Nachos

Came again late on Friday. They have a great $4 shots deal and I had the fried Oreos and french fries which were both exactly what I needed. The only thing I don't like about this place is how uncomfortable their stools are lol I'd recommend a booth if you can snag one

Location Henderson section of Dallas-off 75 and Henderson Parking Large but not large enough lot-we parked on the street a few blocks away Atmosphere Neighborhood sports bar-large and multiple screens Seating Bar, tables, booths-multiple areas Service Outstanding-turtle shots for first timers! Yum! Menu So much to choose from-appetizers, bar food, full bar. We had the deviled eggs-really good, topped with candied bacon. See happy hour menu til 7 and daily specials! Summary Neighborhood sports bar-outstanding service, fun atmosphere, delicious menu!

Mayer burger, side Caesar, sweet potato fries, and Nuggs

Upscale bar food. Everything was quite solid. The burger and hummus were the stars of the show. The burger had unique toppings that had great flavors but the beef patty itself was bland and lacked seasoning. The hummus was some top tier quality. The ceasar was nothing special except they opt to use stale chips instead of croutons which is an interesting choice. What was the biggest letdown was the Nuggs. I had heard such good things about them on socials but we were disappointed. We found that, in majority of our order, the batter had zero flavor and the meat was so dry and chewy. At the bottom of the bowl however we found some Nuggs that had better seasoning and texture. This seems to be a quality control issue that we felt the brunt of. Overall, I would like to come back to try the Nuggs on a better day and to explore more of the menu.

Sweet potato fries

Went here for brunch and to watch the masters they had a giant screen great for watching the salad was really good and well dressed, sweet potato fries or some of the best I've ever had obviously got it with a side of ranch the brunch patty melt needed more seasoning even though it had a truffle aïoli it was lacking a little bit of flavor. The transfusion I got was very good. Service was good and this is a great place to watch the game.

Great place to watch college football on Saturdays ! It gets crazy packed but it's a very fun environment! It also is a fun and chill place on Sundays to watch NFL games and to have an easy brunch! The espresso martinis are really good and they are known for their nuggets which were so good !!

Decided to check out the OU/TX Red River Rivalry here with some friends. Pros: -Good Service considering how busy they were -Big TV and multiple smaller ones to catch the games -Patio area for seating -Food was decent (got the buffalo and honey BBQ nuggies and sweet potato fries) both were yum and tasted like actual good chicken versus the frozen type. Cons: -Not a ton of seating considering they're a football watching bar - Small parking lot (luckily lots of street parking) -Some unnecessarily rude staff at the bar - Small ass bathrooms- there was consistently a line for the men's which is crazy because I've never seen a women's line go by faster.

Mayer's just might be my favorite place in Dallas for a good time. It's a perfect mix of laid-back comfort and high-energy fun that makes it feel like the kind of place you could hang out every day if you're catching up with friends, celebrating, or enjoying a game. The staff here are warm and welcoming, whoever is in charge of hiring does a damn good job! As an avid sports fan, I also value a bar that plays tje games. When I come, TVs are tuned in to what matters, and they make sure the sound is on for the games us Dallasites care about. Moving on to the food, the head chef puts his heart and soul into the recipes and you can tell. It's the kind of food you want in front of you at any time of the on any day of the week. I've spent my birthday, Texas/ou, and had many great spur of the moment hang outs with friends and it only gets better every time I go. I love Mayer's Garden!

One of my favorite places to watch sports! The patio is great & they spray mist during the summer to keep you cool. The indoor area has a giant screen the size of the wall for you and your friends to watch your favorite teams. Their chicken nuggies are a Dallas stable as well. Great brunch deals too. They recently updated their menu & added a bunch of new items. Definitely check it out!

A rare place on Henderson that is good and actually has parking available. So, we tried it. Walking in we were taken back by the open-spacious feel of the place. They have a lot of woods used throughout, which gave the place a nice earthy feel. The service was really good. While we had a person who introduced herself as our server, this place seems to work on a team concept. We had no less than 4 servers throughout the course of our visit. It worked fabulously. We ordered and shared the Fully Loaded Crispy Potatoes , for our appetizer. They were amazing and I would come back tomorrow for more! For our main course we had the Seared Chicken. Think Chicken Breast in a Siracha Butter Sauce atop a Corn & Potato Croquet. It was literally OMG! I can't wait to come back!

It was date night and I had stumbled across their insta post advertising their christmas movie nights and I immediately sent it to my boyfriend! Plans were immediately made to go watch Die Hard! Lol! As soon as we got there we were taken to the patio where the movie is shown and the entire ambiance throughout the restaurant is decorated in a chic christmas decor theme! The most beautiful white and gold color palette really adds a level of beauty to the ambiance! First things first, our waiter was amazing! He was so attentive especially because we were the only ones on the patio! Yes...we were the only ones who decided to see the Christmas movie Die Hard lol! For food we opted for a pizza and their buffalo bites! I am being quite honest when I say that this is some of the best crafted pizza we have ever eaten! We tried the hot honey pizza the last time we came and tried the Barnyard this time around and O M G! It was so so great! The buffalo bites are also a hit for us, mainly because they serve a lot of bites and not just 5-6 like most places! Of course, we couldn't leave without trying their festive drinks! My boyfriend enjoyed a hot peppermint tea while I got to try their sugar cookie martini and their Espresso Manhattan! The Sugar cookie martini definitely took the cake! 10/10! I was worried for a bit because of how milky it is, but it was a pleasant surprise! Overall, the experience was astounding! We definitely want to come back for their Home Alone night!

Visited Hendys on Henderson with some friends for happy hour recently and we had a great time with delicious food, good drinks, and great atmosphere. Firstly for appetizers/small plates, we ordered the burrata (this dish seems to be seasonal with the menu alternating between different fruit accompanying the burrata every few months or so; during our visit, it was paired with apple). We also tried the pretzel calamari (I was very curious what about this made it pretzel inspired as I've never seen this combo before but we discovered it was cooked in a pretzel coating, and it was definitely worth trying) and the Hendys Tendys (served with Texas toast and fries). For drinks if you like spicy and savory, you can't beat the spicy pickle margarita which has tequila, orange liqueur, muddled jalapeño, pickle juice, lime, agave syrup and garnished with gherkins (small pickled cucumbers similar to cornichons) and a Thai chili. Don't worry about it being too spicy as it's a perfect blend of tangy with a slight kick. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other drinks and main menu items.
