Mayer burger, side Caesar, sweet potato fries, and Nuggs
    Aj L.

Upscale bar food. Everything was quite solid. The burger and hummus were the stars of the show. The burger had unique toppings that had great flavors but the beef patty itself was bland and lacked seasoning. The hummus was some top tier quality. The ceasar was nothing special except they opt to use stale chips instead of croutons which is an interesting choice. What was the biggest letdown was the Nuggs. I had heard such good things about them on socials but we were disappointed. We found that, in majority of our order, the batter had zero flavor and the meat was so dry and chewy. At the bottom of the bowl however we found some Nuggs that had better seasoning and texture. This seems to be a quality control issue that we felt the brunt of. Overall, I would like to come back to try the Nuggs on a better day and to explore more of the menu.

Went here for brunch and to watch the masters they had a giant screen great for watching the salad was really good and well dressed, sweet potato fries or some of the best I've ever had obviously got it with a side of ranch the brunch patty melt needed more seasoning even though it had a truffle aïoli it was lacking a little bit of flavor. The transfusion I got was very good. Service was good and this is a great place to watch the game.

Great place to watch college football on Saturdays ! It gets crazy packed but it's a very fun environment! It also is a fun and chill place on Sundays to watch NFL games and to have an easy brunch! The espresso martinis are really good and they are known for their nuggets which were so good !!

Decided to check out the OU/TX Red River Rivalry here with some friends. Pros: -Good Service considering how busy they were -Big TV and multiple smaller ones to catch the games -Patio area for seating -Food was decent (got the buffalo and honey BBQ nuggies and sweet potato fries) both were yum and tasted like actual good chicken versus the frozen type. Cons: -Not a ton of seating considering they're a football watching bar - Small parking lot (luckily lots of street parking) -Some unnecessarily rude staff at the bar - Small ass bathrooms- there was consistently a line for the men's which is crazy because I've never seen a women's line go by faster.

Mayer's just might be my favorite place in Dallas for a good time. It's a perfect mix of laid-back comfort and high-energy fun that makes it feel like the kind of place you could hang out every day if you're catching up with friends, celebrating, or enjoying a game. The staff here are warm and welcoming, whoever is in charge of hiring does a damn good job! As an avid sports fan, I also value a bar that plays tje games. When I come, TVs are tuned in to what matters, and they make sure the sound is on for the games us Dallasites care about. Moving on to the food, the head chef puts his heart and soul into the recipes and you can tell. It's the kind of food you want in front of you at any time of the on any day of the week. I've spent my birthday, Texas/ou, and had many great spur of the moment hang outs with friends and it only gets better every time I go. I love Mayer's Garden!

It's a fun and chill vibe here. Sweet potato fries are a must order. Crispy and sweet. Happy hour is great and pet friendly on the patio

One of my favorite places to watch sports! The patio is great & they spray mist during the summer to keep you cool. The indoor area has a giant screen the size of the wall for you and your friends to watch your favorite teams. Their chicken nuggies are a Dallas stable as well. Great brunch deals too. They recently updated their menu & added a bunch of new items. Definitely check it out!

The restaurant was decorated with a lot of greenery. It's like if a person with a green thumb was allowed an endless budget. The back patio is where my party sat for a late lunch. A bit hot but the server kept the drinks flowing and the laughs kept us cool in between them. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. It was so damn good. Their fries were as well. I demolished this meal. My son sat at another table with his teammates and ordered the pizza. He loved it and ate the whole thing! Crazy but after a couple water polo matches I am not too shocked. Parking here was a pain but they offer valet, at least on Sundays, to help. The lady's working were very helpful in finding our large party seating.

The location is a bonus, close enough to the trail that we parked once and made a full morning of it. We got there close to opening, and with World Cup later that afternoon the wait was nonexistent. Good timing on our part. The vibe inside is cool and laid back, exactly what you want after a morning outside. Service was friendly from the jump, and the bar clearly knows what they're doing. They make a great Carrajillo, which for me is a non-negotiable bonus. On to the food. I went with the Eggs Benedict and they were top tier, great flavor, well made, and came out fast. My wife got the jalapeño biscuits and gravy, and I'm genuinely glad she did because I was torn between that and what I ordered. I ended up getting bites of both, which was the right outcome for everyone. Both were phenomenal. This one is an easy add to the rotation. The trail, the food, the Carrajillo, it all works together. We're already talking about bringing the work crew back for happy hour.

We did show up maybe 1.5ish hours before the game and the whole place was packed, but I didn't mind sticking around even in the heat because they have a very nicely shaded outdoor patio area. This is a great spot to watch any of the FIFA games-- also came back here for the Norway game yesterday and had just as good of a time like the last. They have TVs everywhere inside (both floors) and a huge TV outside as well. The restrooms are clean. They have a lot so that helps especially when it's there's a lot of people-- hate going to places with ONE bathroom. A bunch of seating too- lots of high tops upstairs/downstairs, bunch of tables outside & they have a lot of extra chairs. Service is great. Everyone always checks in to ask how everything's going and drinks/ food don't take too long to come out. I do LOVE their flatbreads. I've tried several flatbreads and they are all super tasty and not too expensive. I did appreciate that when Mexico scored during that first game, the servers brought out a bunch of shots free for everyone to celebrate! I thought that was a nice touch since other bars I have been to in the area are not as thoughtful or organized enough to host a lot of people during the World Cup! Sweet touch. Will obviously be back!
