Second time at this shop (different locations each time) Food: I have had a Cinnabon and honestly not impressed when compared to the dough/ based texture and flavor of the original Cinnabon. I do love how customizable the Cinnabons are but haven't LOVED the flavors I've tried. My partner ordered a Cinnabon and I opted for a cookie this time around. It was a good cookie (cinnadoodle) texture wise and flavor wise. Price: the Cinnabons are worth the price maybe because of the size and the toppings you can add to it. But the cookie I felt was overpriced for the size. Service: both time I have visited the company shop (different locations) I have been asked to wait a few minutes though no1 else was in the shop. It seems they prepare orders that come in via the app maybe? But it seems awkward to wait around when no one else is in the shop. The service is not the fastest but not their fault they are doing their best, the shop just seems to only have one or two people working the shop at a time. They seem a bit frazzled and that's with just one client I can't imagine if multiple customers came in. Ambiance: shops are consistent in decore and set up. Welcoming and smells amazing. Upon entering the place is clean and bright. The food case was full of samples you could look at - then when you order they make it fresh. The counter worker was friendly- I ordered the pistachio with no chocolate she asked if I would like almonds I said sure. The price is limiting as with similar establishments, however, cinnaholic does use high-quality ingredients and the portions are large. The only item I dislike is the vanilla frosting they use for the cookie dough. It is gritty, overly sweet, and has an off taste. I recommend sticking with the cream cheese frosting. The employees are helpful and the flavors are displayed in the case and posted on the menu board. The website also lists the flavors and detailed information on the ingredients. The cinnamon rolls take a while to make, but they are worth the wait. Parking is available out front or close by as long as Parkside isn't too crowded. Not what I expected for a bakery. I could hear laughing coming from the back and after a couple minutes, I called out for some help. A girl eventually came out from the back to take my order. She wasn't super helpful and couldn't find my coworker's online order. She asked for proof of the order. My coworker wasn't at her desk so she couldn't pull it up and said to just forget it. No sorry, let me see what I can do to help and still no other customers so it's not like she was busy. I bought the other items and left. The female employee behind the counter made eye contact with me as we walked in. She looked back down and continued whatever she was doing saying not one word. My sister and I were discussing what to get and she still did not say anything. We were there at least 2 and a half minutes when another employee came from the back. She acted like she didn't even see us, spoke to the first employee without saying anything. She appeared to be the manager. She left and went to the back. Finally the first employee walks to the counter to take the order still not saying anything. Not hello, welcome in, nothing. So my sister said "hello" and then the employee finally said hello. She still didn't ask what we would like or anything. Had it not been my first time there I would have said you know what, you seem like you don't really want my business so never mind and walked out. I went ahead and ordered, paid, she brings me the roll boxed with an unwrapped fork, no bag, and hands me a box and a fork. No napkins. Didn't offer a bag. Nothing. I was so put off by this I just left without a bag. This experience was not good at all. It made me wonderful if this treatment had anything to do with the fact they appeared to be Indian and I am Black. They made zero effort at customer service. And there were no other customers in the store. It was 11:51 am on a Saturday. There's no excuse for the way I was treated. I was about to give four-stars until I saw that this place is 100% plant based. Does that mean that these treats are healthy? I had a friend who bought four different Signature Rolls so I got to try the following: -Cookie Monster - pretty nice and the chocolate chips with frosting were good -Caramel Apple Pie - the pie crumble makes this nice -Sparkle Berry - this one was just okay -Tropical Bliss - the coconut really helps this one stand out Overall, I would say it is a nice treat, but without being the one who paid for it I don't know whether it is really worth it. My girlfriend and I loved the clean festive ambiance of this restaurant. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. My girlfriend wanted to try my Sweater Weather Roll but she thought she couldn't because of the "cream cheese". A staff member then told us that all of the menu items are vegan! Four of us went here for dessert on a Saturday evening. It was pretty crowded but not to bad. It is located in some sort of strip mall set up so there is plenty of parking around. Got a little gift certificate to visit this adorable cinnamon bun shop for my kids before breaking some "not good" news to them. This is such a unique concept, from make your own (bun, frosting, topping) to some menu item creations. We stuck with menu items because they looked beyond delicious and sure enough they served the purpose of delivering delicious with a bang! The buns are nice and warm, the containers are compostable, the store is impeccable clean, staff helps you make decisions, masks are in place, covid protocols plenty good! There's no in-house dining but even after a 20 min drive home, those buns were soft, warm gooey goodness! My kids loved this and we will be back to celebrate little joys in life or cheer up from setbacks. Cinnaholic is located in a large shopping complex, parking can be tricky right in front of the store but there are plenty of spaces if you are willing to drive around. There is seating inside and outside of the store. There is one unisex bathroom available inside. There were two employees working on the day I went. Service was quick and easy. There are some premade cinnamon roll examples that you can choose from but don't forget to look at the menu as there are more examples than there are physical ones shown. I received my cinnamon roll and a card board container and a paper bag and it made me real happy carrying this around. I got Banana Foster because why not try something new! I was excited to try out Cinnaholic! I think the concept is such an interesting idea, the fact that everything is vegan! I had to go dairy free for a while and it's hard to find tasty dairy free desserts. Not here! You don't have to worry about missing out on flavor or any contamination. I do agree with others that it would be awesome if all the toppings were out Chipotle style for you to add on. I liked their preset cinnamon bun creations, but I wish they would have listed all the ingredients. I ended up with a make your own and did the cream cheese frosting after seeing it on the cookie monster. However since the bun is warm the cream cheese frosting melts all over, nothing like the display at all. I just didn't realize it would change to that type of texture. It was tasty though. I added on the pie crumble and it added a nice bit of crunch to the sweet treat. To me there was a bit of an aftertaste, but maybe it was because it was a vegan cream cheese and not traditional, I'm not sure. The employee who helped me was super friendly and happy to explain everything to me for my first visit. I'd definitely head back in and I think it's a fun treat. They have baked goods, brownies , cookies and the star worthy huge cinnamon rolls and even dole whip (can't wait to come back here in the summer to try! First day today and they were slammed with a huge line outside waiting for the ten AM opening. I got in line at 9:50 and didn't get thru the door till 11:15! I guess that's what happens when you offer a $1 special for opening day only for the buns. These are the gourmet version of cinnamon buns with all the frosting and toppings they have to offer. Plus everything is vegan. When it comes to the frosting I'm a purest and cream cheese frosting is enough for me, but the maple frosting did catch my eye to consider on another visit.
