjoyed it that much, so he made reservations for us to go. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our seat. We had a wonderful server, Felicity. She took great care of us and answered all of our questions. We ordered several things on the menu. Everything ordered was flavorful, had great texture, and was displayed well on the plate. The moistness and tenderness of each dish were definitely highlights. I wasn't sure about the snapper crudo but decided to try it anyway. It was scrumptious! The Wood Roasted Oysters were good, and the Bordeto seafood meal was awesome; however, I felt it could've been a larger portion for that price. Our gelato desserts were very tasty and refreshing. My son loved the uniqueness of the Vanilla Bean Gelato with olive oil and sea salt. I thoroughly enjoyed my Strawberry Sorbetto. I can see why this restaurant received Michelin acknowledgment in 2025. Between the food, service, and ambience, it was an absolutely fabulous experience. Needless to say, my son enjoyed his birthday celebration.

I was so excited to go to Brodeto. I had been hearing such good things so we went as a belated birthday dinner with my family. Four of us, three women and one man. The space is absolutely gorgeous, like wow. It is located in Ironworks so parking can be a little iffy so keep that in mind when you come. We were there on a Sunday evening at 6pm and it was busy, so I would recommend a reservation. We started off with drinks. I got their rose spritz, which they said was newer to the menu. It was both gorgeous and delicious. The idea of this place is tapas/small plates. I knew that going in. So we ordered a few small plates to enjoy: whipped ricotta, beef carpaccio, and little gem hearts. Our food came out pretty quickly but I will admit I was pretty underwhelmed by the portions. Each small plate is $22, which I am fine with paying when there is actually enough food. The bread that came with the whipped ricotta was delicious, that was probably my favorite. But there wasn't a lot of bread. And each new order of bread was $5. We had two order two more small rolls to be able to use up all of the whipped ricotta. For our entrees (again shared) we had the half roasted chicken, ravioli, and a side of potatoes. Again, I was underwhelmed by the portion of the ravioli. It was like 5 pieces of ravioli. Personal preference also, I just do not like when pasta is cooked al dente. The chicken was a large portion and was pretty decent. The crispy potato side was good. Then for dessert we had the olive oil cake, which was very good. But again, small in portion size compared to the quality and cost. I will admit, I was just overall pretty underwhelmed. The food was fine but between the portions and the cost, it missed the mark for me.

This restaurant received a lot of hype and I was not as in awe as I anticipated. It was a lovely dining experience with a beautiful ambiance, knowledgeable and attentive server, and unique menu but for the price, I was not obsessed with the food. The branzino was delicious, the whipped ricotta was mid, and the ricotta's texture was a little chunky/ hard. We went with four couples and it was about $200-375 per couple - which was a little steep for an averagely good dinner!

I love the way the decorated in here. Its earthy with perfect lighting. It feels airy! The linguine al nero is SO delicious. Highly recommend. I cant wait to go back

I have been to Brodeto twice now and both the times the food has been phenomenal. This time we got the following: Char Crudo - This was my first time trying char and I really liked it. The crudo was flavorful Croatian Pogača, fresh herbs, wood grilled - I was not a big fan of this bread. It was grilled a bit too much that it got tough and tasted charred. Scallops - I loved the presentation of this dish. The scallops were cooked tender and had a lot of flavor. Linguine al Nero - This was hands down my favorite dish. The pasta is cooked in a sea urchin butter and it gives it such a rich flavor. I would definitely go back and order this again. It was so good. Ribeye: The steak came perfectly grilled to a medium rare precut on a bed of porcini and grilled mushrooms. I'm not a big mushroom fan but they actually complimented the steak. Overall Brodeto is a hit and I'd go back again. P.S: Just like other Crawford restaurants they also charge you a 3% credit card transaction fees.

The ambience was beautiful and contemporary, Staff were friendly. The food was tasteful, but overpriced. The scallops were the smallest that I've ever seen and eaten. They were bite size. Also, the arugula salad was bland. I enjoyed the Cocomero drink. The Croatian experience was interesting, but not as exciting as I expected. I will return again to try a different dish. Tips: you must order all food items at the same time. Also, the wooden door inverts when opened as if it is going to revolve. As I stood near the door awaiting seating, the door hit me in my back as a customer entered the restaurant. Ouch!

Service was amazing, server came at the perfect time, Crudo was amazing and the main course was divine. Nice place to come for a date! Food was a the perfect portion and everything was delicious overall.

My friend and I had the perfect girls night here! I love Italian and this was on her list of suggestions. Even better it's walkable from the climbing gym so I was able to have a full evening of climbing and catching up with my friend. We made a reservation for 7:30pm and were seated at a two top in the main area. The ambiance here is clean, classy and upscale. We started with an espresso martini and a mezcal drink. The mezcal had that classic smoky kick and the espresso martini was actually a bit more bitter (ha) than expected but still very good. I had the busiate with shrimp and my friend got the pork chop. I also had a glass of pink rose that was delicious and paired well with my pasta. I tried a bit of the polenta - which I'm pretty indifferent towards, but this was scrumptious. For dessert, we shared the chocolate cake and it was amazing. Serving sizes are on the smaller side but makes you savor every single bite! All in all, I had an excellent night here. Service was spectacular- I would expect no less for a $$$$ venue! I would definitely come back. @azfitfoodfun

Brodeto is probably one of the top five restaurants in the Triangle. The food, ambience and service were top notch! It's fairly new and opened in 2024. This was our second time here and I'll say it's one of our favorite eateries in Raleigh. My wife and I shared dishes and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back again soon.

Excellent atmosphere with open kitchen and great service! The crudo was refreshing! Make sure to order the bread to mop up your extra sauce from the pasta dishes! I would definitely dine here again

The space is cozy, not too big, and lovely. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly & attentive. We even got to meet the Chef and let him know how amazing his curated and creative dishes were! We sat at the bar and were able to be seated right away. We each opted for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon (or two). On to the food! The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Plenty of delicious and appealing options of small plates to share, but also a few larger ones. We started with the Goat Cheese Stuffed Piquillo Peppers & Truffled Deviled Eggs. Both of these were amazing. The Peppers melt in your mouth and had so much flavor. The Deviled Eggs had the perfect amount of truffle flavor and were perfectly cooked. Next we opted for the Baguette of the day - this one was served with Salami, Burrata, and Arugula. The bread was perfectly crispy and all of the toppings fresh and delicious; this was a perfect combination! Lastly, it was between the Lamb Sliders Trio and the Paella! I really wanted to try the Paella, but my sister and I decided that we would try something a bit lighter and the Sliders looked so elevated, unique, and delicious. They sure did deliver! Served with fresh Goat Cheese, Guacamole, Fresh Jalapeño, Caramelized Onions, and Sriracha, which we got on the side. This dish was absolutely amazing! So different. You wouldn't think to put those flavors together, but it was so great and we would hands-down get it again! All of the food at Vinos Finos was delicious, fun, and fresh. Already off to a good start. From the name, I initially expected more of a wine bar, but the menu caught my attention immediately. It's small and focused, which I like, and seeing Basque cheesecake on the dessert menu certainly didn't hurt. The star of my meal--and I mean STAR--was the fried broccoli Caesar. This was kick-ass delicious. Crispy, beautifully seasoned broccoli with Caesar dressing, Parmesan and croutons. I would order this again in a heartbeat. Add a protein and I could happily make an entire meal out of it. I'm now determined to figure out how to make something similar at home. For my entrée, I ordered the filet mignon medium rare. It came with local greens and fingerling potatoes. Those potatoes were fantastic--shatteringly crisp outside and fluffy inside. Whatever magic happened to them in that kitchen, keep doing it. The filet had great flavor and was tender, but as I worked toward the center, it went from medium rare to essentially raw. The lighting is fairly dim, so I didn't notice immediately. By the time I did, I was nearly finished and simply left that portion on the plate. Next time I'd cut into the center early and, if necessary, ask them to give it another minute or two on the heat. The accompanying greens were fine, but the broccoli and potatoes were far more memorable. This feels like a true little independent neighborhood restaurant. I met the owners, Dave and Molly, and Molly steered me toward the broccoli Caesar when I was debating between that and the Basque cheesecake. She made the right call. I'd already been a little greedy with dessert the night before, so perhaps the universe was looking out for me. My only slightly odd moment came at the end. When I declined a box for the remaining steak because I was staying in a hotel, I was told their dogs would enjoy it. Harmless, certainly, but probably more information than I needed about the future of my filet. Overall, I enjoyed Stellar. It's comfortable and unpretentious, with an open kitchen, a nice bar, outdoor seating and a menu with enough personality to make me want to return. And that broccoli Caesar alone deserves another visit. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal.
