Love avra! It's walking distance so I scooped this on the way and it was so so delicious. The avra chips weren't on doordash/uber eats for some reason but they did tell me they could make it to go if we wanted! Great flavors and very fresh

Amazing Greek restaurant where we got a chance to try a variety of dishes and found some absolute favorites. Beautiful restaurant with elegant bar and dining area! Began with a gin cocktail and some appetizers. Their take on a Greek salad was spectacular with lots of fresh grilled veggies. Also enjoyed their trio of dips with a fantastic tzatziki! Then we enjoyed amazing grilled shrimp and tuna tartare which was so delicious and fresh! The main courses were a variety of their dishes - many meat which I don't eat but their Sea-bass was melt in your mouth and their vegetables were cooked to perfection. Finally they brought us a dessert tray with a variety of pastries and fruit! They told us their signature was baklava which I typically don't like but their version was spectacular and. It too sweet. Really loved it! Service was fantastic throughout the night! This was a delicious meal on a very pretty setting!

Everything about this place is top notch! We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday and we were a party of 9. From start to finish, the service was impeccable from everyone. And the food was amazing! I wish I had gotten a picture of everything we had, but we were too busy enjoying it all. The appetizers are amazing and the entrees are incredible. The desserts were fantastic. This is definitely a place that you need to visit if you are looking for phenomenal food and service.

Visited Avra again and it did not disappoint. This time we tried their fish from fish market, you get to choose which fish you want and they will guide you on which one suits your palate. I loved their calamari, it was very fresh and delicious. We also tried ice cream for dessert and they do make it in house so it's fresh and never frozen.

A fantastic new Greek/Mediterranean venue that opened in September of 2025. We went there with a large group and everyone was thoroughly impressed with the service, the food, and the ambience. We started with drinks at the bar, which is beautifully appointed, and the bartenders were great. The restaurant menu is large with a mix of Mediterranean dishes, fresh fish, steaks chops, and many traditional Greek items. Most of the sides are a la carte. If you are considering fish, it includes a tour of the fresh fish cabinet, which is a large case full of ice and multiple different types of fresh fish and crustaceans. Wow! We ordered several for the table to eat family style. The Dover Sole was a huge hit, but everything was delicious. Try the carrabineros shrimp - fantastic. They have a great wine list, and our waiter was outstanding in helping us decide what to order. For dessert I highly recommend the butter cake, which was truly exceptional. Overall we had a wonderful experience and a very special night.

This is a cute Greek restaurant. They do have valet services. The food was good. I really loved the Greek salad, pita bread, the chicken and the cheesecake. The lunch menu is nice to have - I wish they allowed a little more customization. The service was great.

Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately loved the ambiance. Elegant and sophisticated, so don't come in here with t-shirts and flip flops! I mean you could but you might be turned away! Our server was pleasant and very helpful with all of our questions. He made sure we were good the entire time and not too much. Now here's what you came here for - the food! Hummus 9/10: I believe it is complimentary and it was some of the best I've had. Fresh and served with pita slices and crackers. Not a fan of the crackers but loved the pita bread. French fries 8/10: yes I ordered French fries and they were delicious. Cooked perfectly and had a great texture. Classic spread 8/10: selected the htipiti, tzatziki and scordalia as our dips and these were so fresh. The tzatziki was my fav. Also served with pita and crackers. I preferred the pita and wish it was served with more because there were three dips. Salmon 9/10: the salmon and the vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. Salmon was seasoned well and happy they had hot sauce. Yes I eat my salmon with hot sauce. Mocktail 9/10: I can't remember the name but this had nice flavor and was very refreshing. Wish I had ordered two!

Avra is a must-try. The food and the ambiance definitely speak for themselves. While our waiter was great, the hostess and our seating rubbed us the wrong way. Let's start with the good : Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious . We started with the Greek salad and the yellowtail jalapeño. The sashimi was divine and the fish melted in your mouth. For entrees, my husband got the big eye tuna and I got the Lavraki. I highly recommend the Lavraki if you enjoy mild fish with a buttery finish . The truffle fries were also yummy. The 'fish market' is a fun experience . What was a bit off putting was the fact that I made a reservation the day prior . We arrived about 3 minutes before our scheduled time and the people in front of us did not have a reservation. The hostess told us she will check us in and to wait a bit while she 'finds us a table' and seated the other party first. In addition, they literally sat us right by the registers and kitchen door so there were constantly employees walking by me and almost bumping into me - just an odd place to seat someone. Overall, this wouldn't stop us from coming back, but definitely made our experience a bit frustrating .

We had the Dover sole and it was excellent--perfectly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Greek salad was fresh and delicious, and the overall meal was outstanding. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every part of the experience exceeded expectations. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.

Our server, Kevin, was 10/10. It's really good service that will set a restaurant apart. The kitchen sent out a Greek salad that was basically just tomatoes, so Kevin had another one sent with no tomatoes so we could combine them. The food was very flavorful and distinctly different from a lot of the restaurants you have in Dallas. Pretty busy night meant the restaurant was noisy, but still had a great ambiance. Will be going back for sure.

The pastichio was delicious. A platter that used to be shareable is barely for one. The vibe is casual but romantic. What you would expected for a restaurant in this neighborhood. The lights are dim so bring a date. The little bar could be fun for drink before heading out for the night and there's a small patio. The service was swift and they offered a Greek wine option based on my tastes. It's was good and I would order a glass again. The pink dining room in the back is adorable and Instagram-worthy, and the patio feels like you've been transported to the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, the service and food didn't live up to the setting. We arrived right at 5 PM and had even called ahead to confirm the happy hour menu. When we got there, we were told the menu had changed. Fine, we adjusted and placed our order at 5:30. By 6 PM, only half of it had arrived, and when we asked about the missing items, they wouldn't honor the happy hour pricing even though this was the first thing we ordered when we arrived. The meatballs were what we were most excited to try, but after waiting 40 minutes (with all of our other food already out), they still hadn't arrived. On top of that, our drinks took over 30 minutes and multiple reminders to finally show up. The happy hour deals for drinks were great, drinks were 1/2 off and they do $5 Lalo tequila. Maybe it was just an off day, but between the slow service, missing items, and mixed-up pricing, the experience was pretty disappointing - especially considering how beautiful the space is.
