The setup is counter service, with a handful of premade salads and bowls on the menu, or you can build your own. The build-your-own option starts at $12.99 and includes your base, five toppings, one crunchy/dry topping, and dressing. Proteins are extra and range from about $4.25-$6.50, with options including tofu, shrimp, chicken, steak, and tuna. I opted for a build-your-own bowl with chicken, which came out to just under $20 before tip. At first, that felt a little pricey to me, but the portion size was absolutely massive. Honestly, it was large enough to easily make two meals, which made the value feel much better. The woman helping me was incredibly friendly and even let me sample three different dressings before deciding. I also appreciated that you can get your dressing on the side if you prefer. All 3 I tried were good, but all very different, and I'm glad I had a chance to try them! One thing to note is that it was fairly warm inside the business, which gave me a little pause considering it's a salad-focused concept. That said, everything tasted fresh and high quality. There were only two employees working during my visit on a Wednesday around 6:30, and with about 4-5 people ahead of me, it took around 20 minutes to place my order, get my bowl made, and check out. The staff was working hard, and being incredibly helpful, but if you're in a hurry, just plan accordingly. Overall, I'd definitely return. It's nice to have a quality salad option at Boxyard, the ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was helpful and kind. Just be prepared that there may be a bit of a wait and to spend around $20 if you're adding protein (but you can easily share or make two meals from it!!!) I had been meaning to stop in to visit Will and Well for months and was not disappointed when I did! I'd seen that celebrity Tabitha Brown stopped by recently and loved the salads, which made me want to visit even more. I stopped through on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the signature salad, Salsa Verde with quinoa (you can add your choice of grain) and a freshly made hibiscus juice (so refreshing!). Everything was so fresh and so delicious. The salad was coated with just the amount of dressing and the sweet potatoes on the salad were a special treat, making the salad both unique and delicious! The hibiscus juice was refreshing and not syrupy sweet like many juices from other establishments. I will definitely be back to try other salads! read more

I'll keep this short and sweet since there's not much to say. The Boxyard is a cool spot for diverse eating, and last night the weather was nearly perfect. The outdoor seating was fantastic, although I almost thought I was in the wrong place at first because it resembled a corporate complex as we arrived. Still, once you're there, it feels appropriately chill and relaxed. Regarding this specific place, I ordered the Oasis with chicken, and it was quite delicious and LARGE. With the extra protein and tip, it cost around $20 for dinner (including leftovers). My body was really happy with the variety of ingredients and the colorful array of veggies and proteins. The only small quibble we had was that my wife ordered a smoothie, and they were out of bananas. They were also just closing when we arrived, so I can't hold that against them under the circumstances. The cashier was apologetic and willing to substitute other ingredients, but the moment has passed. Overall, a great little place to grab food, and I enjoyed the collective Boxcar vibe. A nice and clean salad bar that's black owned! You can create your own salad or order a pre-made salad. Non of their pre made salads come with meat. There is an up charge for meat. All of the dressings and drinks are house made! Service was fast and accurate! Prices are expensive but the salads are huge! For two salads I paid $45 that included drink....thats too much in my opinion. read more

Such a pleasant surprise! I was craving a good salad. When I searched Google maps for salads nearby this place popped up. Drove there and arrived 30 minutes before closing. They looked like they were cleaning up for the day but did not turn us away and were welcoming and friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef and having our meal prepped by the chef (with a little help). I chose the ZEN salad (as is) from the menu and added poke tuna. I appreciated that the chef was able to explain ingredients I had questions about from the dish. Also that they allowed me to dry the dressings before adding it to my salad. The two I tried were amazing but I opted to keep the dish as posted. Everything inside is very clean and organized! I loved that. Everything is labeled and it allows you to know what is going on with your meal prep every step on the way. There is a glass where you can watch your salad being made. Overall I loved my salad! It was a huge salad! Definitely not for one sitting. I will return and try their other options and eventually work up to making my own. The build your own salad was huge! I managed to get 4 meals out of it. We came on a breezy day so eating outside didn't work very well, but that was ok we ate in the car. Most of the places at Boxyard don't have inside seating so we look forward to coming back during warmer weather. read more

I have enjoyed a few salads from Will and Well and they are the best! Very generous portion, quality ingredients, and a lot to choose from. I personally love Harvest Haven. My husband did the build your own today with the Chipotle Lime dressing, and it was fantastic. Did I mention the dairy-free homemade dressings? Many to choose from to perfectly complement your salad. Employees are super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Oh, and they have delicious juice mix beverages. Those are a tad sweet for me, but I think unsweetened tea IS sweet on its own. The store is wonderfully cool on a hot day. No indoor seating but plenty of great tables to be found outside at The Boxyard. Please try them out!
