The shop was very Clean, quiet, and had many types of cinnamon rolls on display. They so sounded so good. I decided on the mimosa flavor and it did not disappoint! It was about the syst of my hand and loaded with the stuffy whipped topping, strawberry pieces, and orange chunk. The tops were being made fresh so it was a short wait of only about 8 minutes. The cinnamon roll prices start from about $8 and go up from there. They also have mini rolls, roll cakes, random nature's goods, and some juice drinks. They let me know they are a vegan bakery. When we arrived there were already some customers seated and enjoying their orders. The gentleman who took out order was very patient as we decided what we wanted to get. He stepped away to fill other orders to give us time to decide. He was very friendly but worked very efficiently which I always appreciate. Our rolls were fresh and tasty. Updated: I spoke to the owner who was very accommodating and helpful. He offered a full refund or to remake the order. I opted for the remake to allow my family a chance to see how pretty they looked. The lady that helped us (I believe was Octavia) was very sweet! I visited the location in Cary and was quite enthusiastic to find that we have one in Raleigh as well! When I say the smells, that will engulf you when you come into this place are beautiful... There's just no other words to describe. The cakes and brownies appear homemade if you will! The prices are great and I think the location is cool too. There's a parking deck in the back if you need to find additional parking. Stop in and grab a bite. The staff was really kind and seemed to really enjoy their job. As a visitor to the city, we were looking for a different kind of dessert to have after dinner. After doing a google maps search, we found this spot. Walking in, it smelled delicious! They have a build your own option, but I decided to go with one of their signature rolls: the Cookie Monster Roll. I love cookies so naturally I chose the cookie dough option. The lady that helped us was very patient and nice. She answered all of the questions we (mostly me lol) had. Now for the roll itself. It was very good, but with the cookie dough and chocolate sauce combo, it was VERY sweet. It's definitely something I could never eat in one sitting. I bought and picked up a single layer cookie cake here today. Unfortunately, when picking it up the cookie cake didn't even fill up the container it was put in. It should be noted, their cake is advertised as feeding 8-12 people. My 12 inch container, which from previous purchases here, I know is the norm for their cakes, had a 9 1/2 inch cake in there. If anyone reading this knows high school level math, you can take the volume of both those and determine a 12 inch cake is 59% more in volume than a 9 1/2 inch one. Unfortunately this is now the second time I've had a cake messed up in my past three orders from this location. The previous mishap being they put chocolate chips on it instead of the chocolate chip cookie bites we had asked for. However that's very minor mishap, so I looked past it. With all that said, the employees are nice, and the lady working the front today did her best to make things better by offering cookies to take for free, so shout out to her, she should be praised for trying to make better the customer experience. However, if you are also looking to get a cookie cake, you might as well go somewhere else, while it might not be as tasty a product as here, you won't get your order messed up nor will you be charged for a full cake when you only get half like I did. In cases like this, the least you could do is charge half the price. Sorry to say, but you lost a customer today. The owners should know, we've now had to pickup an additional cookie cake from another party in order for everyone attending to have some at the upcoming event, so this is ridiculous. read more

So my husband brought me here to try these as I love a good cinnamon roll and his work orders from here a lot. Now he has never had one as he doesn't eat things like this but I was excited to try. We were greeted upon entering and it smelled wonderful inside and the display they had set up everything looks fantastic. I ordered an original cinnamon roll and the cookie one. The lady said she had some hot ones and packaged everything to go. After a few hours I went to dig in and man the presentation is horrible. It looked like a hot mess. I opened the container and the amt of icing is crazy, it was runny as well. I did try a few bites of each and it's just not for me. I really enjoy a good cinnamon roll and I've never been disappointed when I have visited cinnaholic. I try to limit my visits because calories are a bit higher than I like but sometimes you have to treat yourself. I've only tried the old school classic cinnamon roll option and it's always consistently delicious. They serve them warm or fresh and load it with frosting. I find that the frosting is a bit much for me and makes it overly sweet so I ask for half of the frosting. The rolls being vegan are a plus as well! The staff is super friendly, the owner is typically there whenever I go and you can tell that it is a family run business with love. They put special attention into making sure everyone is happy and that each order is up to quality. The location is clean and has ample seating. Whenever I stop in I alway see a family or a group of friends sitting and enjoying time together while eating their rolls. I've also tried their cookies which are just as a delicious as the rolls. I've had the s'mores and the chocolate chip. They are a nice alternative to the rolls of you want something a little less sweet or are just a cookie person. read more

9/16/22: I LOVE CINNAHOLIC. I've been to several between VA & NC. This was our first visit to this new location. The staff were friendly. The store was clean. The aroma in the air was to die for. My only concern was that my bun was flatter than I'm used to seeing and kind of dry. I'm not sure what happened, but the flavor was not what I'm used to from Cinnaholic. My friend enjoyed the pecan bun. It was totally devoured. I didn't eat my entire bun. I will probably try them again in hopes of having the quality bun I'm used to Cinnaholic making. I'd been to a few other Cinnaholic locations (California and Maryland) and so I knew what to expect but it had been a few years. I got the Cookie Monster and it was so indulgent and delicious. I'm proud to say I ate the whole thing in one sitting lol! I hoped to save some for tomorrow but it was so yummy. There was only one guy working today, both taking orders and preparing all the food, and I felt terrible that he was working alone because there was a steady stream of customers. I love that the rolls are vegan. As someone who's dairy free, it's awesome. These rolls are still delicious a few days later. I normally do the custom rolls. My go-to frostings are Coffee and Maple. Almond frosting tastes like whip cream and a hint of cherry in a Chick Fil A milkshake. I'm not a cherry fan so I won't be getting that again. I got fruit flavored frosting before. Lemon, orange, raspberry, etc., but the taste was too artificial so I stick to the two flavors above. Rolls are definitely shareable. You might not want to do that though. Call ahead if you have a big order. It takes them 12 minutes to bake the roll. If you're in a rush, call ahead or you'll be stuck waiting. read more

I was so excited to see this pop up in Raleigh because I was missing the one in San Jose, CA so much! However, I rated it a 3 because I've visited this location numerous times and the customer service here is terrible! I never feel appreciated as a customer and for that reason will probably stop going here. I had so much hope and kept coming back in hopes that the customer service would improve but it hasn't yet. I wanted to leave a review so that I could let the manager/owner know that customer service training is much needed if you want people to keep coming back. The cinnamon rolls, the brownies, and the cookies are perfect but if I don't feel good while buying it i am more likely to choose to go somewhere else instead. Okay so I went in this place expecting to try, for the first time at this establishment, an original cinnamon bun. I expected it to be tasty and I would move on with the remaining tasks I had for the day.@cinnaholic's had other plans. I left with three specialty cinnamon rolls (strawberry shortcake, butter pecan, and something else). Cookie dough uhhhh yeah I want the premade chocolate chip cookie dough to bake at home or eat in the car but that's my business. Almost done...out the corner of my eye close to the register a sign that said day old minis 50% off. These cute little mature minis were coming with me! Lastly as my food was being bagged I topped it all off with the last lemon blueberry square cake peace of heaven. It was the first thing I ate and was gobsmacked with endorphins, dopamine, and all the feel goods that amazing food can provide. Everything was really good. We decided to order a raspberry chocolate cinnamon roll, and a strawberry chocolate cinnamon roll. Man, we're we pleased. The cinnamon roll was soft and fluffy, but also crispy and delicious where it needed to be. The chocolate frosting was also a nice touch, considering I've only had cinnamon rolls with the normal icing. Also the icing ratio on the roll was goated. Some places really don't understand that good icing is a non-negotiable, but I was happy they gave so much! Also, the raspberry's were very fresh, so if you enjoy fruit with sweet dessert, this one's for you. I ate that cinnamon roll like Cookie Monster. Consider it destroyed within like two seconds. We were ravenous, but every bite was very enjoyable. Now, cinnamon rolls aren't my first choice for dessert, but this place really beefed up their rolls and made me enjoy it regardless of what I was in the mood for. Just phoned this business for the first time. The man who answered acted as if he was being bothered by taking an inquiry call. My call was regarding whether they have gluten free options. I was informed that they offer two options...bananas or apples as the base. Toppings are added. When probed further about location, he was impatient to the point of rudeness in tone. I personally did not feel welcomed at all upon entering the Raleigh Cinnaholic location. the gentleman did not greet me as I walked in and immediately stated what do you want without giving me any clue of the products. Not impressed! They are just overpriced cinnamon rolls. They are just like Grands cinnamon rolls you can buy in freezer section at grocery store and cook at home. They have just added toppings to them to make them fancy, also what can do at home at a cheaper price, because you already have most of the toppings at home. I actually wondered if it was just a Grands or they had them shipped in already frozen, because it didn't look like something that they actually prepared there from scratch. read more
