We waited in line to get into this spot for breakfast. Inside was bustling v with activity. We had time to review the menu while waiting. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. I tried a cocktail and it was ok. The food was very tasty and portioned well. I only gave 4 starts because there was a fly buzzing at our table and I would not expect that in this type of restaurant.
We came by with three of us in a party. We did street meter parking on the opposite side of the restaurant. The line was out the door with a 25 minute wait. The nice things is once you're inside nobody rushed you off your table. The food came out hot and delicious. Everyone we interacted was very friendly. I'd return.
Such a unique name and the location was great. Although not a lot a traffic, this place seemed to be full. You can dine in or sit outdoors which does have some shade due to the high building around it. You pick up a menu and walk to the counter to order. You're given a wooden number to place on your table and they will bring you your order. Pretty unique in itself. Seating wasn't too crowded and had room to move. Inside out out, we had a great view. I ordered the garden basket in the count that I saw the picture on the monitor and quickly changed my mind. The fiancé ordered the frenchie with a side of O/M eggs and bacon. Here too the bacon was cooked too perfection. I forgot that their signature is the biscuit so the frenchie was actually a biscuit made like French toast. The fiancé didn't care much for it as it was quite thick to his liking but the berries gave it a flavor that cancelled out the saltiness. The garden basket was like an inside out omelet with the veggies sitting in top of the egg and the potatoes were crunchy but soft on the inside. Lots of foods but tasted amazing. I also ordered the pumpkin praline which was over the top greatness. Loved the mug as I wanted to keep it lol. I sipped on my coffee for a minute enjoying its warm nutty taste which left me wanting more. I do believe this is in season but they have other choices during the year. Definitely going to be stopping back by when in Raleigh.
Second review!! That FIre in your Belly biscuit didn't miss! Man. That thing didn't make it home and probably never will. Picture- a juicy nice sized perfectly seasoned and fried chicken breast, chipotle aioli, cheese and slightly sweet pickles on a perfect biscuit. I devoured it! Okay okay enough about that chicken. I also had the pancakes and bacon and mom had eggs, potatoes (a little too salty) and sausages. All the food was good. Next time I have to try the green fries tomatoes and grits because I'll definitely be back. Service- EXCELLENT! They greet you when you enter. The cashier was sooooo patient with my questions. The. The cook came out to apologize for not making my order to go. All good. The place is clean and bright. Can't wait to go back!
Seaboard area has gone through some changes recently, including the addition of Biscuit Belly. I am not a super fan of biscuits but I like them well enough. That said, Belly Biscuit serves up an above average one. I got the Basic Biscuit with bacon, for $11.25. I also got a latte which I enjoyed very much. It's order then sit down and my food arrived fairly quickly on a busy Saturday morning. The area is kinda fun, good amount of parking. I want to try the surrounding restaurants as well. Overall a nice spot to enjoy breakfast or brunch!
This was a cool spot to drop in and grab a bite to eat for breakfast or brunch and some breakfast cocktails too. It's a "grab a menu, order and find a seat spot" so pretty laid back which I like. Plenty of menu options. I opted for the G.O.A.T. because I was craving a sweet and savory flavor so the goat cheese with the jelly was a combo I was looking for. I chose a side of the loaded tots that I enjoyed the most And I tried the espresso martini which was decent. So it's an ok spot for the local neighborhood.
Good. We may be a bit spoiled by Viscous Biscuit, as the biscuits were smaller here and the meals less flavorful. Missed having a butter bar too. That said, the Benny was good, though the brisket a bit dry. The Mamas Boy was, well, big, fried and (unfortunately) kind of one note. The Bonuts were the sweet star of the show. Wouldn't rush back, wouldn't be mad to be back.

Went to Biscuit Belly for their Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week lunch special and the Buffalo Ranch Biscuit was incredible! The chicken was moist and crispy. The buffalo sauce was not too spicy, the ranch almost had an aioli flavor, the pickles brought in some sweetness and the biscuit was fluffy. My phone died before I could take a picture of the lavender mimosa but it was THE BEST mimosa I've ever had. They have indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor seating has a nice view towards downtown. They are open for breakfast and lunch only so be sure to check the hours before going. Service was quick and friendly. I would absolutely recommend. If you see this before Restaurant Week is over, check it out!!
Stopped in while in town for a concert. First off, the restaurant has the cutest vibes. We were greeted by the friendliest staff. Parking was easy to find and the restaurant validates for the garages. My friend and I each had a biscuit and shared the gravy train. All I can say is YUM! The mushroom gravy was to die for! I just wish there were more biscuits for the amount of gravy you get. I also tried a latte which was delicious. I will most deffinetley be visiting the next time I am in town.

I ordered the bacon chicken wrap with grits and a jumbo strawberry mimosa. My friend went with the basic biscuit - pork sausage and a yogurt & berries bowl. The grits were cooked perfectly with a nice thick texture and nicely salted. I was amazed at the portion of bacon that came in the wrap and the chicken was seasoned well. Big portion and worth the money. I appreciate the fact that it's open seating without a traditional host stand. The dining room is causal, colorful, cozy, and well lit. One of my new breakfast favorites in Raleigh. The location is convenient to hotels downtown for business or leisure travelers looking for a quality bite to eat to start their day. This has to be my favorite biscuit place ever!! Though the format is not like a regular restaurant and here you order and pay first before you sit, I appreciate that they do come around frequently enough and even ask if you want to order something else or more! The bonuts had to be my most favorite item on the menu! Almost ordered a second batch but I just couldn't fit anything else after the biscuit. Which, the biscuit was amazing within itself as well! We visit Raleigh often and have tried many a biscuit place. This one was great. I had the GOAT and it did not disappoint. I knew immediately when I saw it on the menu that I was going to order it. I've been chasing the Maple Street squawking goat for years. This was close. The only drawback or criticism I have of this location was the parking. If you have someone with mobility issues this place is a challenge. The parking lots are confusing and there are no signs inside them to let you know where to go. Maybe in their ig or website they could be clear about which structure to park in? read more

Great food and environment. Staff was really kind. We got the Rockwell Supreme (w/o bacon) w/ a side of cheesy grits, Bacon Chicken Ranch Wrap (w/ grilled chicken) w/ a side of home fries, and the Loaded Tots. Rockwell was delicious and filling! Chicken Ranch Wrap was good but a little on the dry side, most likely due to the grilled chicken. Cheesy grits and house fries were standard. Came for lunch on a wednesday afternoon and there was no wait or line. I have been wanting to try to place for a while and i'm glad i did! I ordered and paid at a counter and the food was brought out to us quickly. We sat outside because we brought our dog. There is plenty of outdoor seating which was nice. I got an order of bonuts, which came out hot and fresh. Had bourbon cream cheese frosting and some jam to dip them in. Came with a lot of pieces and Super tasty! I also ordered a brisket biscuit. Had 3 large pieces of brisket and some decent pickle slices on there. A little pricey for $13, considering it was just a sandwich and no side. As a biscuit connoisseur, I can say emphatically that these were some of the best in all of Carolina. It wasn't just the taste of the biscuits that makes this place special, but quite literally everything else. The atmosphere is friendly and familiar, yet completely unique. The line was long, which is always a good sign, especially given how quickly we were served. My boyfriend and I thought that the lattes were as good as the food... maybe even better! Best latte I have ever had, hands down. If I lived above this joint, I'd never cook my own breakfast again. Thank you, Biscuit Belly, for a wonderful experience for a morning date and a new place in my top 5 favorite biscuit establishments. read more

We were so looking forward to trying Biscuit Belly, it was just a very average meal. The stand out was the bacon, it was very good. The grits were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the French toast was not very good, the fried chicken breast was ok. We might try Biscuit Belly again but would choose different entrees. Very pricey, two entrees, 4 slices of bacon and grits was almost $50. Costly considering the meal was a solid 3/5. read more

Fluffy biscuits were the cornerstone of s most excellent breakfast! The chicken filets were perfectly cooked and flavorful. I went for broke snd had gravy and an egg on mine. Between the biscuit, Bonuts and tots, I was stuffed with half the biscuit left. It was too delicious not to finish so I powered through to completion.
