We ordered our sandwiches; I had an Italian sub, and it was just ok, kind of dry and lacking in flavor; frankly, Jersey Mike's makes a better Italian. But my wife got theReubenn, and it was simply the best Reuben we've had outside of Katz in NYC. I order Rueben's all the time, and I'm consistently disappointed. Most are dried out, have too little meat, and the corned beef is often dry, but not in this case. The sandwich was truly worthy, and we are ready to go back and have it again. Moist, flavorful meat, a generous portion, and the dressing andkraut weres well balanced. The bread was grilled, not toasted, and was itself rich and flavorful. Altogether, it is a Reuben worth driving a distance to have it. We are already planning to come back and try some of the baked goods, but also get the Reuben again too.

The crabcakes 3.5/5 Over all these crabcakes are pretty good also not the best that I've had but good enough. I wish I was a little bit more crab than less filling, but an average decent crab cake. Another year, another birthday breakfast. This time it was my wife's birthday, and conveniently, I had a BOGO offer from First Watch sitting in my inbox. So, off we went earlier this week. I've been here a few times before, and this time I made one thing very clear to myself. No Benedict. I've just never had much luck with them here. The eggs have usually been way too runny for my liking, and yes, I know I can send them back. But then everyone else is eating, I'm sitting there waiting, getting hangry, and nobody needs that kind of energy at breakfast. So I played it safe and went with **The Works Omelet**, loaded with ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Being honest, it was... okay. Nothing was necessarily wrong with it, but nothing really stood out either. It was a pretty standard omelet experience. Sometimes basic is good. This time it was just basic. The potatoes on the side were probably the bigger disappointment. They definitely didn't seem particularly hot or fresh and were a little dry. My wife, the birthday girl, went with the **Power Wrap**, with egg whites, turkey, spinach, mushrooms and mozzarella. Presentation wasn't anything fancy, but hers came out fresh, hot and steaming, and she seemed happy with it. So that was a win. As for everything else, parking was easy, the staff was friendly, and we ended up sitting outside because the dining room was super cold. The BOGO definitely helped make the visit feel worthwhile. Without it, First Watch can get a little pricey for breakfast, especially when the food itself lands more in the "pretty good" category than the "can't wait to come back" category. All in all, a perfectly fine birthday breakfast outing. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing. Friendly service, easy parking, and most importantly, the birthday girl enjoyed her meal. Just my .02. read more
