Well here's mine: Parking: 4 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 5+ Customer Service: 5+ This place is down right gorgeous... who would have thought a salad shop could be so suave? The ambiance and decor is super swank with the lime green and grey topped with silver accents here and there. The upscale decor is one of few of my favorite features of DICED. The service is stellar at this location as well. I walked in and was greeted by "Gunner" who was super pleasant. He asked if he could help me decide on my meal. After gazing at this amazing menu I proceeded to the counter where I worked one on one with Gunner. He was well mannered and easy to work with. He gave suggestions that complimented what I asked for. The entire process of getting to the register was a breeze. The team did a great job working hard while having fun and keeping customers engaged. I ended up getting the Southwest Salad and a Kombucha (my first time). I've been to the DICED in Raleigh near Cameroon Village but this one is my new favorite. The open concept is super awesome and the salad was wonderful! Same consistency of the one I normally get in Raleigh. DICED is such a great fast casual location. You can get a healthy alternative quickly and they have so many combinations to try. I love how you can customize each salad to make your own and they have plenty of dairy free options as well. The food is always extremely filling, as they give you a lot of it. I went during covid and they were practicing CDC guidelines and all wearing masks and gloves. You couldn't sit inside to eat, but there was plenty of outdoor seating. I have been waiting for weeks to check this place out and when my hubbs called and mentioned lunch here, I jumped at the opportunity! Wait In general the portion you end with is IMO not rth the price and certainly is not with the kids meal options son picked. It was $32 for two adults and 1 child. We got a $6 Kraft mac n cheese with motts applesauce and an apple juice. It took 10 minutes to get the macn cheese which was microwaved. Had we been waiting for that long and got something of quality I would have been fine, but my hubbs and I sat with our food while our son is staring at us wondering where his food was. Oh and $0.75 for small piece of avocado as a premium add on is just stupid, especially when no credit back for removed ingredients.... I thought the flavors were nice and freshness is great but the frustration of waiting and lack of portion size and associated price just isn't worth it for us... I wanted so much for this to be a hit but sadly not this time. I *may give it another chance after they work out the kinks but definitely not with larger family as the value isn't there. read more

Perfect spot for Monday night takeout. They do have outdoor seating available right now if you prefer that. I ordered the southwest crunch in a whole wheat wrap with grilled chicken. I find this place to be very nice and well decorated on the inside. The salad bar appeared clean and the ingredients fresh. I was greeted once I walked in. There is a variety of fresh greens, veggies, meats and dressings for you to choose from. Any wrap can be turned into a salad. I opted to get their southwest salad since I was told it was there most popular salad. I should have gotten chicken instead of the beef (Filet). My salad was very good and I got the cilantro lime dressing. You could opt for the chipotle ranch, which I'm sure would have complimented the salad better. Additional meats were extra ($3 for chicken and $4 for filet mignon). Without meat the salad is about $9 so your looking at $12-$13 for a salad. It's pricey but I will pay for good quality food. read more

Super fresh and delicious. Had the spicy Thai wrap and it's super spicy. Veggies and the chow mein noodles gave the wrap a nice texture and crunch. I would give 0 stars if I could. Was the only person in the restaurant and had to wait for the lady behind the counter to slowly walk over and put on her gloves. The lady was extremely rude and tried to charge us for protein when we got a vegan bowl. Asked for a water cup and wasn't given one. At this point, I was so annoyed I just wanted to run out of the restaurant. The worst customer service!!! This employee should be fired. I finally made it into Diced for dinner and it was delicious. I got the southwest crunch in a spinach wrap with kale and spinach as my base and added chicken as my protein. What really stood out to me were the dressings they have because they were really what pulled everything together. Since I ordered this specific one, they have two recommended dressings to go with it. It was the chipotle ranch or the cilantro lime and since I couldn't choose, I did a little bit of both. I also switched the black beans to chickpeas and I liked that a lot. I will say that I did find it to be a bit pricey. My wrap came out to $13 and I would need double the amount to make it a meal for me. I definitely see myself stopping by to get a salad here again but do wish they offered a salad with unlimited toppings for the same price because these are like NYC prices! I've been back quite a few times now and I enjoy it every single time but it still hurts my pockets every time I decide to go, so it's more of a treat for me. If you're searching for a good healthy option with tons of flavor, give them a shot. read more

What a great addition to the area! I've now been there twice. The first time, my coworker had a buy one get one free coupon from the mail and we went by to celebrate getting some projects done at work. It's close to Harris teeter, so plenty of parking and easy to find. It's pretty nice inside and looked clean. (My second trip was a late dinner, and I found the experience consistent.) The concept is easy. Make your own or choose a menu suggested salad. Pick your base (rice, a variety of greens, or a wrap) then top and dress. The menu was fun and had great suggestions for salads. I dove into the Thai and my coworker got the Southwest. Both of us loved our choices. Mine was so good, I got it on my second trip too! One of my favorite things was that they DICE up your salad in front of you, which means no awkward shoving spinach in your mouth over lunch. Another thing I liked was the portions are generous. On my first trip, I noticed two things that I'm sure will improve with time. First, while most ingredients (including the fruit) looked very fresh, I noticed right away that some of the romaine lettuce had that oxidized color that meant it wasn't as fresh as I'd like. One other topping shared a similar Hallmark of not being fresh fresh. The other thing was my salad maker was exceptional. Friendly, suggested substitutes (green pepper for jalapeno), and asked all the right questions. My coworker's chef just did as instructed and wasn't too happy. Hopefully he was still training and will be a great chef in the future. On my second trip, there were no issues with service, although the greens still had that red-ish ting. This is the same thing (I don't have instant recall of the Tossed menu but it's very similar). I thought Tossed was great, this is just as good. It's and ok salad place. I usually get a chicken ceaser wrap. The chicken isn't great - kind of chewy but edible. Usually the size of the wraps are decent, but today I got a tiny wrap for $11. I was so excited to see this place open in the old Maddios place. This area needed a great make your own salad place and this place doesn't disappoint. The staff was super friendly and explained the process clearly. The ingredients were fresh and the quantity was a good portion and while the price is more than going to places like chick fil a or other places nearby it's worth it for the fresh healthy ingredients. I love that it's locally owned and that they make their dressings in house. My only feedback is in speed. I hope that as they get busier, they get faster in making the salads. I didn't mind tonight because it was not busy and the staff were engaging in conversations. I will be back often. read more

Food lacked in flavor nearly as much as the crew lacked in their ability to know what was happening next to them. The girl who took my order was so quiet, despite not even having a mask on, that we had to ask for clarification 5 or 6 times. The person assembling our food asked us all the same questions that we already told the girl who took the order. Then our cashier (maybe the manager?) Incredibly asked AGAIN and no one told anyone the answers to all these questions. Also incredibly expensive compared to the 10 grains of salt they spared for seasoning. Truly, do not waste your time. Go to the Harris teeter next door and make your own salad. It might take longer to make your salad but at least you won't lose part of your soul in this god forsaken restaurant. read more

This is a nice addition to the area, as it replaced the old pizza place that was there (Uncle Maddios). They have a selection for everyone, and a decently sized menu. You can do vegetarian, vegan, or put some carne on the salad, and feel good about eating meat with a salad, lol. The lettuce selection is nice too, with field greens, romaine, kale, or spinach. I did the Greek salad with chicken (but added a small amount of the Kale). The lettuce looks huge, but if you have not been here, look at the name. The portion is very large, and it goes into a chopping bowl, they dress it (or not), and chop it to a nice size. The Greek dressing was really tasty, and have to say that overall the salad was very good, and probably the first "newly opened" restaurant that I have been to that I have reviewed on the first visit (they are generally too new to give them a fair shake). They were nice, and the place was pretty busy. Only drawback is that it is kind of expensive, but I pay 15 for an entire meal anywhere else, so whatevs. I hope they do well. read more
