Beautifully decorated upstairs and downstairs. The bartender we had really knew her stuff and all the cocktails were very tasty. We had rented out the bottom space for a Christmas party and it was perfect. Such a ln old comfy bar feel downstairs which leads out to a wide open outdoor space with a fire pit, stage, and you can even see the busta rhymes mural at the back. Upstairs is very nice and lively and a little more modern even with the extra Christmas decorations. Great chill spot or but also great for events. I recommend getting Gussies next door to cater since they're so close and make taste food!

This is hands down my favorite bar in Raleigh. It's two levels- upstairs is usually bumping music, and then downstairs is a more mellow, dimmer experience. Their cocktails are SO GOOD. We spend most of our time here in the downstairs area. Downstairs they have tables and swanky seating in small clusters across the room from the stunning bar area. Either way you need to order from the bar, so we usually sit there - but it's nice there are options. They make a killer Pisco Sour (not on the menu - just ask them for it) and have an amazing Milk Punch (this is on the menu), but I don't think I've ever had a bad drink here. My sober friends even really like their mocktails. That's a win all around in my book.

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. Honestly, I think that was the best decision because I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt completely fine afterwards. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once. It's such an interesting and unique space that doesn't really feel like anywhere else. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back to try more items on the menu.

This is a one stop shop, brewery, flower shop, library/book store and dim sum restaurant!…read more The food. Really really good dim sum. I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

I'm not a huge beer drinker but was still impressed at the plethora of options (International beer on the 2nd floor, Domestic Beer on the first floor, and a separate liquor bar on the first floor as well). So if you are looking for a LOT OF BEER OPTIONS, this is a good place to start/try. I tried a flight of ciders because that's as close to beer as I would typically get (I've attempted to try so many with beer fest but I just can't get into it) and I couldn't choose what I wanted so I had the wonderful bartender select them for me. She provided amazing, friendly service because as indecisive as I can be, she was very patient. For a meal, I order the Jalapeño burger and it was delicious. The jalapeño is basically the sauce that gives the kick you're looking for, not actual jalapeños, and it comes with plenty of fries. Again, I left not a single crumb lol This place is really cool inside and looks like something out of a fairytale with the trees growing through the restaurant. I love plants and nature so for me it was everything. I'd love to see it at night and check out how it's lit up, certain it looks beautiful!

I was looking to share a steak with my dog and know how dog friendly it is here. I ordered the steak medium but it really came out medium rare, I ate the outer edges and my dog had a feast! Probably won't be my go to spot for steak but the wings and shrimp are super solid. Service was a little slow but I wasn't in a rush so it was okay.

The upstairs is open with comfy seating - perfect for after work cocktails or even a private event. I love that they'll adjust their hours to open for sporting events..not what you'd typically expect from a cocktail lounge! Before I could even ask about the restaurant info he interrupts me and starts talking about my soda I left out on the sidewalk. I had enough respect as a fellow bartender to leave it outside. I'm new to the area and just wanted to ask if they serve food but the way his attitude was my homie outside just told me to forget about it. All over a soda. I asked about the upstairs and he's complaining about my soda on the sidewalk. I have a lot of regulars that have told me about this place and MY bar and decided to just walk by and check it out. When ever asked about this place I will be honest about how it was and let my neighbors know too. Move him to the back bar or something. Not someone that is very welcoming. Interrupting someone on their first visit and giving a a lil attitude is nice at all to walk into. Idk what a soda ever did to him but that's all he could think about instead of my actual question. Have a great day!
