Came for breakfast around 9:30am Saturday and there was no wait! The host was welcoming and our server was magnificent. The atmosphere is very relaxed and noise levels are loud so fyi if you're sensitive to that! I ordered a honey caramel crunch iced coffee that was fun but too sweet for my palate. I also ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. I was sad because this dish didn't hit the mark for me. The salmon did not taste fresh and the toast it was on was a bit heavy for me. I had a good time with my girlfriends though! I ordered the Monterey club to go for my husband and he said it was delicious - I didn't get a chance to try. We saw this restaurant while driving, and recognized it from a visit to Mt. Pleasant, SC. That was when we decided we had to come for breakfast the following morning. Cameron was our server, and she was patient as we looked over the menu. The coffee is a large cup, 1 was enough for me! I had 1 ricotta and lemon pancake with lemon curd and berries. My husband had the Floridian French toast. It was covered with fruit! Everything was so fresh looking and tasting. The place was bustling - as soon as a table was cleared and cleaned, someone else was seated. They do serve lunch as well. You can't miss with First Watch. I went on a Sunday morning, fortunately before the Sunday morning crowds got there. I was immediately greeted and seated. I ordered "The Traditional" and substituted grits for the seasoned potatoes. Food was brought with a minimal wait. Whole grain artisan toast was a nice change than the toast most restaurants offer, and the house preserves were delicious. The food is consistently great, and the staff is usually very friendly with excellent customer service. Our office orders breakfast weekly from the Six Forks Road location; however, over the past three orders, items have been left off our order each time. Today, I called the store and asked to speak with the store manager regarding these recurring issues. Unfortunately, the interaction was disappointing. The manager had a very nonchalant attitude and stated, "You only get utensils if you request them," and "I don't have your order in front of me, so I don't know what to tell you." Given how often we order and how much we have enjoyed the food in the past, this response was unexpected and concerning. Customer service appears to have significantly declined, and I hope this feedback helps address both the order accuracy issues and the manner in which customer concerns are handled. read more

The food was subpar. The banana was hard, and the chorizo omelette my partner ordered had barely a scoop of chorizo on it. Apart from the food being semi-good, the service was pretty bad. To begin with, we checked in thru the app 30 minutes prior to arriving and still had to wait another 30 minutes. When we went inside to ask about our table, the host with the man bun had sat a 2 top walk in immediately, and didn't offer our 3 top party the same option of inside or outside for seating. We ended up having to wait. After being sat, our server offered a friendly smile, but didn't really attend to us, and our food was way past a 25 minute ticket time. First time I've ever visited this place and it was before heading to an airport for my flight home. I had the "Bacado" Omelette with the potatoes and toast. It was AMAZING!!! The bacon was so tasty and the avocado was fresh. I ordered almost the moment that I was seated and the food arrived quickly and piping hot! It was so good! My server Shakera was phenomenal and made sure I had everything I needed as well as very kind wishes for safe travels! We decided to give this a try on a Saturday morning during Dreamville Festival weekend. The wait was only 15 minutes which was impressive. They have outdoor seating and the restaurant has a very nice open feel. We ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with strawberries and the Smoked Salmon Benedict. I honestly don't know how all this could be cooked with no taste whatsoever. Alexus, our server, was very sweet and helpfu as the choices were endless, and we ultimately settled Avocado toast, the Works, the AM Superfoods Chia Bowl with almond butter artisan toast, egg Benedict, and the salmon frittata with grilled vegetables. When we first started coming to First Watch, I was obsessed with the biscuit and gravy, eggs and seasoned potatoes BUT I tried the pancakes and listen! - they are soooo bomb!!* The chocolate chip multigrain pancakes are a game changer. The seasonal pancakes are typically very good as well (pumpkin pancakes were Superb). The purple haze and kale tonic drinks are really refreshing as well. Additionally, I've had the French toast, the omelets and the breakfast tacos and they were all great. Was not a big fan of the Turkey sausage - it looked a bit undercooked so I didn't try it. My friend and I stopped in for brunch at the end of July. I love Eggs Benedict but what they served sure wasn't it. it is very had to ruin such a simple dish. First, the ham was shaved like lunchmeat, the sauce tasted nothing like Hollandaise sauce. It was HORRIBLE. i had 2 bites and pushed the plate away. If the server had ever checked on us, I would have told her. However, when she brought the check, she then asked how everything was. I told her it was horrible and she asked if I would like something else. Little late, I would say. I am a 20% tipper, so she lost $15. I do find when I mention that restaurant to locals here in Raleigh, I get the same response: horrible. would never go back. I guess live and learn. The food is much better at Harris Teeter buffet. First time trying this new location. Tip: I always recommend sitting outside at any First Watch due to the cacophony of noise unless they don't happen to have more than two other tables. Something to do with their interiors. Unfortunately this location installed outdoor speakers which annoyed us with overly loud music to go along with Six Forks traffic right next to the tables. The tables were dirty from traffic soot which came off on our napkins, and we had to set up our own umbrella. Food was good; we had a market veg sandwich and avocado toast with potatoes with coffees and their assortment of creamers. First Watch has started to give a bizarrely inadequate amount of ketchup possibly to save costs and it's a pain to get more. We were also never brought our lemon for our water. I'm very pumped about First Watch opening close to my house. Finally got to stop by for brunch and it's fantastic. Big open restaurant with a view into the kitchen, with ample parking around. They have breakfast, brunch, and lunch foods and everything around me looked great. I love going places like this on weekends. I got the Bananas Foster French Toast, one of the seasonal specials. Wife got the BLT and both were great. The side salad was lackluster but otherwise everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back and try other items! The hash looked especially good.
