This was the 2nd time we tried their brunch special and won't be our last. Again, it was wonderful. Their food is so bold in flavor and the brunch selection is so varied. I went to Ziziki's to celebrate a friend's birthday with brunch. We were a large group of more than 16 - they were accommodating with the table setup and pretty attentive with filling waters. The format of the brunch is 'all you can eat' with a 45$ entry for adults, 20$ for kids. This is my main gripe with the place - the price is hefty, and it didn't quite feel 'unlimited' enough to justify it. I think the fact that we were in a large group may have affected this, as it might've been difficult for the server to keep up. However, all plates are served family style, and in my opinion, it makes it a lot harder to get enough of the items you like. Also, the mimosas are limited to one bottle of champagne per two adults. Not terrible, not great. The Ziziki's bread is fantastic as a starter, it got my hopes up. I tried to order more of it at some point actually, but the server never ended up bringing it. It was pretty difficult to ask for particular things, it seemed like everything was coming out on a schedule and that was about it. Again worth noting the party size here. I wasn't blown away by the food otherwise. The meatballs were great. The lamb souvlaki was immensely disappointing, probably some of the toughest lamb I've ever had. The chicken souvlaki didn't look much better but I didn't try it. The rest of the platters were sort of assorted greens and other salads/sides, probably typical Mediterranean stuff. I don't recommend this place for a large party. Otherwise, if you're very into Mediterranean food, it's a fine (expensive) experience featuring the occasional tasty thing. read more

Incredible Brunch! Comparing to other brunch spots we hesitated because of the price, but for the quality and amount of food and drinks, along with the 5 star service, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. Every dish, down to the olives which I ordered extras of, were perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. The service cannot be overstated, Selvin took care of our every need and more. Our favorite was course 3 of the brunch: the salad and hummus were incredible, unlike any we've had before. There honestly is no place like this around here, and we felt lucky to find such a gem. I think this is mine and my husband's new favorite Greek restaurant in the Dallas area. We tried three of the souvlakis - lamb, chicken, and shrimp. The lamb and chicken were cooked to absolute perfection while we were kind of unimpressed by the shrimp. Their pita is thick and delicious. Their roasted red potatoes may be some of my favorites I've had. We also had the spanakopita which was a little different than we're used to - it was stacked like a piece of pie filled with so much spinach. It was very good. We sat on the patio which was well shaded and kept us cool despite it being May 31 in Texas. Service was great. We'll definitely be back. read more

Stumbled across this place when I went for a walk on Katy Trail. This cute little cafe is tucked into their shopping plaza and has a patio outside and indoor dining as well. We sat down because we noticed the happy hour deal for 1/2 of bottles of wine. We got a delicious greek white wine and ordered the vegetarian platter and trio of dips to share for 3 people. Everything was delicious and fresh! All the dips had nice flavors(the red one was my favorite) and were served with warm pita. I would definitely visit again to try a main dish. read more

If I could add 10 more stars I would. This establishment has been one of my favorite since moving to Dallas. It's a smaller dining room more intimate very cozy very clean very sleek. The ambiance is just absolutely fantastic. The host was a little quiet and not as friendly as I would like but that's okay she can do better. We always sit at the bar I love the experience with the bartenders. And our bartender was absolutely amazing. He paired our bottle of wine magnificently. The food was absolutely superb. just looking for a plate of food that resembles what it's supposed to be, and is in most places where you'd want, if not to live then at least spend a few days. despite that, according to news media, everyone of at least comfortable means is moving here from the left coast, my advice is keep going. this seemed to be, from outward appearances, a taverna style greek/mediterranean restaurant. all i wanted was what is usually termed a "village salad". tomatoes, cucumber, green bell pepper and onion with a reasonable amount of kalamata olives dotting the landscape. simple enough oil/vinegar with whatever herb combo seems right. what came out was a small plate with a large dose of olives, whole salad tomatoes, no bell pepper and cooked onions. the only thing less on target was the order of fried calamari which i won't even attempt to describe. if the wine list had included anything resembling retsina i'd have been ok with even that, but the waitress had never heard of it. i give up. wonder where i can get an order of gai lan with oyster sauce? read more

I'm so glad we found this place. We'll definitely be back. My daughter got the lamb giro... I was yuge! She said it was delicious. I stole some potatoes off her plate because they looked amazing - beat potatoes I ever ate. And the waiter brought us some extras tsatsiki sauce unsolicited. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the chicken avgelemono soup. The chicken in it was cubed not shredded, and it tasted grilled, which I liked. I would have like more rice or orzo in the soup, but it was very tasty and satisfying. For a cocktail, I ordered an ouzo with lemonade. The waiter, normally the bartender, had never had it, but liked it and said he was going to put it on their summer drink menu. I really liked the atmosphere. It wasn't loud, so we were able to easily have a conversation. The lighting was low (I used the flashlight on my phone to read the menu). I didn't know Greek food could be upscale but Ziziki's has proven me wrong. Two of us came here on a weeknight for dinner and had a good time. We had reservations so it there wasn't a wait for us, but it wasn't too busy inside when we got there. Our server took our drink order and the drinks came promptly. We also ordered a couple of appetizers to start off with. We had the cheese bread and calamari. We wanted to chat over drinks and appetizers for awhile before ordering our entrees but felt a little rushed as the server came by a handful of times to ask if we wanted to order. Eventually we gave in, and ordered. I had the lamb special (served three ways) which is pictured below. The food was very good and I was pleasantly surprised. This past Wednesday I had such a fun lunch, and that was because we had the BEST service ever! The General Manager Gretchen was truly such a delight! She brightened up my day, and had a smile at all times! I can tell she wears many hats. We had a grand time celebrating my friend's birthday. It was her first time there, and she is an expert in cooking Mediterranean dishes. She was impressed with the dish she chose: Grilled Salmon, Mediterranean Couscous, asparagus.
