It was honestly so refreshing to find this healthy fast casual option on a day I needed a cleaner meal. Overall I was impressed with the variety and quality of fresh ingredients! They were in the process of training a new hire at the time, so the line took some time to move through, but I still got my food pretty quickly. I ordered the harvest crunch vegetable which had all of my favorites - the mushrooms were so flavorful and my favorite part. The only two critiques I had was that 1) I asked for half/half rice and romaine and my bowl had way too much romaine, it really overpowered all of the other ingredients that came in the bowl and 2) the tofu was not my favorite - it wasn't crispy or as flavorful as I would like it, so that's something for the plant-based community to keep in mind. That said, I imagine all of the other animal-based proteins taste better! If their tofu was improved, I would absolutely return to try some of their other unique bowl combos. read more

I got a wheat wrap with some steak, spinach, and mushrooms, while my wife got a mixed grain bowl with chicken and bacon. We were both very happy with our meals, and while the food wasn't cheap (about $15 a person), I didn't feel ripped off either. The website mentioned that the ingredients were high quality and that the dressings were made in house, and it definitely tasted like it! Diced is a cool concept & heavily influenced from the "bowl" restaurants that are all over Manhattan & other major downtowns. It's Raleigh's version of Chopt, Sweetgreen, justsalad & the likes. It has an interesting menu, fresh looking clean ingredients and a bright welcoming ambiance. However it does fall tad short on flavors. The dressing needs more work as it isn't game changing. You can get nothing unhealthy here and everything taste fresh. I always get through with relative speed for lunch although they do get bogged up with fulfilling online orders sometimes if you go in during peak hours so if you're busy order online. My fav are the Greek Goddess bowls! I take people from the office here all the time and everyone finds something they like. I really enjoy salads, and was exited to try out DICED! The inside was cute and trendy. You can turn any of their menu options into a salad, wrap, or a bowl. I had the avocado BLT with chicken to go. They were out of certain types of lettuce and a few other items, but they did let me know before I ordered. Lucky for me, none of the out of stock items interfered with my order. The line moved quickly, and they literally diced up the salad once all the ingredients are in the bowl. It was a decent sized salad with fresh ingredients. I was excited to try DICED for the first time today and got a to-go order; I requested my dressing on the side since many places over dress it, but they forgot it altogether, and I wasn't in the mood to drive back to ask for it once I got home. In addition I did the build your own which included is four toppings, which were not very generous. Overall I felt like I just had a very overpriced bowl of mixed greens and could've made that at home for a quarter of the price. The leaves were fresh, and my husband did enjoy his bowl. The decor is cute with a few outdoor tables and the staff was friendly. I liked that Diced has a mission to use "better" ingredients and I found everything to be fresh.
