I've been a near daily regular here for lunch for over two years, which is the best endorsement I can give. The staff over the years have been great, and having tried every salad on the menu, they're all fantastic. While the prices have had to change to reflect the economy, and the quantity can vary depending on who is making the salad, the quality never disappoints. Finally tried out Diced and I am SO glad I did. First, the salad options are great - all the preset menu ones looks amazing and you can make your own/customize as you like and even do them as a wrap. The bases (4 different kinds of greens plus rice and quinoa) and a ton of fresh veggies, proteins, cheeses and crispy additions all topped off with an extensive list of dressing options can't be beat. So far I have tried the mango paradise (add chicken) and the Buffalo Chop. Both salads were very large generous portions full of fresh delicious ingredients, they dice everything up right in front of you and mix in the dressing (if you would like). The staff was friendly and fast and the place itself is modern fun and clean. The generous portions and fresh ingredients made the price point well worth it (~$11-13 for my salads the different times I went). I will be back frequently for a health lunch or dinner option that doesn't break the bank or lack for flavor! read more

Large menu, with lots to choose from. I ordered the Southwestern salad with a half grain, half green base. Unfortunately, when they were making my salad, they put the cilantro dressing in when I asked for the chipotle dressing. The re-making process took like 4x the amount of time as it did the first time. (They also left out my avocado and I had to get up and ask for it later in my meal). Then for some reason they chop the salad into smithereens which I was not expecting as this was my first time here. It ended up being a mush instead of a salad. I was not into it. Overall the mush was good, but I would have preferred a salad. ;) read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant today. I showed up a few minutes before they opened, and was the first customer inside. They were still setting up when I walked inside. Two of the employees were working very quickly to set up and acknowledge me saying that they would help me in just a minute. One of the workers decided to start filling online orders instead of helping me first. Eventually a third employee came in no rush was empty McDonald's to go food, I eventually came to take my order after I had been waiting there for a good 5 to 6 minutes. I was excited to have a healthy lunch option but have walked away disappointed each time I've been. The staff clearly needs training on food handling. Employees are cleaning counters, touching their face and making salads - all with the same pair of gloves. Many employees seem less than thrilled to be working there and I was greeted with a "Yeah?" when it was time to order. I'm not sure if ingredients are organic, locally sourced or conventional - I wish this was made clear to the customer. Many toppings look pretty sad and wilted, and it's also expensive for what you get. I hope Diced evolves and steps up their game so they're more similar to Chopt. read more

My daughter and I tried Diced after our kickboxing workout. It was late and I didn't feel like cooking dinner, and we wanted to eat healthy. We shared the Southwest Crunch salad and added chicken. It was great! We switched up the dressing and tried the Avocado Ranch, the food/veggies were fresh and the portion size was great - it's a big salad for one person. Noticed Diced a short while ago on my lunch break and decided to give it a try. I've gotten salads both times that I have visited and each time the food was delicious and so fresh. There are lots of options to create a salad if you don't want one of their signature selections. You can order online if you're pressed for time & the website is extremely user friendly. Their salads are also 100% worth what you pay for them...you get more than enough food for the money which isn't the case at most establishments. This was once an old pizza place and I really like what they've done remodel wise to make it a modern and hip place to go. Being this close to RTP there are a lot of millennial's that work in this area and when I went there for lunch it was crowded but it had a really good vibe. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick the only gripe that I had was there was not enough tables for the amount of people that were in the restaurant. In the S Spring and Summer time I don't really see that being an issue because they have lots of outdoor seating. I will go to this one when I am in the area but I will stick to my one close to home for my weekly lunches. read more

I've really enjoyed the West Cary location so far. The restaurant has been clean and my ingredients fresh the three times I've visited. There's a nice variety and more protein options than Panera - the next closest competitor for salads in the area. The only thing I would give 4/5 for is the price - you're likely to pay $2-3 more for a salad, but it's a local business. I think that's a fair trade. read more

We are excited to see a fresh salad restaurant in this location and hope to visit again. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is pleasant. The price is slightly high for a salad with a limit of 4 toppings (you pay extra for more). The bill was $51 for 4 people. But at 7 pm on a Saturday, the rice was dried out and crunchy, the shrimp was dry and tasted burnt, and some of the toppings could have looked fresher. They've only been open 3 weeks, so staff may just need some additional experience with the food handling. Nonetheless, the option to eat healthy is attractive, and the "stock" salad choices are creative, so we'll try it again! read more

This is probably the worst Diced location in the area. Pre-covid, they were fantastic. Definitely some slower days where it would take 10 minutes for your salad, but usually fast. Just went yesterday and had an awful experience. With two people ahead of us, it took 20 minutes from start to paying. The worst part is that our salads were done while the couple ahead of us was still waiting for their wraps to be done. We couldn't step ahead of them to pay. Because of this, we couldn't add in any toppings. For a $12 salad, you'd expect some faster service. The food is always good but it's the employees that always dictate the experience, and the group of teens working could've cared less. read more

I am a big fan of Cary's Parkside Town Commons. The shopping center has a diverse group of restaurants, including DICED . As much as I wanted to order "The Cobb" (my go-to salad), I was adventurous and ordered the "Triple Threat". Kale and artisan greens are mixed with grass-fed filet mignon, grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, shredded cheddar, fresh sliced jalapeños, cucumbers, and red & green peppers. All ingredients are diced and tossed in a savory Avocado Bacon Ranch. It was refreshing, delicious, and it had a generous amount of protein. I particularly like that diners have the option to build a salad, wrap, or grain bowl from any Diced menu item. For being a fast casual salad spot, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and trendy. In addition to that, it is always very clean and neat. Their staff is also always helpful and ready to recommend a salad or salad dressing. Even though this can be a very hectic shopping center, there's always parking. I would certainly visit the spot more often, except that I think it's a little on the pricey side for a salad. read more

Great food and service from all the staff except for Katie. This was the first time for my parents, and were trying to figure out how the sauce flavors. Katie was asking me what sauce I wanted, however, her tone was very condescending as my mother was accidentally blocking the sign on the glass mirror. I couldn't see a clear sign of sauces because my mother was unknowingly blocking the sign. She asserted "it's right in front of her" in a very passive aggressive tone. For future reference, Katie should be more prudent and thoughtful with the way she addresses customers because it seemed she was annoyed and did not want to be there. read more
