Nutritious vegan food at a decent price. We stopped here for lunch and left happy and full. The lady working the counter (Veena?) was welcoming and helpful. It was our first time here so she provided insight on popular choices. We opted for the tikka burger ($10.99), breakfast burger ($12.99), and kale slaw ($4.50). We chose to sit outside and our meal was brought to us. The order was accurate and arrived quickly making it a good spot for short lunch breaks. A water station and more seating is available inside. We enjoyed each of the items but found the texture of the Tikka burger and the flavor of the kale slaw surprising. Although the tikka burger looks crispy, it's not at all. It's very soft. Not an issue if expected, but seeing a crispy burger while biting into a tender patty was disappointing. I really wanted that crunch. If I made this at home I'd put something with a crunchy texture on it like pickles, crispy onions, peppers, etc. Then the kale salad was drowned in dressing. I know it's slaw but it was too much.

This place is great if you have food allergies. I am not Vegan, but I like the fact I can eat the cheese here. I have the burger which is made with impossible meat, it was full of flavor the bun and the cheese were delicious. It was a bit pricy, but it had great flavor. The employee was very helpful and friendly; the outside tables were nice. The burger came with no sides - we ordered the kale salad- not my favorite- it was drowning in dressing; I didn't eat it.

AMAZING FOOD!!! I love this place so much! Came in for the vegan chickn club breakfast and my hubby got a chikn bacon ranch sandwich. He's not a vegan but he really enjoyed it and said the chikn had really good texture. Both our dishes were delicious, and the service was great. The ownership is friendly and welcoming, and the decor + ambience is lovely for dining in. We'll definitely keep coming back! give this place a try if you haven't yet!!!

Enjoyed my visit here! Husband and I came here to try their vegan food for dinner on a Friday evening. The place was small, but had plenty of seating available. Our order also came out rather quickly too which was nice. I got the backyard burger, and he got the chicken sandwich and an order of chili fries, and we also got a jackfruit biriyani and a side order of Mac and cheese to share. My favorite was definitely my burger! It was super flavorful. I also loved my husband's chili fries. The portion was huge and we had to take most of it home! They were super fresh and hot! The Mac and cheez was good too, nice and creamy. I didn't like his chick'n sandwich as much as my burger, but chicken sandwich lovers would definitely enjoy it as it tasted like real chicken! My husband enjoyed it as well. We weren't too used to the flavor of jackfruit from our biriyni, but people who love spicy might like this dish. I would definitely come back again for burger and fries though, and would love to come during lunch to try their juices and mango lassi!!

The name doesn't make this obvious, but this place is a mix of Indian and more American style items. The American style trends more towards the fake meat and cheese kind of thing, while the Indian food is more classic to the cuisine. Stopping in for brunch, I got both an uttapam and a side of tofu scramble. The uttapam was good, but I wasn't sold that is was the best you'd be able to get in an area with as many Indian restaurants as the Triangle. The tofu scramble on the side had some curry spices and finely chopped vegetables and was quite scrumptious. Adding a chai resulted in a very spicy beverage with ginger and other zingy flavors and possibly some tea. I doubt you'd struggle to find this sort of Indian food done well around here, but if you're seeking vegan specifically, then this is the place to look.

Being new to Plant based foods we've decided to go out and try some vegan/plant based foods to help expand our dishes. I've tried a different restaurant before (not this one) and it wasn't good so I was nervous to try another place. And it's no regrets here. The food is delicious and VERY flavorful. We definitely will be back.

It's a quick option with breakfast/ brunch and lunch/dinner items. Operating hours are reasonable, food is okay. I've tried the chick'n sandwich as well as the buffalo sandwich, bbq sandwich which is pretty good if if you're ok with the texture and if not opt for jackfruit. Fried cauliflower lacked flavor when I had it and the sauces didn't help. The biryani rice for the price I wouldn't get again, plus it was too spicy which I don't think is noted on the menu. This has never been a spot for me but a quick vegan option since there are not too many options in this area. Also, the service is pretty quick every time I've been.

I ordered an impossible burger with toppings on the side. Unfortunately, I did not receive lettuce, tomato and pickle. I did receive a kale mixture and the ketchup, mustard, and garlicky sauce. Despite the omission of toppings the burger was good and the sweet potato fries. The sweet potatoes set in was a nice size, served hot. The carrot cupcake was delicious, but the portion was noticeable small. It was more like a half of a cupcake. The cauliflower wings was a large portion, but there was a dark seasoning on the cauliflower that overpowered the Buffaloe seasoning, which was quite tasty. As a vegan, it was a treat to eat here. Nice atmosphere.

Wandered into Pure Vegan cafe for lunch. It's a counter service place in a strip mall. It has several tables and a relaxing environment with lots of plants except for the too loud contemporary pop music that was blasting. The menu is large -- something for everyone. I'm not vegan but am gluten free and I could not say no to a gluten free Belgian waffle. I cannot even remember the last time I had a waffle! It came with strawberries, coconut cream and syrup. The menu advertised maple syrup but it was not. It was your basic syrup with main ingredient being corn syrup. The waffle was fabulous -- crispy on the outside but dense and moist on the inside. Perfection. I did not eat the coconut cream. Husband ordered the chicken and waffle and enjoyed his as well. We ate there and although our food was served on real plates the only cutlery was plastic. Metal flatware would have been better for cutting. Overall a decent spot and great place for vegans.

I think this place has changed ownership since the last time we came here. However I don't believe this has changed the quality of the food. This review will be short and sweet. I'm not a vegan but this place crush's making awesome vegan food. The buffalo sauce burger is may favorite burger here. Prices are fairly reasonable. The ambience is fine but could be worked on a bit more. Service was quick, we didn't wait more than about 5-8 minutes for our food. Will be back!

Very grateful for this restaurant in Brennan Station on Creedmoor Road (on the Chow side) when the Vegan relatives came to town recently. There were items that made non-Vegans happy as well. Order at the counter. Menu is large and enticing. Much of it is Indian inspired. Plenty of American options as well. They also have breakfast items all day and do smoothies. I tried the PVC Tikki, which is a burger made from potato, peas, carrot and spices, and toppings. Also got an order of sweet potato fries for the table. Husband tried the South of the Border Burger, which is an Impossible burger with toppings. Littles did the Strawberry Cream Waffle, one of whom made the mistake of pouring too much syrup on his, then couldn't eat it because it was "too sweet" LOL. Both types of fries were delicious. Others tried some of the Indian style offerings and loved them. I tasted the Samosa with potato & peas which comes with two sauces. It packed some heat and had lots of flavor. Dislikes: the drinks! Two "lemonades" for the kids were $17. They were bottled juices, so that was why, but it would have been nice to have some less expensive drink options. Didn't help that they forgot to bring them. Had to ask for them when the food arrived. No alcohol here, by the way. And my biggest dislike about the drinks is if you want water, they have small thin plastic cups that you pour yourself and no ice. Atmosphere is that of what it is, a counter-service restaurant. When they are preparing smoothies the blending is super loud.

Sweet Potato Fries (GF, SF, NF)

The food is delicious! We've had the backyard burger it's his favorite and I enjoy as well! The fries are crispy but the sweet potatoes don't come crispy. I had the buffalo chik'n and the chik'n bacon ranch. Buffalo had too much sauce for me personally but the chik'n bacon ranch was delicious! I recommend adding pickles to any one that doesn't come with them! We shared a chili dog I believe will double check that and it was soooo goood! I'm not a fan of the sodas. I recommend the shakes/smoothies. I had the Java smoothie and it was so good I definitely want to get another! I highly recommend this place! Easy parking and clean location. Friendly staff and it's clean and nice inside.

Are the burgers handmade or are they just dressed up Impossible Burgers? Thank you

Yes or something of the sort. There is a tikki burger but I think it's a mix. They don't have house-made patties, which would be a really good option for them.

If you've been looking for a place where the decor matches the menu calorie-for-calorie in pure, unadulterated green, you've just found your mother-nature-loving mothership. Element has one major, glaring ecosystem issue: the service operates on a timeline that makes a slow-growing redwood tree look impatient. I have given this place a fair shake several times, occupied various green velvet booths, dodged low-hanging pothos vines, and worked my way through a good chunk of the menu. Take the Chili, for instance--it's actually quite good. The re-occurring theme here is a pacing problem that turns a casual downtown dinner into an endurance test. It starts at the bar. You order 2 drinks and you watch the bartender meticulously attend to the bar with no urgency whatsoever. And the food service? It's a test of human patience. The gap between your drink order and any food order stretches so long you begin to wonder if they are currently outside harvesting the beans by hand in Moore Square. On more than one occasion, the wait has transcended "slow" and entered the realm of "disrespectful." When you plan for a multi-stop crawl night, one painfully slow venue completely hijacks the timeline and leaves the rest of the night dead in the water. Cheers!

They've got these plush, deep green velvet booths that hug you sweeter than a Southern grandma, paired with large, dramatic blue dining chairs that practically scream, "Sit and Stay a While". Everywhere you look, there is gleaming copper decor catching the light, reflecting off soft, warm wood tones that keep the whole place from feeling stuffy. It's upscale, sure, but it breathes. It is bustling, animated, and humming with gossip and laughter. It's high-end, but not overly formal. Now for the bar - The Old Fashioned is absolutely gorgeous, the star of the show being the unique craft ice. That giant block of ice is taking up about 90% of real estate so they are giving you a very short pour on the liquid. It's about three sips of actual cocktail swimming around a diamond-grade ice cube. It is high-end and it tastes wonderful--just don't expect a heavy pour. A must try - The Ultimate Four-Cheese Truffle Kulcha, they threw out the rulebook for this blend. Pillowy, tandoor-baked dough with sharp, bitey white cheddar, a wonderfully funky and oozing brie, a sharp and nutty asiago, and just enough mozzarella to give you a cheese pull that stretches all the way to next week. It's laced with finely minced fresh chili and topped with blistered, smoky shishito peppers, complete with a truffle flex. Now hold onto your pearls, darlin', because their butter chicken is not that neon-orange, overly sweet butter chicken you get from the mall food court. This is the sophisticated, high-society glow-up that your tastebuds have been praying for. They start with chicken thighs that are so perfectly moist it ought to be a crime. Then the Gravy (The Showstopper): This is a velvety, luxurious makhani sauce made from deeply smoked tomatoes and red peppers. It has a sultry, back-of-the-throat woodsmoke depth that plays beautifully with the sweet acidity of the peppers. It's finished with a generous dusting of fragrant, herbaceous fenugreek leaves. Just when you think it can't get any richer, it's crowned with dehydrated butter that melts right back into the sauce as it hits your table, creating an impossibly glossy, silk-sheet texture. The food is pure luxury, but the rice portion is giving 'recession.' Don't let them starve your sauce--order extra rice right out of the gate and eat like the king or queen you are. Before you get completely drunk on truffle butter and smoky makhani sauce, you need to look at the bottom of that menu, they are slipping in a warning and I am here to make sure you don't get caught off guard when the check drops. We had a 70 degree surprise January day while we were there, so we did just that. We started our brunch with a couple of drinks: a bloody mary and an iced coffee. The bloody mary had a nice kick. Just the right amount of spice without going overboard. The iced coffee was smooth, not bitter at all, and honestly a great pairing if you're not in the mood for booze. To start, we shared the Dill Pickle Pimento Cheese with ripple-cut fries. I'm a sucker for pimento cheese and this one was outstanding. The dill relish gave it a tangy, fresh twist that worked so well with the creamy cheese. Scoop it up with those crispy ripple fries and you're golden. It's a shareable appetizer, but honestly, I'd come back just for that. For my lunch, I had the Chicken Caesar Pita. This isn't your average Caesar wrap. It was tasty, I wasn't expecting the chicken to be pulled, but it was pull juicy, marinated chicken, tons of Tuscan kale for a hearty bite, and generous shavings of parmesan. The charred Caesar dressing brought it all together with that smoky, savory flavor. The pita bread held everything nicely without getting soggy, and the portion was just right: filling, but not overwhelming. Service was super friendly and paced perfectly, not rushed, but never left waiting. Menu options looked creative and inclusive, with plenty for vegetarians and craft beer lovers, too. We had a great experience and I'll definitely be recommending it to friends who are going to Raleigh!
