Came here for a birthday dinner on a Friday night and the hosts were friendly and had our table ready on time. We started with meatballs and the ricotta focaccia, both were okay. We order a lot for the table and the stars of the show were the vodka pizza and chicken parm. The pizza was so thin and the fresno pepper was the right amount of kick while the chicken parm was cooked to perfection. Great for girls night or a big crowd, would come back to try their other pastas/pizzas. There's valet which is a plus!

Emmy's Cheese Toast. The perfect crunch & chew. Buttery and so good with the marinara and ranch!

Honestly, this might be my favorite Italian restaurant in Dallas...every experience is deliciously wonderful! I love the decor and ambience and most importantly the food! Our go to is the kale salad, I'm obsessed, you must get extra dressing. Most recently, we tried the meatballs, crispy provolone and whipped ricotta, I'd get them every time, over and over, absolutely delicious, cleaned the plate. Our waitress, Makali, she truly took great care of us for our birthdays, we had a great night!

Ospi was somewhere I had wanted to try ever since it opened, so I was excited to finally see what all the hype was about. We started with the whipped ricotta and focaccia, which was good but nothing crazy, the calamari, which was perfectly fried with great dipping sauces, and the kale salad, which I enjoyed but didn't quite live up to the hype. Everyone said the "greatest kale salad" but it was just another kale salad to me. They accidentally brought us the crispy provolone, and it ended up being pretty good! For entrees, we got the Margherita pizza, which was super thin but nothing to rave about, the spicy rigatoni, which I wish had more tangy Calabrian chili flavor but was still one of the better spicy rigatonis in Dallas, and the tagliatelle, which was overrated compared to what I'd seen online. Service was slow since the chefs were still training, but everyone was incredibly kind. The managers even comped our appetizers because of the extremely long wait. Ospi is definitely pricey for what we had, but I can see a lot of potential, and I'd love to come back once everything is running more smoothly

I was so excited to see Ospi made a branch in Dallas! The spicy rigatoni and kale salad were as good as I remember them being. The Japanese eggplant dish was basically an eggplant parm, and was so delicious

Came back a second time to try again. We started with a round of drinks. Our cocktails got to the table before we had to ask our server to fill our water cups. We got the garlic confit foccia. Not very much garlic oil. We then split the spicy rigatoni, cacio pepperoni pizza, and kale salad. Spicy rigatoni portion was really small compared to the table who got it next to us. Pizza was good. Kale salad was boring. Overall, service needed work. Attentiveness, taking menus after ordering, bringing water, knowing how to split bill, picking up dishes when done etc. Got the dirty martini and not worth $22 at all.

Ospi had been on my radar ever since they opened a couple of months ago. I was excited to finally check it out! They took over the former Meddlesome Moth space, which I always enjoyed going to. So I had high expectations for this place. I will say that Ospi has completely transformed it The interior is absolutely beautiful and feels nothing like the previous restaurant. The design has a bright, Southern Italian coastal vibe. We chose to sit on the enclosed patio, which was comfortable and fully climate-controlled. Even in the middle of a Texas summer, it stayed cool and made for a really enjoyable dining experience Service was excellent! Our server was attentive and kept our drinks refilled throughout the meal The food was very good overall, with several dishes that I would absolutely order again. The standouts were the Kale Salad, Focaccia with Whipped Ricotta, Tagliatelle alla Emiliana, Funghi Pizza, and the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream The Funghi Pizza was my favorite dish of the night. It was incredibly flavorful. The crust was super thin and not crispy, but super light and chewy. The Kale Salad was honestly one of the best i've had at any restaurant (and i've ordered a lot of kale salads over the years). The Whipped Ricotta tasted incredibly fresh and creamy. My only small critique is that there was much more ricotta than focaccia, so we wished that there was more bread. I ended up dipping the pizza crust into it. The Tagliatelle alla Emiliana tasted really good as well We also tried the seasonal Red Snapper, which was well cooked with nothing to complain about. The Calamari was perfectly seasoned, and the spicy remoulade that came with it was well balanced For dessert, we ordered the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream which was surprisingly light without being overly heavy, and the perfect way to finish dinner. However, the Lemon Cheesecake, was just okay and didn't stand out as much as the other dessert The only dish that missed the mark for me was the Lasagna which I had ordered. It was beautifully plated and nice to look at, but I found it lacking flavor. I also tend to prefer a more rustic, traditional-style lasagna which is how I make mine at home. So this one just wasn't for me Overall, Ospi exceeded my expectations. We all left happily full and are already looking forward to coming back!

    Spicy Rigatoni with Vodka sauce

Ospi brings a modern twist to classic southern Italian dining. This fine dining establishment was created by a Top Chef contender, originally founded in California. They are known for their vodka sauce and after trying it firsthand I understand why it's so well known. For starters, we ordered garlic confit foccacia served with olive oil, olives, and rosemary almonds. The bread itself was well seasoned and soft and paired well with the garlic butter and olives (both pitted and non pitted olives were included). For main dishes, we ordered various pasta dishes, half of the party (including me) ordered the Spicy Rigatoni served in the vodka sauce and I selected the meatballs add on. Important to note if you are ordering the same thing, the meatballs are $3 each, not total and you typically get about 3 on the dish so it's about $9 for meatballs which I thought was a bit excessive pricing wise. Despite that this dish was well worth it as the sauce is so good and one of the best vodka pasta dishes I've ever tried. It's actually a bit spicy which I've found other vodka sauces fail in this department. I added chili flakes, but it's not required, only if you like an extra kick. The rigatoni is cooked beautifully and the meatballs are tasty along with the sauce and spices. Lastly, we ordered the tiramisu for the table and it was honestly so light and creamy, I was very impressed. Ospi is definitely worth trying at least once.

So good I got it delivered the day after visiting! Although i'm sad Meddlesome Moth is gone, I'm excited that Ospi is an excellent replacement. The pasta here is freshly made and it's obvious from the taste. My friend and I ordered the whipped ricotta, and garlic confit focaccia for appetizers. They honestly should come together, the garlic confit was underwhelming alone. For the entrees we ordered the tagliatelle and the chicken Parmesan with rigatoni. I wanted the lasagna but it was sold out. I was pleasantly surprised by the tagliatelle, it was perfect! Pasta melts in your mouth and the dishes have do much flavor. The food was so good that I got the lasagna delivered the next day. Everything was packaged well and was still hot when it got to me. I can't wait to go back/get other dishes delivered. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful. However, It's extremely loud in there, like louder than a normal busy restaurant. I'll try patio seating next time because it sounds like everyone is yelling at each other inside.

I saw this all over TikTok and I was thoroughly impressed. The drinks were fantastic but the food stole the show. Our waiter told us which items to get and he was amazing. The whipped ricotta was phenomenal and I can't wait to come back just for that. The kale salad was fresh and light, i loved the dressing they used on it. Also the lasagna was so good and my favorite dish. It sucks it leaves off the menu next week. Overall the restaurant was beautiful with amazing food. I'm so glad I got to try it!

Good food, excellent service. The menu is somewhat Italian but has many other options that are quite unique. The Pizza was flavorful, and the beef rib was excellent. They also have a decent cocktail menu.

Beautiful restaurant, our waitress was so attentive and constantly checking in on us. Gave us a complimentary dessert and champagne for the birthday at the table. Moving on to the food, the crispy provolone and vodka pizza were memorable of the night. Can skip the whipped ricotta next time, lacking in flavor.

The restaurant was probably 75% full and it was just 2 of us, so easy peasy. Amber(I really hope that's right) was a great waitresses. She greeted us and asked if we wanted anything besides the waters that had already been given. She then gave us a few minutes to look over the menu... Side bar: I guess I'm just old, but I want a real menu, not a QR code to scan. We looked over the menu and decided on 2 small pizza to split. Fourmaggio, which almost always my go to if available at the pizza place, and the Potato and Pancetta. Both pizzas were great, but the Potato and Pancetta was the winner for us! Really cool little spot that seems like a hipster sports bar. We don't live close, but will probably go in the future if we're in the area.

Anyway, we weren't there for hats. We were there for pizza. First, a public service announcement. Figure out what you want before you walk in because the menu is only available through a QR code, and it is awful. You scroll. Then you scroll some more. Then somehow you're still scrolling. It feels less like ordering dinner and more like reading the terms and conditions for a mortgage. The two of us ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which turned out to be ambitious. We ate leftovers for days. Next time I'd definitely order the smaller size. My only real complaint about the pizza itself was the pepperoni. There was just TOO MUCH of it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. I'd love to see a "light pepperoni" option priced accordingly. ALSO not it is the good and greasy cupping pepperoni, kinda spicy. The pizza was also a little unevenly prepared. About half had a thicker crust while the other half was noticeably thinner. I definitely preferred the thinner side. Service was perfectly fine, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and the pizza was good overall. Just be prepared for the QR code marathon before you get to enjoy it.

The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly.
