Tortellini carbonara with crispy pancetta and braised short rib!!!!!
    Bruce E.

A group of 14 and everyone was gushing with praise. Large servings, great service in a nice but casual place. Tortellini carbonara with crispy pancetta and braised short rib was the star of the evening.

My brother dined in and raved about it so much that I had to go the next day. Service was great and they offered individual coat racks to everyone! We loved the food, I got the short rib and it was such a big portion that I saved some for my lunch the next day. The lobster ravioli wasn't my fave due to the slight fishy taste but my boyfriend liked it. And that focaccia.. I've never had anything like it, the honeycomb was the best part. The drinks were sweet and strong, and the blondie was a nice ending to our dining experience here!

My favorite place to get pasta in Dallas! The pastas are fresh, delicious and there is also gluten free options! The must get is the seafood pasta- literally the best pasta I've had in awhile and I often crave it!

We have visited Enoteca Italia twice so far, and both experiences were outstanding. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top-tier, and the ambience is warm, and could be romantic even cause I really do love this restaurant! First Visit - July 19 We discovered Enoteca Italia almost by accident and booked a 7:30 pm double date. I only managed one photo (the focaccia--don't skip it!), but every dish was incredible. Our server, Gino, was training a new team member and was fantastic--knowledgeable, attentive, and fun. We also met Gina, owner/manager who happily chatted with us about the menu and the restaurant. I witnessed a lot of delicious entrees going by! Second Visit - August 28 This time we did not make a reservation because we sometimes just get a craving for Italian and must have it. It was a great decision because the bar was pretty empty so we had it all to ourselves pretty much! We ran into Gina again and she introduced us to Chris, the bartender as we sat at the cozy horseshoe-shaped bar, which has a single tv, and a relaxed vibe. The food again came out fresh, hot and full flavor. My spaghetti pappardelle is now firmly in my Dallas Top 3--and is #1 now with those silky noodles and to me the color was perfect and the pasta was perfection! I finished it all and felt afterwards! My husband agreed it was every bit as good as the city's more famous Italian spots (yes, even Il Bracco!). It's really close but there's just something about this sauce and pasta and just melts in your mouth. Extras Parking is in the Centrum garage off Welborn Street; grab a ticket and the restaurant validates it. Whether it's a date night, a girls' night out, or a business dinner, this spot is perfect: intimate but not crowded, with a great little bar. If you love authentic Italian food made with care and passion, Enoteca Italia is a must-try. I'm already planning visit number three. I hope to see yall there!!!

Tried this restaurant out last night for a joint bday celebration! The food was delicious, but a little on the pricier side. Our server was super nice, and the staff were super attentive! My water was always topped off and never empty! The inside was lovely, I loved the decor and it was a super welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in. I got the mushroom ravioli which was one of their specials, I thought it was really good. The mushrooms added so much flavor to the ravioli and the truffle was the perfect amount. As soon as they brought the entree to the table the smell was amazing. (Keep in mind the plate of ravioli was $39) Overall I really enjoyed my visit, the staff also wrote a personal card for our birthdays which made us feel so special! They also came out and surprised us with an ice cream dessert to celebrate!

First off, yes, you have to park in a garage and get a ticket like you're about to see a movie. But they validate, so it's free in the end. Love that journey for us. Came for lunch. The place is cute - big windows, natural light, fresh flowers on the table. Simple, not overdone. Feels like somewhere you'd sit and pretend you're in Italy while avoiding your email. Drake was my server and let me know I was 10 minutes away from missing the lunch menu but if I ordered right then, I'd still get lunch pricing. Sir, you speak my love language: saving money. Here's what I got: Focaccia (4/5): Giant piece. Like, they weren't stingy at all. The stracchino cheese and honeycomb combo was *chef's kiss*. Some bites were a little too crunchy, but nothing that ruined it. Arugula Salad (5/5): If you don't like arugula, keep scrolling. I do. And this one hit - grapes, almonds, and the balsamic was balanced. Big portion too. Pappardelle (3.5/5): It was fine. Honestly, I thought I ordered something else so I can't even be mad. Just a lot of meat sauce. Like, a LOT. Flavor was there, just not my fave style. Mocktail - Fly Me to the Moon (5/5): Loved this. Non-alcoholic rosé, peachy, sugared rim, and super refreshing. Would get it again without hesitation. Would I go back? Yep. Would I try a different pasta next time? Also yes. But overall, solid lunch, good portions, cute space, and good vibes. Worth a visit.

Location Turtle creek area, just off Cedar Springs and Oak Lawn Parking Garage parking validated but only for a portion of parking time-be prepared to pay Atmosphere Classy Italian restaurant Seating Bar, low tables-great for groups Service Carlos rocked it!! Efficient, friendly, helpful with the menu. Menu Shareables, salads, mains, drinks pastas, desserts-something for everyone. Daily specials. We had the chopped salad and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly-really good. Best ever! The chopped salad was enough for 2! Carlos served us both on separate plates! Wonderful! He grated fresh parmesan on both! Great wine list! We finished the meal with the special creme brulee-it was a glazed donut on raspberry sauce with crunchy topping. Very unusual but delicious! Summary My husband was so impressed by this restaurant that he brought me. This restaurant was a perfect date night place. Elegant, relaxed atmosphere, great menu-delicious food. Everything about this place was wonderful-food, service, seating!! Can't wait to go back soon!

4.5/5 Great staff that continuously updated us on seating Friendly, with manager checking up on tables. Great interior for date night Dishes are on the slightly pricier end for italian dishes, but at no expense of flavor. Twas still an amazing experience w great flavors. Validates parking, ample parking in parking garage.

Great first experience. We made a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and regularly checking we were on without being intrusive. The food was very tasty. The server had great recommendations and the ambiance was noisy yet intimate. Definitely coming back.

I've been on a mission to try every restaurant Uptown as I'm new to the area. When I saw reviews for Enoteca, I absolutely had to visit! I made reservations for Saturday night at 8:45. We arrived at about 8:30 and were immediately greeted by two lovely hostess. About 5 mins later, we were lead to our two top near the window. The restaurant is a beautiful. Dimly with flowers and greenery throughout. It's almost whimsical and perfect for a romantic evening and just cozy dinner for a singles or your group. Shortly after we were seated, our waitress arrived who was also very friendly and personable. We were offered tap, distilled or sparkling water. We opted for sparkling, a glass of white wine (Terra Gauda O Rosal) and a Whiskey Sour. The Terra was refreshing and easy on the palette. And although the Whiskey Sour was not made with an egg white, it was well balanced and delicious. Now, the food was without a doubt the star of the show. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, sausage rigatoni, zucchini "fries" and Brussels sprouts. Everything was fresh, flavorful and perfectly portioned! Midway through the meal, the manager came by to make sure we were enjoying our meal; and we definitely were! And of course, we couldn't leave without trying dessert. We opted for the Lemoncello Marscapone and Brown Butterblondie. They did not disappoint! I think I found a new favorite and will definitely be back!

Absolutely the best Italian food I've ever eaten. The staff was amazing and the Chef ‍ came by our table at least twice to check on us. Make sure and ask for Scott. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.

We just left about an hour ago. Today being Valentine's Day made it so we werent able to do a walk-in due to not having a reservation and it being completely booked.. HOWEVER, the staff here decided to clear out the large table in the entrance lobby to sit us there. They did not have to do this, and it was only a sneak peak to how their service would be tonight. The whole time their customer service was 10/10. Polite, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and quick. What more could you ask for. The food....oh my goodness. Not one thing was disappointing. The focaccia, crab cakes, seafood pasta, bolognese, and large rigatoni was amazing. And that dessert!!! Definitely one of the best dining experiences ive had in a while. 100% stop by if you have the chance... Just make sure to have a reservation just in case haha.

They offered to buy her something to go which was very nice of them. The couple got up to pay for the homeless lady's food and as soon as they got up, the lady attacked their food like a zombie and ate it all. The couple hadn't even finished eating. So, the couple bolted out of there looking very disappointed. The homeless lady proceeded to fake cry very loudly until her food was ready. It was very awkward and sad. Now on to our experience. We ordered the garlic knots which were shameful. I would have been embarrassed to serve them. There were 3 two inch garlic knots. How is that an appetizer to share? I looked at them in complete disbelief. Plus, they were super tough. We were then the only people in the restaurant and it took them 30 minutes to bring out our pizzas. They felt bad that it was taking so long and gave us some free fried raviolis which was very nice. However, they were very overcooked and tasted like old grease. My wife order the bbq pizza which looked great. She said it was really good but had way too much bbq on it. I ordered the white sauce pizza. The crust was very good and thats mostly what I ate because the pizza was covered in sausage that tasted like cheap dog food. I picked at 3 slices and threw the rest away after we left. Steer clear of their sausage and you might be alright. Our server was very nice and took good care of us but MAN this was a weird experience. After we left, we went to a show at Puzzles and I had bad stomach cramps the rest of the night. Thanks Mama Mia....

The Brussels sprouts were especially delicious, and I would absolutely order them again. They were well-seasoned and paired perfectly with the ricotta cheese, and during Happy Hour all appetizers were $2 off, which was a nice bonus. We also took advantage of the $10 Happy Hour Margarita Pizza, along with a couple of pizzas not included in the deal like the Truffle Shuffle and the Honey Bastard. All of them were solid and flavorful choices. The food came out quickly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. Our server, Emma, took excellent care of us and explained their authentic pizza style: a thin, crunchy crust with a perfectly chewy inside. I'm giving this a solid 4 stars instead of 5 simply because while everything was very good, nothing quite wowed me enough to push it into "must-have, can't-stop-thinking-about-it" territory. Still, it's a great spot with good food, good service, and a worthwhile Happy Hour.

Let's just say it was a much cheaper solution than flying her to the Big Easy. No gumbo on the menu, but the sandwich hit the spot. We decided to come to Avanti based on the photos and the amount of reviews. The ambience was fantastic. My nephew said he felt like he was on vacation. It was fun and lively. The decor was perfect - almost old style Italian. The live entertainment was a guy playing the classic guitar and he was super. The food was not bad at all. So you have to understand that no one cooks as good as I do or my sister; the food coming out of our kitchens is what we grew up with. That's why most of the time we do not go out for Italian food, but with that in mind, for this place, the food was good. So now for my recommendations: bread should come with the meal complementary PERIOD! When the bill came we were shocked to see we were charged for 2 orders of bread. Yes the bread was elevated- a very delicious garlic type of bread with some Parmesan melted on top but that's not what we wanted. We wanted basic bread that you sop up all the sauce with. All the waiter said was "bred for the table?", so we were not expecting the garlic bread. But if you do order it from the starter section, I will say it was fantastic. Also, please carefully read the menu; many items that usually come with your entrée appear to be à la carte, for example we were charged over 80 bucks for six salads. Apparently they did not come with the entrée, however, when the waiter came around to take our orders, we gave the entrée name and then he asked "super or salad?". That would lead one to believe that that came with the meal, but apparently it did not. Also, when we ordered the calamari appetizer, he brought two orders. We found this out when the bill came. For a party of six, we had four cocktails, one iced tea and one water, six entrées plus the bread we had to pay for and six salads. We did NOT order coffee, after dinner drinks, extra wine or dessert. The bill was over $500. The waiter had added a 22% tip. Yes I understand for large parties tip gets automatically added, on but he was not worth 22% and now I am gonna get into that. My brother-in-law was the designated driver. He was not drinking. He had his whole family in his vehicle so no, he did not want to get into an accident. He ordered an iced tea half sweet the waiter gave him a difficult time mostly because he didn't order a cocktail and it became embarrassing. So overall ambience five stars; Food three and a half stars ; Service three stars-I don't like having to pay 22% gratuity for a smart mouth.
