    Lobster ravioli
    Blaine B.

As soon as I walked into Fachini, I was obsessed with the vibes of this place. It was perfect spot for a fun night out. They started us off with complimentary bread and whipped ricotta which was amazing! For an appetizer, we tried the lobster ravioli which is absolutely a must-order. The flavors were incredible and definitely one of the highlights. For our mains, the linguine vongole was a bit on the bland side, and the fettuccine al ragu bolognese could have used more sauce, the meat was a little dry. The special of the night, stuffed tortellini with mashed meatballs, was easily the star of the table. The Chicken Al Limone had a delicious crust and great flavor as well. Even with a couple of dishes that missed the mark for me, the overall food and service were great. I'd love to come back to try more of the menu, definitely looking forward to my next visit!

Excellent selection of pastas, drinks and relatively easy parking during weekdays in HP. The lobster ravioli was flavorful and filling. Highly recommend. The quality of the pasta was superior to many other Italian restaurants we have tried, including pasta in other major cities. The complimentary bread is outstanding. The service was amazing in the bar area and we were checked on frequently and appreciated not having to remind the server to fill up the waters and as we often do in many restaurants.

Service was great! Loved the focaccia and little bites they bring out before your meal, so delicious!!

I've been wanting to try this place for years and it did not disappoint! The ambiance the service and the food were all top teir! It was the week before Christmas so parking was sparse, however valet made it super easy. I got a special which was abosolutley delicious. Complementary bread was brought to the table (multiple times upon request) it was warm soft and melts in your mouth. The accompanying whipped ricotta was equally delicious. I cannot wait to return!

Had lunch today at Fachini. It's a small restaurant accessed on the street beside Ralph Lauren and up a flight of stairs. I would agree overall with most of the posted reviews. It's a nice quaint space. Overall service was great. I had the 50 layer lunch lasagna and my wife had the snapper. Both were good. It was a nice lunch, I'd come back again and try some other dishes.

This place is worth the hype. All of our food was delicious & even the bread service was better than most. Great service too, we got to sit outside on the balcony & it was magical with the lights of HPV.

Fachini is an Italian restaurant located in Highland Park Village in Dallas. Atmosphere: A long walk up a red carpeted set of stairs (or there is an elevator) sets the stage for a fine dining experience. White table clothes and waiters in suits is the norm. 1 Star Service: One of my favorite things is the fact that the service is not only polite, but it is not pretentious like you would get in some other "ritzy" restaurants. The waiters are also attentive without being overbearing. They give you time to look at the menu and decide and only come to the table when they see you need something. They seem to read the table very well. 2 Stars Food: Fantastic Italian fair with bright sauces and some classic appetizers. We started with the Calamari which was delightfully crisp and hot out of the fryer. Nice accompanying condiments of a chunky marinara and tartar sauce. For entrees we each decided to get a different pasta and share. The portions are gratuitous and make for easy leftovers or just for snagging a bite from your table mates when they aren't paying attention. We ordered the Cappelletti Bolognese, the Lobster Ravioli, and the Rigatoni alla Vodka. As stated before, the sauces for each were delectable. The surprise for me was the classic tomato based sauce for the Lobster Ravioli. Almost always, Lobster Ravioli comes with a cream based sauce from my experience, and this was a wonderful revelation that I am all for. The Vodka sauce wasn't overly strong and had just that right amount of "oomph" to it. It was paired with a perfect pasta to help capture it. And finally the Capelletti, stuffed with savory meat and covered with a deep red bolognese sauce, was also delicious. 2 Stars Overall: What a great lunch, and it's easy to see why this is a goto spot for fine Italian food. It's inconceivable to me how you could continue shopping in The Village after filling up with this aptly portioned "abbondanza" of pasta, because for me it was a great lead into an afternoon nap! 5 Stars.

100 layer lasagna and veal parmigiana

This place has been on my Dallas to do list for a while. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun. The service is nice. Food isn't bad, but I wouldn't come here for the food. It's a place to have fun. Ambiance: Nice looking dining room. It is a bit loud, but it is still easy to have a conversation at the table. A fair number of people were dressed up on the Saturday evening we visited. The flimsy paper menus seemed out of place. Food: Everything was tasty and simple. We started with the carpaccio, then 100 layer lasagna and veal parmigiana, and finally tiramisu. Portions are sizable and hearty. We were fans of the tiramisu.

A great upscale experience. The service is top notch, my waiter was well informed on the wine list. Linguine vongole was a bit bland but other dishes and cocktails were great!

Everyone was attentive and the ambiance was unmatched. Went with my friend where I started with the This Drink is A-N-A-N-A-S which was honestly such a good drink. We shared the calamari as well as some meatballs, both of which were very good. My friend got the bolognese that I also had a bite of and the fact that the bolognese was in the pasta was just amazing. I had the rigatoni alla vodka that came out so hot and had the perfect flavor. I finished with the Fico Suave drink and it ended up being really refreshing. I definitely think I will be back!!

Service was top notch and the ambience was great. We ordered one serving of the 100 layer lasagna to share and they were nice enough to split the portion into 2 halves for us. It was delicious and the wagyu carpaccio was great too!

Fachini is a very classic American-Italian restaurant, kind of has a country club feel but very nice inside. The service / staff were great, our waiter was actually really funny. The food was super good, from the beef carpaccio to the veal parm. The cocktails were also good. I give a 4/5 because it is DEFINITELY a good restaurant, but at their prices, it better be. 250 dollars for dinner for two, including two apps two drinks and two entrees means I am expecting incredible food. So again it is really good, just maybe not matching with the price point.

We were huge fans of Meddlesome Moth(which had closed a few months prior). The beer list didn't excite me(I'm a beer snob) but the bar vibe and the great staff quickly made me forget about that. We eat there twice a month now and when we don't get in on a regular schedule, we really miss it. I'm a huge fan of the steak frites and my wife loves the weekly pasta dishes which never disappoint. Food, however, wasn't great, we came multiple times last year and it was fantastic all around, last night?... New risotto appetizer was flavorless 4/10, sauce was outstanding 9/10. Chicken meatballs were 6/10, salty, but sauce again was 8.5/10. Bread with the meatballs was 9/10. Nightly special was 9/10, chicken thigh wrapped chicken leg, amazing sauce and carrots. Special sauce with the nightly special stole the night at 9.5/10 - I'd order a bowl of that and call it a night! Magic Chicken Thighs were 6/10, overly salted and dry - side arugula salad was a salt bomb 2/10. Sweet potatoe purée was 7.5/10. Burger and fries were 7/10, solid and above average. Salmon was 7/10, slightly overcooked. Mac & Cheese was 3/10, below average, dry, almost flavorless - paid $4 for bacon topping and it was dry also. Noodles were dried out and the cheese sauce was at the bottom of the cup, tasted like they scooped in pre-made noodles, added sauce, threw it in the oven and off it went - didn't appear mixed together at the least. Carrots, solid 8/10. Overall, I'd be tempted to give it another try, the ambiance and overall feel is awesome - then hope the food is great again and make it a perfect Friday night spot, but for $275 for the 4 entree's, 2 appetizer's and 2 drinks we got last night?
