Great fresh chopped salad place but the pricing can be confusing at times. fast service and most of the ingredients are fresh while some of the items were canned fruits/vegetables. This is one of the healthier options inside the mall's food court. read more

This was my go to place for salads at the mall. I have not been a over a year and it has really changed. My salad was $12.96 and inedible. I asked for cheese, did not realize there is a .99 cents upgrade charge for a few sprinkles. I got the BLT with honey mustard. This dressing is now really vinegary, vs sweet and honey, and they smother it in the salad. Bacon was burnt and really salty, really awful. Lettuce and tomato were very fresh but were smothered in that terrible dressing. Get it on the side. I ate 1/3rd and tossed it. Never again. read more

I love a good salad, but hate the chopping and having to have all the items in my fridge. Crisp has become my favorite place to go for lunch when I'm too late to pack a meal in the morning. You can choose your own ingredients, or go with their recipes they have curated for you. Or, as I usually do, you can choose one of theirs and make edits to make your own riff on it. The materials are there for you to create your own best! read more

Having eaten at this chain in another state, I had high expectations. After changing management three times, I was anticipating an increase in customer service and food quality but my last experience left me hungry. I ordered a black and blue salad and was asked which dressing I would like. My salad was then smothered in dressing. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got back to my desk. It was virtually inedible. Do yourself a favor and order dressing on the side read more

I enjoy eating here even I'm at crabtree because this is a quick and healthy alternative to fast food. I normally get a salad but this time i tried the chicken Caesar wrap and man was it YUMMY. The service here is great and they have a huge selection to choose from. If you're ever in the food court and don't know what to get def five crisp a try! read more

The person making my salad left out ingredients and then got nasty with me when I told her she had left them out. Then she let someone cut in front of me. I asked her if she was going to finish making my salad, because she skipped me and then walked away, leaving me standing there waiting for someone to finish making my salad. She told her coworker I was a B***h. When she rang me up, I asked for the owner's information. She said she didn't speak English. I told her she spoke it when she took my order and called me a B***h. She was like, "oh...." then told me she didn't know the information. I left and sat down to eat. I turned around and she was at the register taking pictures of me and recording me with my children while we were eating. Her coworker looked embarrassed for her awful attitude and treatment of me. I've been eating at Crisp since it opened at the mall in 2006 or 2007 when I worked there. It hurt to be treated like this at a place I enjoyed eating at. I hope the person who made my salad learns how to treat people better and be fair and patient with customers. read more

Body language exhibits attitude. If you're not happy and you know it, please don't glare at your customers and throw darts at them with your eyes while exhaling an obvious sigh and your shoulders drop and hands go to the hips, head tilts to the side at the suggestion that they want something to eat at your restaurant. Stopped Sunday after church for a quick meal before heading off to the studio. The person who was there was by himself and appeared to be having a bad day as he was opening the place up for buisness. It was painfully obvious he was not a happy camper. The food (panini - club) was very good. My bride & I both agreed on that, and both of us commented that we'd eat there again. However, if we have to deal with the body language that says "I don't want to deal with you people" I wouldn't be so sure to revisit this location again after that. read more

I was surprised to find this gem in North Carolina. Amazing salads. My sister in law didn't care much for the Sante Fe (She thought it was mild and bland, not at all spicy), but I loved the Mediterranean and the price of $6 was well worth it. read more

I eat here often if I just want a quick meal while doing some shopping. I have always had great service and salads here, but tonight I had probably one of the best prepared salads. I want to recognize the young man who made my food tonight, (wearing an NC State shirt) he really took his time and just made an awesome salad for me, and a perfect steak wrap for my husband. Thank you!! read more

First! Happy to be first for Crisp! This place is one of the biggest surprises of my life and a little upsetting all at the same time and here's why. So in for Christmas from California, my girlfriend and I went to Crabtree Valley Mall with my brother to finish up some last moment Christmas Shopping. Once we were decidedly hungry, we headed to the food court to find some grub and it. was. packed! Every vendor in the food court had a line that was wrapping around the large hall, intermixing and fusing into each other... every line except Crisp. Crisp was empty, niet, not a single soul save the workers and so for time and health sakes we walked up to the counter. My girlfriend made a remark about how sad it was that the only place in the whole food court not offering fried food was completely sans patronage and afterwards I had to agree. This was the upsetting part. They feature in hand-tossed salads and wraps, half and full sizes, and fresh ingredients that really are quite "crisp". Signature salads and signature wraps with the ability to build your own from a very liberal selection of items. We ordered the Black-and-Blue Salad because I love Black-and-Blue salads and one full was enough to feed two, very hungry shoppers. The steak was surprisingly good and the quality of the lettuce and vegetables was shockingly fantastic! I have easily paid upwards of $13 for the same salad of lesser quality at "finer" establishments. Crisp, I don't know if you franchise, but if you don't you really need to consider making it out West. Your health-conscious business model and high-quality ingredients would thrive in the food courts of California, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado and Washington. Kudos to you Crisp! For mall court food providers you are hegemonically and undeniably at the top of my list! read more

I've been wondering if this was from the same chain as the Crisp in Charlotte but I don't believe it is. I'm always looking for a place to grab a salad fast and I've found very few places here in Raleigh besides heading to my local Harris Teeter or Whole Foods. My oh my how I wish someone would open a Crisp outside of the mall. For a healthy lunch or dinner option you can't beat it. You can order one of their salads on the menu or make your own. They will chop it all up and put it in a little plastic bowl for you to go. There are all kinds of amazing fresh options that I love. I know it's just a fast food joint in the mall but I wish they would open another stand alone location and cook the protein on your salad fresh like the one in Charlotte. They have other healthy menu options as well including wraps and soups. For under $10 you can munch on something other then a burger, sub, or pizza at the mall which is great. Not sure I would make the trek through the mall again just for a salad but if I'm at the mall this will definitely be my go to place for fast food. read more

This one dude at this location is always encouraging people to come and get a salad... Maybe that's his way of telling me I'm fat... I'm j/k. But I had a salad, cuz I needed something quick and healthy and Chicken Caesar is GOOD! The wrap is equally good. I mean it's the same thing, just in a flavorful tortilla. I like that's it's made fast and they don't charge if I want a little more dressing or chicken. I like that a lot of people aren't hip to this place. It's kinda crazy that Chic Fil A, and Moe's have long lines, but this place doesn't. I mean I'm not knocking the other places, cuz I like them both, but you really can't beat this joint. I'm just sayin... read more

I love these types of places where they mix everything together and chop everything up for the salads but compared to others, crisp comes up short. For $10 I expect there to be a lot of each ingredient. I ordered the Waldorf salad and wished there was more dressing and apples mixed in. I was still hungry afterwards. It was a gigantic salad but it was mostly lettuce! The good news is...the calorie count was probably really low! :-) read more

Went here for lunch with a co-worker. We were wanting something on the healthier side so we decided to check out Crisp..after all it's a salad place. I went with the Santa Fe salad and she kind of created her own since she's a vegetarian. Neither of us were too impressed with the quality of the food. It was misleading a bit. Yes, Crisp is a salad place but it was far from healthy and not particularly fresh. My chicken was OK but didn't taste fresh, it was probably a day or more old and the lettuce wasn't the best selection either. I had a lot of yellow pieces of romaine. I asked them to throw in some mixed greens so I felt like I was getting a more nutritious lunch. Overall the taste was alright but I didn't feel like I was really getting a lunch worth $8. Bottom line kind of pricey and not that healthy. The customer service however was wonderful! read more

The chicken mozzarella panini was great! Its great to see healthy options in the mall. The staff was very friendly as well.

Delicious! I was expecting sad mall food, but it was really fresh and simple. I had the buffalo chicken wrap, and it tasted great. I wish they would come up with more side items, though, because after a delicious wrap, my Baked Lays didn't seem so exciting. read more

I think this place is pretty good for a mall food court. I live around the corner, so I've been here several times. The salads are good. The staff are friendly, and the prices are okay. I can't speak to anything other than the salads, but I'm happy to go here for a quick big salad. read more

Totally unimpressed. Don't think the salad I ordered was worth it at all. I doubt they'll stay in business.8

Am I the only one who has a hard time deciding where to eat at the mall food court? I highly doubt it. There are so many options... do I want Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Southwestern, Mediterranean, maybe just a smoothie? The food court at Crabtree Valley really seems to have anything you might be craving, but I find it hard to believe that Crisp wouldn't be a good lunch option no matter what your little taste buds desire! (And big thanks to Yelp, of course, for allowing me to notice this place!) I have no idea what the calorie counts are for their food, but everything tastes very fresh and healthy. The first time I came I ordered the chicken greek wrap and it was delicious. I didn't leave a trace of it even though I was full. The second time I went I was more in the mood for a salad, so I ordered the Niçoise. This salad includes a perfect blend of tuna salad, chic peas, feta cheese, kalamata olives, and artichoke hearts. This is a little bit different from a typical Niçoise you would order in, say, Paris, but it's very good nonetheless and lighter. I would suggest ordering the small size, even though it doesn't look that big, because the salads here are filling. Back home in Cali I used to always stop by Subway for a quick bite to eat for lunch... now I stop by Crisp regardless of whether I'm already at the mall or not because I love it so much! Thank you Yelp! read more

I was in Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, NC today around 4:15 pm. I witnessed a foreign employee or owner or manager tell a black young lady to say please. She wanted to use her employee discount. He was very rude. So she advised him that she would just buy it without the discount. He told her NO. So he threw it away. She then asked for corporate's telephone number & he refused to give it to her. She went to another business to purchase food. He taunted her and called her back over to Crisp to tell her he'd go to her job (she had on her work shirt) and say something and act up etc. I was shocked. I wanted to eat there but after that, I refuse to spend my money there. I didn't hear him tell any other paying customer to say PLEASE. It was a simple 5 or 10% discount. I felt he was racist. I plan on reporting him to the mall as well. He went to the back, like he was hiding then. I asked for his name. The employee acted as if he didn't know it. He said, "MJ or something." Then he said it was hard to pronounce. Whoever the older man was in the dark grey shirt is, he's very immature & unprofessional regardless of him being an owner or manager. read more

I'm so confused how this place has rave reviews. Ordered a turkey club wrap and boyfriend got the black and blue salad. $19 and change for spinach that had turned brown with ground beef on top and a warmed up tortilla with soggy meat inside. You know the old school salad bar toppings at Ruby Tuesday with the little rectangles of chopped turkey and ham? That's the texture and consistency of the 'turkey' on my wrap. We each took a bite of our food and immediately dumped our tray in the garbage. I'd been looking forward to trying out the "great salad place in the food court". We still have yet to find this great place - Crisp surely is not it. read more

I love their BBQ chicken salad - when I can get it. If my review were just based on that, it would be 5 stars. Last time I went on a Saturday night around 7:45-7:50 (supposedly open until 8 pm), and the employees told me they were closed. Tonight I made sure to get there earlier - but as I walked up at 7:35, the girl turned out the lights and told me they were closed. All the other places in the food court were open and serving customers, but not them. Repeatedly disappointing customers by turning them away within your posted business hours isn't a great business model. I'm not sure I'll be going back. I certainly won't make a special trip there to buy food anymore. read more

The guys at Crisp are great and the food is awesome! Try the waldorf chicken salad. I get it with goat cheese instead of blue cheese.

Salad was so good and fresh! Will definitely be back! You watch what is going in, chopped and mixed. Yummy!

Very nice staff, they were very patient with my complex custom order wrap. Very clean atmosphere, and they made my order faster than moe's would have. The wrap was very tasty, and full of flavor! MUST try if you are in the area. read more

Love this place! It's my go to whenever I'm at the mall. It's a great place for healthy food and they have a huge menu to choose from. I personally love their wraps, but have also tried their salads. Their staff is really friendly and helpful. Definitely give it a try! read more

Pros: this place is fairly quick and inexpensive. Cons: the salad is composed predominantly of ice burg lettuce which is a waste-if I'm eating a salad I want dark leafy greens. The overall freshness of the ingredients is expired yesterday. read more

Great fresh salads!! Best part? They chop it up in perfect bite sizes!!

A fresh alternative at the mall. The service was great, and the food was even better! The citrus vinaigrette dressing is yummy.

I just had the most fresh and nicely chopped salad! I had a create your own, Spinach, egg, bacon ,peppers, onion, garbanzo beans, pine nuts and light balsamic vinaigrette. It was tasty, not over dressed and I really enjoyed it. Quick lunch option if you don't count the mall parking situation. A hearty salad for under 10 bucks! Happy girl! read more

Sadly It's happening! the people who used to prepare salads and wraps, whom very carefully and timely made sure your portion and food was decent, are gone. They spoke Spanish and were alert and ready with amazing customer service. Today, I got my wraps to find out that there was hardly any chicken in them. I told the owner about it. It's not about coming back with another set of wraps prepared as they used to. But either talking to the new guy about it or train some else better. I wonder how many people get hired that do not care about the business, the owners and their families who gave them the job. read more

I enjoyed an awesome Mediterranean salad and a veggie wrap. Very delicious and fresh. I would eat here again "fo sho".

Its just like any deli with multiple options of sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups. The place is extremely busy during lunch as it should be as the menu is perfect for lunch. If you are trying to make healthy choices for lunch you should drop by. My basil pesto panini was good but nothing to write home about. Liked the service and speed in which the food arrived. read more

I like this place a lot . It has a great menu and lots to try. One of my favorites is their greek wrap with Kalamata olives, this hits the spot. Crisp is my favorite spot to grab lunch at the Crabtree Mall food court. I usually order the chef salad with honey mustard dressing. My lunches have always been excellent.
