b.e.c sandwich

i've been to many first watch locations and this location is just as good as the ones in the past! we came in and were greeted by friendly hosts. we were seated quickly despite it being busy. we ordered the pineapple express and mint chocolate ice coffee which was a great start to the meal. i ordered the smoked salmon frittata and it was pretty good! i wished the smoked salmon was put on top of the frittata and not cooked within. just a preference. we split the avocado toast which was great. fresh and light. and we also ordered the b.e.c. sandwich which was a lot bigger than we thought! overall, delicious meal and friendly staff with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. would come again in the future.

I love the fresh delicious food at First Watch. I've been to one in several states now. Luckily this one was right near my hotel. The service was good. The place was very spacious and clean with nice decor. I got the veggie juice which tasted so good and healthy. Also got the smoked salmon frittata which was delicious. Prices were very reasonable considering the tasty healthy food.

First Watch is a trendy little sit down breakfast place ideal for a weekend brunch with some friends. I would suggest getting to First Watch early or being prepared for a short wait, this place is a popular weekend spot for breakfast or brunch. The staff is super friendly and abundant so the service is excellent. The menu has some rotating options as well as staples such as the million dollar bacon or million dollar potatos. I had the "Works Omlette" and the "Million dollar bloody mary" The omlette was nice and fluffy, filled with vegetables and meats topped with a dollep of sour cream. I washed it down with a nice yet rather plain bloody Mary. Plain as in the only garnish was the million dollar bacon. I would have enjoyed some standard bloody Mary garnish as well. All in all First watch is a good option for a weekend brunch with some friends with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and quality brunch options.

Brussel sprout potato hash from the fall menu

YUM! Had the brussel sprout potato hash for brunch and it was delicious! Brussel sprouts, potatoes, variety of shredded cheese, onion, topped with 2 eggs, lemon-dressed arugula, and a chili oil. I was so happy with my choice! Our waitress was awesome. My dish was actually made with no brussel sprouts at first and, upon asking, she quickly had the kitchen remake the proper dish and let me keep the current one. So despite getting the wrong order at first, she handled it professionally and very quickly! The restaurant was a little loud but our group of 6 was sat rather quickly on a Saturday morning. Will definitely come back!!

This First Watch is just like any other First Watch, but the service was exceptional and the food was great. The French toast was cooked just right it wasn't soggy. It was nice and fresh and warm and fluffy. Like a true French toast. The million dollar bacon was good, but it wasn't as great as I've had it before at other first watch.. The space was bright, open and airy.

This is our second time at a First Watch in NC because the previous visit was not great there was a long pause. However our time here today was the polar opposite of the last. We came with our friends taking us to the airport for our flight out to vacation. The inside is a mix of country and clean industrial decor. Our server was very nice and we were well attended to for breakfast. I chose cinnamon chip pancakes with two eggs and two slices of bacon for $12.95. The cinnamon chips are like chocolate chips but with a cinnamon flavor. The meal was good and reasonably priced with good coffee to drink with it.

Delicious breakfast place. Wonderful service too. I ordered the Tri-Fecta with two over easy eggs, chicken patty sausage and I got the banana nut pancake which blew my mind because the banana was actually cooked into the pancake...just wonderful. Syrup was legit too. The decor was rustic farm but not overdone. Really nice. Definitely coming back.

We had the lemon ricotta pancakes, Pumpkin Spice Donuts, and smoked salmon Benedict with the Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk!

The service was amazing Our server, JJ was prompt, funny and professional. He helped to make our experience great. I only wish I didn't have to travel to North Carolina to have brunch here.

The fam and I took a post-Thanksgiving vacay to North Carolina and First Watch was one of our favorites stops! We popped in for brunch on a rainy Saturday morning and I was blown away by the adorableness of this spot. Even though we had a big group of 6, we were seated quickly and the drinks and food came fast. My daughter and I shared their special of the day, which was a green chili pork dish with eggs. We also got a side of their legendary bacon (which is apparently THE thing to order here). My only regret is we didn't have time to come back - their entire menu looked amazing and so did their cocktail and mimosa options. I would not hesitate to stop here again if I'm ever back in the area.

I really enjoyed my experience at this First Watch location! The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely. I came here for breakfast on a Friday morning and honestly was surprised by how busy it was! There weren't very many open tables and I was pleased that we were able to be seated right away. Our server was friendly and the service was sufficient but she was difficult to get ahold of for the check. Not a huge deal though! As I said - they were busy the morning we were there. For breakfast, I decided on the tri-athlete. It was very yummy! House-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and green chiles in a cage-free egg white omelet. It was served with housemade pico de gallo, whole grain artisan toast, all-natural house preserves and fresh fruit. The finished every last scrap on the plate! I also opted to try the holey donuts which were seasonal at that time and were apple spiced flavor. They were served with a cream cheese style dip and a caramel dip. The donut holes alone would have earned a 5-star review!

Steak and Eggs Hash

I dined in this location of First Watch on Sunday, December 22, 2024. I've dined at First Watch restaurants in a few locations across the country, and always on a Sunday morning. This was the first time I did not have to wait thirty minutes or more for a table. I was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. I tried something different from my usual. I had the DELICIOUS Steak and Eggs Hash. This consisted of seared steak, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms and onions, Mozzarella and fresh spinach in a potato hash. Topped with two cage-free eggs any style (my eggs were fried medium), Parmesan cream sauce and fresh herbs. Served with Parmesan-crusted ciabatta.

This place offers traditional breakfast but also brunch options with lots of healthy options ! Food sizes are on the smaller side but you can tell it's fresh. We've been multiple times and even had one occurrence where the eggs were significantly undercooked but as soon as we let them know they took the food back and fixed it which was great!

Treated myself to brunch on my day off of work and randomly ended up in the Brier Creek area. I hate that I don't recall my servers name, but she was great! She had a pleasant, upbeat personality and seemed to really enjoy her job. I opted to try a meal off of the summer menu and glad that I did! I got the carnitas breakfast tostadas-they were delicious, flavorful and would definitely order it again. I also had an amazing beverage called a Pomegranate Sunrise. The drink was good as well! It was a nice space with both indoor and outside seating, the staff seemed to take pride in their work and worked well as a team in keeping the space clean.

Thanks to the trusty search feature on yelp, I stumbled across Spicy Green Gourmet. I was very…read morehappy to see such an extensive menu, although with so many choices, it was hard for me to choose. I love a good bahn mi, so I decided on that sandwich. And just like the true southerner I am, I chose the potato salad as my side. I work close by, so I called ahead & was told 20 minutes. When I arrived in 10 minutes, my order was waiting on me. However, because it was lunch time, there was a line, sadly one I had to wait it. Thankfully, I only waited about five minutes & was able to pay & be on my way. The restaurant is cheery & employees seemed happy to be there. The place was hopping, so that was a good sign this place serves up tasty goodness. I returned to work & ate my sandwich & potato salad. The potato salad had red potatoes in it, with the skin still on - not what I'm used to, but still ok. It tasted mustard & mayo based, which I love those two together. The bahn mi was quite delicious with a simple slaw, pork, cucumbers, & Asian dressing. The pork was tender & spicy. The baguette was decent. For the portion size, the price of $8.61 was fine with me. With such variety on the menu, I'll definitely be back. Parking wasn't much of an issue, even though there are many businesses/restaurants in this area.

Located in a shopping complex at the corner of Miami Blvd and TW Alexander is Spicy Green Gourmet…read more Initially, it's the restaurant name that peaked my interest. This is a typical RTP lunch spot that will be super busy during prime lunch hours. Luckily parking is plentiful in this complex. You walk in and find bright green walls and the line to order is to your left. The menu is just a paper menu and it is a sandwiches, wraps and salads type of fare. I went for the Chicken Philly Sub with a soda of chips and a drink, which comes out close to $12. The sub itself failed to impress as it just had strips of grilled chicken on it and it lacked flavor. Moreover, it was really just a half sub so the size given the price was disappointing. They do have a hot sauce station like Firehouse Subs, so I used that to jazz up my meal. The restaurant was clean, but the staff didn't really speak much when interacting at the register or when bringing the food to your table. In fact when ordering I was the only person in line and waited a few mins for someone to take my order. When I asked to add jalapenos, still no words uttered, just a push of a button and a blank look on the employee's face. Regardless, I will give this place another chance as other menu items did look appealing. Perhaps just an off day...I hope.

I couldn't find a Yelp profile for the cafe, alone, and that's a shame because this place was very good. So I added them. :) FOOD: Honey mustard glazed salmon with rice pilaf and broccoli; Sirloin steak with red skinned mashed potatoes and broccoli. Both served with an incredible piece of char-grilled sourdough bread with butter. Honestly though...this steak could compete with Outback's sirloin and may even be a little better. I asked for medium-rare and it was delivered a perfect medium rare. It was easy to cut, tender, juicy and flavorful. It may lack the seasonings of an Outback sirloin, but it was a wonderful cut of beef. The potatoes and broccoli were both on point and my plate was left empty. My wife devoured her salmon with just the right amount of semi-pink on the inside. There was nothing left on her plate or our son's who also ordered the sirloin. I'm impressed with the wonderful execution of preparing these meals....especially for a Holiday Inn brand hotel. SCORE: 4.5 STARS!! SERVICE: James was on his game and did so with a pleasant, outgoing personality. Our drinks and meals were delivered promptly and he was managing the bar with thirsty patrons the entire time. I think the buffalo sauce and Cole slaw saved it because the chicken didn't have much of a taste either. I ordered fries originally but they delivered potatoes to me. The server that delivered the food quickly put in an order for fries to fix the first servers error and I'm glad he did. The fries saved the meal. They were cooked perfectly and hot. I'd come back here for the fries for sure. After we got our food, the servers just forgot about us and another customer that had been there for about the same amount of time that we had. We were in the restaurant another 15 minutes trying to get the attention of a server to come give us our check. The original server never came back even though we could see him at a register near the kitchen.
