The French toast was delicious. Service was quick and attentive. I loved that the restaurant was not super busy or loud. Great place to grab breakfast.

Great breakfast spot. All the food was fresh and done really well. We sat at the bar, and it's a big beautiful place with lots of windows. They have these big garage windows that open up to go outside. I would go to this spot again!

It's always a good visit to First Watch. Servers are always friendly and quick. The food is always fresh and leave no complaints. I got the shrimp and grits and was very pleased. It may be seasonal so get it while you can. I always have my kale morning drink it's yummy. My guy had a turkey wrap and was a little disappointed when it was not like lunch meat so that was mid to him. They stay busy but other than that crush everything runs so smoothly. We always get reservations and there is a wait but the atmosphere relaxed so it's never an issue.

The downtown First Watch is fairly easy to get into on a week day. The best thing about it was we were given an entire carafe of delicious coffee! Our server was lovely and did an efficient job. My husband had the classic Benedict. I had the Bacado omelet which was bacon, avocado and Monterey Jack cheese. Something I loved is that you can actually get a healthy side with fruit. Most brunch places just seem to be over the top with fried potatoes! The ambiance is a typical fast casual breakfast spot. You pay for your meal at the cash register at the front door.

Walked into this location during brunch hours on a Saturday! Surprisingly, parking was not a headache and there was not a wait. The special was shrimp & grits & the Hawaiian French toast. My husband gave the French toast an 8/10 - he had them take off the coconut whipped cream, but later tried it on the side and said it was cool. The shrimp and grits were decent, 7/10 but I prob would not order again since it lacked flavor. Potatoes were good as usual! Tried the pomegranate sunrise & it was delicious & fruity, the kale tonic was good as always too. Location was clean and our server was attentive. Spot was clean and not too busy just how I like! It tends to be a bit chilly inside of their locations so bring something to cover your arms.

Great service, friendly staff, fast delivery. French toast was as good as I've ever had. Fluffy and sweet, definitely recommend. The sausage was also a good choice. Juicy and not overcooked. The grits were OK, they tasted a bit bland, would probably get homefries/hashbrowns next time.

Food was amazing we got seated pretty quickly and everyone was nice. I usually get the trifecta very good.

My boyfriend and I had a few errands to run in Raleigh on Sunday, so we decided to give First Watch a try. I had the Chickichanga and my boyfriend had the Tri-fecta. Everything along with the coffee and service was just ok. I don't think we would go out of our way to return.

We went to this location of First Watch for their friends & family soft opening event and it was so fun! They were training up their staff, so our meals were free and we left gratuity and donated to Make A Wish in lieu of a bill. The wait staff was as friendly as can be. I ordered the market hash with poached eggs which was delicious and came with fresh fruit. Everyone else loved their meals (pictured). We got the million dollar bacon which was good, but probably a skip for me as i can likely make it at home. My friend gets the farm stand tacos every time she goes to First Watch and claims they are the best thing ever!!!! Overall a great location (they validate parking for the deck next door)!

Theresa Dickerson Mar 1, 2023, 11:56 AM EST I'd give them 10 stars if they were available. Our dinning experience was absolutely amazing! We were greeted at the door by the General Manager, John Harris who showed us to our table. Everything was spotless and the team of employees were all smiles and eager to assist. Our beverages came lightning fast and our food was picture perfect. Everything tasted amazing and I'm so glad there is still great service and food to be had in Raleigh. My family and I will most definitely be back!

Another great place that it's going down because it's so bad managed. Last week food wasn't fresh; the previous one servers are asking for reviews for 2$ when they say 4$; they don't do 6 people tables outside anymore because they don't care; they are understaffed because servers are not treated well.... And the manager is disrespectful to everyone in the line and servers. If you like First Watch as I used to, go to the other location near Trader's Joes, way better.

Great food, excellent service! You can check in early online so you don't have to wait which is great. I had the avocado toast, sausage, and a biscuit and all were very tasty. Our server Olivia was super attentive and friendly making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

It's been an interesting journey--because while I absolutely respect the tradition, my palate has definitely evolved over the years toward lighter, more elevated, visually beautiful food. That said, sometimes you just have to lean in and experience the classics. Tupelo Honey had been on my list for a while, so during a recent work trip to Raleigh-Durham, I decided to check it off. The location is in a very nice, upscale area--one of those shopping districts where, if you see a Whole Foods nearby, you know the neighborhood is going to be polished, safe, and easy to navigate. Parking was simple in a lot across the street, and since I had a reservation, I was seated quickly on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable. For starters, I ordered the "biscuits for a cause," which is a nice touch knowing the proceeds support employee relief and development funds. They were warm and classic Southern biscuits--exactly what you'd expect. For my entrée, I went with the honey-dusted fried chicken (dark meat), a true Southern staple. It was well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something hearty and traditional. I also tried a cocktail called "The Debutante," which was pleasant and refreshing, and finished the meal with the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert. Overall, the meal was good--solid, reliable Southern comfort food--but if I'm being completely honest, it wasn't particularly memorable for me. I was traveling for work and dining on a per diem, so it checked the box for a dependable dinner in a convenient location. As a larger regional chain, it feels a bit like a rite of passage when you're spending time in the Southeast--something you try once to understand the landscape. Bottom line: Tupelo Honey delivers classic Southern comfort food in a polished, accessible setting. Service was smooth, the patio was pleasant, and everything was executed well. For me personally, it was a good experience--but not one I'd necessarily go out of my way to repeat. Still, as I continue eating my way through the Carolinas and beyond, I'm glad I gave it a try.

The place was crowded but there was no wait. I got seated immediately at a table near a column in the middle of the restaurant and Christy came over and asked if I wanted anything to drink. She brought me iced water and gave me time to look at the menu. I wanted to try so many things and I was too optimistic about ordering 3 things and finishing them myself. Good thing I only ordered 2 things! An order of fried catfish with home fries and one egg. And a biscuit with sausage gravy. The fried catfish was salted and well fried. It tasted delicious for my first bite! The home fries were basically cut potatoes, but they weren't very fried or flavored. I wished I ordered the side of apple sauce instead. The biscuit and sausage was good, but a bit too much for one person after eating a separate order already. Definitely bring more people so you can try more things. Also, I wished I had asked for sausage gravy on the side so I can try the biscuit on its own first as well. Furthermore, I would have more time to eat the catfish so I wasn't worried about the biscuit getting soggy. Christy came to check up on me every now and then. The place was buzzing with people and decorations so I didn't feel so alone. When it was time to pay, Christy brought me the check for me to pay at the cash register. Both Christy and the cashier were so friendly! The restaurant does have a women's and a mens restroom if needed.
