I visited on grand opening day and loved it! The place was pretty crowded (good for them!) so we had to wait a little bit but these cinnamon rolls were worth the wait! I got the seasonal flavor "Santa's milk and cookies". I loved every single bit of the warm cinnamon roll topped with icing, cookies, and sprinkles. It is very sweet and indulgent!

Second time at this shop (different locations each time) Food: I have had a Cinnabon and honestly not impressed when compared to the dough/ based texture and flavor of the original Cinnabon. I do love how customizable the Cinnabons are but haven't LOVED the flavors I've tried. My partner ordered a Cinnabon and I opted for a cookie this time around. It was a good cookie (cinnadoodle) texture wise and flavor wise. Price: the Cinnabons are worth the price maybe because of the size and the toppings you can add to it. But the cookie I felt was overpriced for the size. Service: both time I have visited the company shop (different locations) I have been asked to wait a few minutes though no1 else was in the shop. It seems they prepare orders that come in via the app maybe? But it seems awkward to wait around when no one else is in the shop. The service is not the fastest but not their fault they are doing their best, the shop just seems to only have one or two people working the shop at a time. They seem a bit frazzled and that's with just one client I can't imagine if multiple customers came in. Ambiance: shops are consistent in decore and set up. Welcoming and smells amazing. They have some seating and my favorite part is that they have their popular and newer items on display so you know what you are getting.

Upon entering the place is clean and bright. The food case was full of samples you could look at - then when you order they make it fresh. The counter worker was friendly- I ordered the pistachio with no chocolate she asked if I would like almonds I said sure. The roll itself was fresh - there was no flavor of pistachio-or pistachios on it. (I also realized later I was charged for the Almonds) The frosting was sweet. The bathroom was clean they even have an automatic garbage can.

Updating my review after visiting several more times over the years. I am still a fan of this gourmet vegan bakery. The price is limiting as with similar establishments, however, cinnaholic does use high-quality ingredients and the portions are large. The only item I dislike is the vanilla frosting they use for the cookie dough. It is gritty, overly sweet, and has an off taste. I recommend sticking with the cream cheese frosting. The employees are helpful and the flavors are displayed in the case and posted on the menu board. The website also lists the flavors and detailed information on the ingredients. The cinnamon rolls take a while to make, but they are worth the wait. Parking is available out front or close by as long as Parkside isn't too crowded. Overall, a good option if you want a large, delicious cinnamon roll!

We went to Cinnaholic for a Yelp Elite event. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly explaining the menu. The cinnamon roll unfortunately missed the mark. It was a little too doughy and overall the roll was too sweet. An ok experience but probably won't be back

Run.... Run.... Run.... These cinnamon rolls are THE BEST I've ever had. Even better, as someone who tries to avoid dairy, they're vegan!! The old school roll is my favorite, the others are overwhelmingly sweet for me, but I would absolutely recommend going here. The cookie dough bites and cookie dough are 10/10 would recommend. I've been here so many times and totally forget to review it every time because I'm too busy eating it! If you sign up for the rewards, you get points and I get emails with coupon codes regularly. Seriously, If you've not gone, you need to try this ASAP. These are the BEST cinnamon rolls I've ever had in my life.

I was about to give four-stars until I saw that this place is 100% plant based. Does that mean that these treats are healthy? I had a friend who bought four different Signature Rolls so I got to try the following: -Cookie Monster - pretty nice and the chocolate chips with frosting were good -Caramel Apple Pie - the pie crumble makes this nice -Sparkle Berry - this one was just okay -Tropical Bliss - the coconut really helps this one stand out Overall, I would say it is a nice treat, but without being the one who paid for it I don't know whether it is really worth it. I will have to investigate next time I am in town.

Got to try Cinnaholic in Cary! The manager was very friendly and the interior was very festive. Here are the rolls I tried: Campfire S'mores - Marshmallow frosting with graham cookies marshmallows and chocolate. Cookie Monster - Cream cheese frosting with cookie dough, chocolate chips and chocolate sauce. Fluffernutter Roll - Fluffernutter frosting topped with homemade peanut butter cups, marshmallows and chocolate sauce. Pumpkin Spice Roll - Pumpkin frosting topped with marshmallows, homemade Cinnadoodle cookie bites and cinnamon dust. This is my favorite roll! The cookie bites taste like Snickerdoodles! Savory Pizza Roll - Cinnaholic dough rolled with savory marinara and dairy free cheese shreds. Topped with more sauce and cheese. The sweet buns were all very decadent and heavy but makes for a shareable treat :) Tasted even better microwaved the next day. Pizza rolls were a nice savory contrast and very doughy!

My girlfriend and I loved the clean festive ambiance of this restaurant. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. My girlfriend wanted to try my Sweater Weather Roll but she thought she couldn't because of the "cream cheese". A staff member then told us that all of the menu items are vegan! My girlfriend was so excited because she has a dairy allergy and not many places are completely dairy free. We tried the Sweater Weather and Apple Cobbler rolls. Sweater Weather was a unanimous favorite. We both loved the warm cinnamon roll, fresh slices of banana, banana bread bites, and the rich frosting. I came back and ordered a bunch of rolls over the phone. A staff member Julie answered and she was super upbeat and helpful! We lost connection and she quickly called back and made sure my order was complete. Thank you for great customer service!

Four of us went here for dessert on a Saturday evening. It was pretty crowded but not to bad. It is located in some sort of strip mall set up so there is plenty of parking around. There are also some indoor seats as well as outdoor benches around. The rolls are amazing and huge! Two of us couldn't finish one of the buns. We got the cookie monster bun! If you aren't a diabetic going in, you may be when you leave!! Seriously, these are very good and if cinnamon buns with toppings are your thing... you need to check it out!

Came to this spot last night after dinner for a sweet treat. This was actually my second time coming to this place. There is a lot of options so it can be a bit overwhelming. My party and I tried 3 rolls; rocky road, banana split and Cookie Monster. The presentation for all the rolls were nice and looked delicious. I had the Cookie Monster roll that came with some Oreo cookie pieces on top. The roll was good but it is very sweet so beware when selecting a roll and the toppings that come on it. Overall I would visit this place again

Got a little gift certificate to visit this adorable cinnamon bun shop for my kids before breaking some "not good" news to them. This is such a unique concept, from make your own (bun, frosting, topping) to some menu item creations. We stuck with menu items because they looked beyond delicious and sure enough they served the purpose of delivering delicious with a bang! The buns are nice and warm, the containers are compostable, the store is impeccable clean, staff helps you make decisions, masks are in place, covid protocols plenty good! There's no in-house dining but even after a 20 min drive home, those buns were soft, warm gooey goodness! My kids loved this and we will be back to celebrate little joys in life or cheer up from setbacks. Parking at Parkside can be challenging (if you hate a walk) but there's always been parking when we've visited.

I recognized this place on shark tank and wanted to try it out. I loved that you can make your own, but they also had prearranged desserts too for about the same price. Pros about this place was that the flavor of the cinnamon roll wasn't overpowering. I liked the fresh fruit and the raspberry frosting wasn't too sweet either. At about $6 per roll, I'm not sure if I'll be coming back here frequently.

Got it. Here is the revised Yelp review with the correct name:…read more My wife and I recently stopped by Once in a Blue Moon Bakery and Café in downtown North Carolina, and we left already planning our next visit. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted promptly and served with genuine kindness. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. It feels like the kind of place where you can slow down, sit across from someone you love, and actually enjoy your coffee. We ordered an espresso, a latte, a chocolate croissant, and a lemon pastry. Everything was fresh. The croissant had crisp, flaky layers on the outside and a soft, buttery texture inside. The lemon pastry was bright and balanced, not overly sweet. The espresso was strong and smooth. The latte was well crafted and comforting. Service was quick without feeling rushed. The space was clean. The overall experience was simple and well done. If you are in downtown and want good coffee, fresh pastries, and attentive service, Once in a Blue Moon Bakery and Café is worth your visit. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will return. On the positive side, the flavors themselves were solid overall. The icing was tasty, and while the cake was decent, it leaned a bit dry, which was already giving us pause given this was meant to showcase their best work. What really ended the conversation for us was a major quality issue. Two of the icing sample balls each had a very long hair in them. It was immediately noticeable and extremely off-putting. At that point, we lost confidence and couldn't bring ourselves to continue sampling, let alone consider trusting them with something as important as a wedding cake. Between the dryness of the cake and the hair issue, we ultimately decided to go in a different direction. Not terrible flavor-wise, but the experience as a whole was disappointing and fell short for such a high-stakes purchase.

I went with a chocolate chip cookie, a pain au chocolat, a pineapple brûlée, and a salted caramel pretzel croissant crisp. I had initially planned on just eating half of it to save the other half for the next day, but I couldn't help myself from finishing the whole thing in one sitting. That's how good it was. I also ordered the salted caramel pretzel matcha latte and asked for a regular size. The staff gave me the largest 20oz. I was a bit confused since I was expecting a smaller size when I first tried to order from the app, but I heard him say the other size was 24oz so I thought 20oz was the smallest they had. Looking back at the app, they did have a smaller 12oz size, a 16oz size, and no 24oz size. Anyways, I just didn't drink the whole thing. The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. I wonder what they do with the pastries that are not sold by the end of the day / expiration date. They removed everything in the middle aisle pastry cases while I was there. I hope they don't just throw them away. They could probably use TooGoodToGo - just saying.

"VERY hole-in-the-wall Middle Eastern patisserie"…read more This gives hole-in-the-wall new meaning. The location is in a strip-mall that's set back a ways from 55, so it's not really visible from the street at all. However, it's weirder than that-- you have to drive AROUND the strip mall to the back, past the various loading docks for other stores, and they you see this place is open just from the BACK of the strip mall. I heard the owner is Algerian, but there are many Palestinian references and flags around the shop, so if that's triggering, then know this in advance before coming in. Still, the place is brightly lit and airy, with tables to eat. They do custom cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts, but we just wanted to sample some sweets. Hours are funny-- just midday Friday through Sunday. We ordered a pecan brownie and a pistachio chocolate dish with kunafa (shredded Middle Eastern pastry), as well as a mocha coffee. The mocha coffee was rich and delicious, as expected. The pistachio chocolate dish with kunafa was to-die-for... SO delicious. Super thick and messy, as you'd hope it would be. And of course the pecan brownie was amazing. I will say the pastries are not "cheap". I got a single tahini chocolate chip cookie to go for a friend, and that was $4.50 for a modest sized cookie. The other dishes above were in the $6 range. But these are unusual custom-made dishes, so it's fair.
